- In 1813, all roads led to Leipzig, the largest battle of the Napoleonic Wars. But on the season finale of Little Wars TV, 11 players choose their own roads on a custom theater map of central Germany. We aren't refighting one battle...no, our club will wargame the entire 1813 campaign from April to October!
Our Napoleonic 3-part campaign event begins December 19, 2023, exclusively on Little Wars TV. Like, subscribe, share, and do all the things, because we're going out with a bang. Over HALF of our regular viewers have not yet subscribed to the channel. What are you waiting for? Army level maneuver? Check. Diplomacy on an international scale? Check. Surprise twists along the way? Count on it. Miniature tabletop battles? You better believe it! - Zábava
When all hope was lost due to Ridley Scott, LWTV returned, when needed most.
Ridley may have skipped 1813-1814 altogether, but we are here to deliver!!
@@LittleWarsTV I don't even know if he skipped 1813-1814. It felt like he had a story he wanted to tell, and he decided it would be cool to give it a Napoleon skin. It was just a bizarre experience, and the craziest point was when the henry-martini on a stick from Sherlock Holmes was wheeled out for one scene!
@@PCardon13 Pleasing fools for years, Scott has become something of a fool himself.
you have saved my day from the horrors from Ridley Scott awful movie - i came at home so disturbed and by CHANCE youtube recommended me your video - saved my Napoleonic faith once more!
Finally, the campaign we have all been waiting for
It’s a big one! The biggest of them all!
Oh my. Napoleonic wars... one of my favorite genres in wargaming. Thank you. I can't wait!
This campaign might finally get this channel to 100k subscribers.
Fingers crossed!
I love these larger campaign style videos. Ever since the Punic Wars series, I have been hungry for more from y'all.
This should be a good one for you then! It’s only three parts, but they will be long. First part likely to be our longest ever
The Napoleonic series that we need
Can't wait. Let the holiday season battles commence! Whoever is Napoleon...no pressure.
Napoleon lost in Germany primarily due to the lack of horses. Men he could replace from Russia losses, war horses not so much. Hence he could not follow up on Bautzen , Lutzen etc. Looking forward to it. Can see Miles as Napoleon and Tony as Ney. Greg as Blucher
No Tony must play Murat!
@TravelinginMiniature Murat would be a solid choice also. Zach then for Ney, marshals who attack always loo
The lack of horses is definitely a big issue, and one that emerges as a problem for the French in our wargame too
@@LittleWarsTV awesome, thoroughly enjoy watching the games and the banter
I am super excited for this! The little snippet we got on Patreon was cool, but these videos are going to be even more inspiring.
This is indeed a treat for Christmastime!
Looking forward to this!
I am actually really excited to see this! I really love how LWTV combine operational level with wargames. I'd love a LWTV review Volley & Bayonet.
A brilliant game!
This looks truly amazing!
Sounds amazing, I have just been reading 2 books on the campaigns of 1813 so it will be fascinating to see how your campaign plays out.
We can say this much with confidence…it does not play out like the historical campaign at all!
Amazing! Can't wait for this!
YESSSSSSS. I WAS WAITING FOR YOU LADS TO DO A NAPOLEON CAMPAIGN. have fun
Ahhhhhh I'm so excited! Europe 1812-1814 is my favorite era in all of military history. Can't wait!
This is going to be epic!
Looking forward!
Looking forward to it!🙂👍
Yes, please!
You are the best guys.
1813! Great choice! Looking forward to this
Can't wait.
This will be epic!!!
Can't wait to see this! Been here since season 2 and can't wait to see more from you lovely gents
And we haven’t scared you off yet? Nice!
@@LittleWarsTV no I even started following you on Instagram
Great video. Low hanging fruit, but I’d have to say my favorite Napoleonic battle is Waterloo.
Ohhh that looks very much like 'Volley & Bayonet' for Leipzig? Excellent.
Man, I love the Leipzig campaign, can't wait for this. I've set a lot of my Napoleonic skirmish games around, lacking a big battle collection.
aw hell yeah, very excited for this
So looking forward to this one!
It’s a monster Part 1. Our longest episode ever, just for the first part!
I'll be sure to pop some popcorn! @@LittleWarsTV
I cant wait for it! let's see what we did not see at the cinema...
Ooh I remember the last Napoleonic game. I love the merging of campaign and skirmish level maps in your games!
HOLY MOLY
I am looking forward to the next group of wargaming. I love the interaction of the club members, the tabletop building and the history. I have to remind myself that you all have real jobs and cant just be making videos for us.
Wooo!!
OMGS!!! Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man, when I saw 1813 in the title I (foolishly) thought they might actually do a battle from the most pivotal war of the 1800's. The war of 1812. LOL
This looks great. I have a fantastic map for this campaign and I've never known what to do with it. Maybe you can give me some much needed inspiration.
We are going to try! Our campaign guide will be free too!
Can't wait for little wars tv to save Napoleon
If this is anything like the Pyrrhic campaign this will be well worth the wait. This will renew the excitement lost on that disastrous Ridley Scott film. Leave to the historical wargaming society to give us a proper story!
My eggnog should be pretty good to go for the finale.
Add an extra shot of booze for us!
I'm excited who will be Bernadotte and if there will be special rules for him. Many battles such as Katzbach and Großbeeren were so much onesided... How can you play it?
They're not doing a refight., it's a campaign. Also, name me one battle that has been as evenly matched as those a lot of wargamers like to fight, there's no 'points systems' in the real world. Real warfare isn't fair and for me the best wargaming experiences have been when I've been on the less advantaged side, bigger challenge is more fun.
Lopsided battles are resolved using the board game CRT with a die roll. We only game the suitable battles on the tabletop with minis!
What was the music used at the very beginning of the video?
A free classic track on the CZcams audio library!
I saw the napelon movie, it isnt bad but it inst what i expected i hope this is good as the phyrric campaign.
What rules system will you guys use?
Campaign of Nations as the campaign engine and Volley and Bayonet for the minis!
@00:19 Leipzig did not cause Napoleon to fall from power, the campaign of 1814 did.
Vive l'Empereur!
Bernadotte, this mean Sweden will been seen or first time in the channal?
Bernadotte and the Swedes will arrive!
Damn, this is the very campaign I want to re-fight. I've read a dozen books on the subject and am still confused about parts. Designing the game and board must have taken months if not years. You can bet I will cheat and copy whatever you come up with. Then I will only need to finish my Russian army before making a Prussian and Swedish armies. It's taken me 6 years to make French and Austrian forces so perhaps in another 6?
You absolutely can cheat and use our campaign guide. We are putting it all out there for free!
There's nothing we can do 😔 🇨🇵
Who will be able to bring freedom to Europe? Will it be the French empire, with its humanist values but whose operating principle imposes vassal states at its service? Will it be the monarchist powers of the coalition, who support serfdom, slavery and a whole set of retrograde values that will lead to a Printemps des Peuples and many revolutions later on? Will there be a third way?
Wish I had more thumbs!
More than two would be weird though, right??
@@LittleWarsTV It would definitely make it harder to paint all those Napoleonics for the Monaco Gaming Circuit
What do you mean finale, what did I miss?
We group our wargame episodes in “seasons.” Will be taking a break after this season ends
@@LittleWarsTV I only just saw a trailer, and now a finale. I feel like I missed the whole show or do not know where to find it
Yes! YES!! YEEES!!!!
It’s time to show the Koalition that numbers don‘t count when you are against the GOD of WAR!!
