I had ta similar issue until I figured out if I jam my index finger in between the area of my ear and jaw, I can unlock it myself. I should not have let my jaw try to lessen the impact of falling on the sidewalk I guess.

This exaxt thing happened to me with an adverse reaction to a medication in the hospital. My jaw wanted to keep opening and opening wider like i could break my own jaw.. it was horrible

U should get checked out for TMJ. Ppl with TMJ are more prone to lock jaw
