Marvellous set up, they could be the up date of the 90's Japanese hi-end so adored by or for me.
If I had to start again from the beginning I sure would buy these but I'm done. I got at the end of my particular audiophile path. I've bought recently modern stuff that offered convenience at a reasonable price, even an UHD 4K 55' curved TV but respect to amps, preamps and phisical sources being digital or analog, I regard exclusive stuff being made 10 or 25 years ago at the same level of the best there is today.

+lord darmok The small system sounded superior to the larger more expensive one..... they both sound very solid state...... uh... maybe a better description is... they sounded digital .....
I like esoteric for the moment especially for market analyst industry, probability.

Very impressive system indeed. Love the transparent sound from a top cd player.
Another grand example, in my opinion of course, of very naturally produced sound, with coherent high's and mid's sounding very refined and detail; however, perhaps not as airy in sound nor as full as the AVM Audio system. Of course, having the capability to do all that this system does in a bookshelf speaker is quite a good alternative for a room that cannot support a larger system. Also, in my opinion, the exterior design of the equipment is quite lovely in its simplicity. There is something to be said for clean lines and lack of over-embellishment in what meets the eye.

Cabasse loudspeakers had very Good 3-D.
most of those tracks they play at these displays are recorded and done on Yamaha H10's , and you can get a woofer or 2 with that and go below 40s. 1000 bucks or so , im looking to get one my self

Bonjour, dans cette configuration musicale, quel est le caisson de basse qui est utilisé ?. A première vu, je pense qu'il s'agit d'un caisson cabasse. Je recherche un caisson hifi avec une fréquence de 20 Hz. J'apprécie beaucoup vos enceintes hifi. Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse

The aggressive angling on those bookshelfs... it's too sharp of an angle, that sounds terrible' you want the speakers slightly off axis, not both of the speakers shooting into your forehead like this. unless of course you prefer a very focused narrow soundstage, and the cold sterile sound of an on-axis tweeter.

Ola Justin look at the video, he is sitting BEHIND the sweet spot obviously, and think about this, the camera is in front of him, and the camera too is behind the " X " mark, so the person sitting the couch / chair is WAY behind the X mark.
You want to be ever so slightly infront of the X mark. And no, that does not depend on the speaker.
Well, if there are more than one listener, an aggressive angling actually makes for a wider sweat spot. Or at least the 99 percentile of a sweat spot. Maybe thats what they are doing?
Then there is no absolutes when it comes to sound. If they have tried different angles and decided that that was the best for this setup in this room, then that is so. Or they just dont care and didnt bother.
The pre amp and amp are not straight on the display!

Басовики на колонках даже при средней громкости " хлебают" воздух - либо контроль усилителя слабый, либо обрез по низам в кроссе низковат. Низкий бас у Кабасс традиционно исполняют сабы, а вот в колонке возможно обреза нет по нижнему басу. Вот и "хлебают".

this is not cabasse, it'a an awfully harsh on heights esoteric. Can't understand why they still produce their BS equipment. Monstrous, pricey and trashy. Only 70+ year old ppl will take this bcs of hearing degradation. yes, Im actually pissed off how bad this equipment is.

Wheres the bass
Smugness is the biggest down fall of these videos. When it comes down the book self speakers and their frequency response, I have these ones beat on the highs and lows. I think the only thing better about those book shelf speakers is that they look so nice. So why can't they be so cool as to do 15 to 30000hrtz? Why are they so big? There is no innovation here. This video was a waste of a click.

I don't make videos because I value my privacy. As far as what's hooked up in front of me today, two UA 600 series boxes. In side of those are 2 PV 15" full range speakers, the stock 4" mid, and a 4" Technics tweeter. The mids and PV's have the ferromagnetic fluid to protect the coils form heat. The tweeter is crossed over to around 10,000 hrtz to protect it. What I have in front of me hooked up changes almost every day. But, ya, no I don't really want to make videos.
