I watched a video from a guy that had a little one car garage wood shop with the bare minimum power. I think it was a single 15 amp circuit. He had what I consider the best cheat for this type of situation and it may work for you. He had one of those so-called solar generator/emergency power supply units (lithium battery pack and an inverter) which could absorb the hit of the startup current to keep from tripping a breaker every time his compressor kicked on.
Those name brand packaged units are stupid money but I think a clever guy could put one together for probably half the cost. It might not have the pretty box but it would serve the same purpose.
As far as the background noise, I can understand how it might be distracting to you when you are making videos but it honestly doesn't bother me.
