Several million years of war they're completely desensitized to killing each other. Wherever they go they bring war. Optimus fights to maintain status quo so autobots are stranded on Earth with no resources or energon. Even Megatron mentions that Sam may know where energon can be found and follows with "Is one single life not worth the future of our race". Of course it's not OK for Sam to die for this, but it's a point where two factions could come for some kind of peace. As Dark Of The Moon shows, Megatron isn't this cartoonish evil monster, we see him having normal conversations with humans, and when it benefits him he actually works with autobots. Many decepticons follow him because they know no better. But Jetfire, one of the oldest decepticons turned autobot shows that any of them is capable of change. But they just see murderous Prime taking faces off. Because of their arrogance both parties achieved NOTHING. And whatever bs happens in last two movies.
Revenge of the Fallen is one of my favorite films of all time. Another Vfx mindblower. I honestly can’t think of many villains as seething as Megatron and The Fallen are in this movie. It is so badass. The action is so badass; it’s perfectly done. An action masterpiece for me but it is slightly marred by the juvenile humor at points. But when it gets dark and cool, it gets dark and cool. Love it.
I loved this movie. I also loved skids and mudflap and I'm getting their unique toys figures.
Those two figures are totally on my list as well

I love ROTF, the Constructicons and Devastator designs are so alien like and unique. After almost 20 years we finally got proper toys/ figures in that of the Studio Series, Devil Saviour and the MT oversized Studio Series.
I personally enjoyed revenge of the fallen even with its poor sense of humor. Yeah sure the comedy is a bit rough and the plot isn't really digged deep since this franchise has a lot of plot holes but the action and story for this sequel made it enjoyable to watch. Don't forget that this was 2009 so it's gonna give those late 2000 vibes with its bad writing and college cliche. But for me I would def watch this movie again due to it being enjoyable to watch.

Cut out every scene with Shia lebuff and the movie isn’t bad. Megan fox can’t act for squat but at least dauuuuuumn! Nice to look at makes up for that lol.

Thankfully they improved with Dark of the Moon, somewhat (still hate that they screwed up Shockwave). If only they ended there...

Dude you’re beating a dead bush at this point. Stop following what everyone else says about these movies and have your own fucking opinion for once, these movies (apart from 4 and 5) are fucking amazing. The writing gets slack for no reason, its good, yall just like to hate on shit just for the sake of hating.
Dude transformers is pretty much my favorite series of all time. Sure I give my fair share of criticism to this one but I do state things I do like about this film like the forest scene and John turturros performance. No matter how much jokes I make I aim to make a fair review which I feel like have for this movie.
