"literally"
I like how his spider sense was discovered in this version. Spiders sense their surroundings and sense other creatures nearby via vibrations sensitive hairs that’s attached all over their bodies and their limbs.
স্পাইডারম্যান
@@abcdefghijabcdefghij8050 ইস্পাইডাএর্ম্যান
That easily explains his senses, but his "Spidey-Sense" has famously bordered on precognition (his "sense" is going off just because there's a dude that wants to throw a knife at him in the room, person doesn't just need to be winding up to throw the knife to make it go off, but there will be a spike in "sense" between "ok, there is danger here," and *"OK,* danger starts now!!!")
I really like the thought behind Spider-Man being a herald to Madame Webb, much like Silver Surfer was the chosen herald of Galactus.
Yes, Peter got powers from the bite, but he _survives_ the bite in the first place because of Madame Webb, and his "Spidey-sense" is another of her gifts to him, as her agent/protector of the web-like multiverse, and her place as the caretaker of it (not imposing order, but structure, so it doesn't collapse on itself. Plucking out burning strings before they can light the whole thing ablaze, and sending Spider-People's in to hopefully stop it before it can catch fire)
In furtherance of this idea, her herald would be out for two reasons. Protect the multiverse, and give her more webs to spin by saving people who would have otherwise met their end had Spider-Man's "spidey-sense" not activated for somebody *not himself!* Had he not been present in the first place.
Madam Web is a creature of chaos (can be good, can be bad), and Spider-Man is her agent in this, across all multiverses. Makes sense that, by the very nature of chaos, Spider-People's come in all different shapes and sizes, genders and races.
Makes even more sense that Madam Webb would be butting heads with some type of similar manifestation of "Order" and that _their_ agent (with gloriously few exceptions) would always start out as the same flat topped, Hitler-moustachioed, clean cut newspapers mogul trying to turn New York/the world at large against Spider-Man.....
i find that really weird, how he doesn't notice the heavy glass bottle bein placed on his forehead, but he feels the tiny water drop that rolls down its side and plops onto his nose

4:15 will always be my favorite part of his power discovery
Same! 😂👍
He fucking demolish it and it still on
Spiderman can lift 10s of tons I believe, at least. You would think that having that much disproportional strength would make you just crush most normal objects you touch, yet almost zero comics characters have this problem. I like how they show what would actually happen.
Most comics characters tend to be depicted some time after they've learned to handle normal objects. The DCAU had a great line about it from Superman -- "I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard." And when Otto Octavius took over Peter's body as "The Superior Spider-Man," he discovered just how much Peter holds back.
Ah. You mean the jaw punching off.
a lot of comic book characters have this problem in the beginning. But they learn to control it
Humans already are capable of immense strength. The problem isn't getting the strength, it's adjusting to it.
Humans have the power to snap the neck of small animals with relative ease - humans still pet cats daily. The adjustment of power output is so ingrained in us that babies do it. It is only adjusting to it and that can take as little as one attempt.
when Peter climbed a wall for the first time in the comics, he ended up accidentally crushing one of those weird metal rod things that roofs have by grabbing it with his bare hands. i think thats how peter learned that "ah okay, gotta calm it with my strength"
Of all the Spider-man movies, this has to be the actual best storyline that really highlights Peter's intelligence and personal involvement with his future nemesis. Unlike others where they're all, "Peter I've been a father to you, be a son to me now." It's like, when dude....oh yeah, you talked to me at the field trip that one time.
Well to be fair the Goblin was just trying to catch Peter off guard to kill him with the glider, because at the time Peter didn't know it was Norman Osborn who was the Goblin so he was in a state of disbelief that his best friend's dad was a supervillain.
@@milicenty But he was something of a scientist himself.
Exactly it was such a well written script and was entertaining imo idk why the movie failed both critically and commercially
I love how throughout the years they've nailed the adaptations of not only Peter, but May and Ben. Sure they aren't all the same character-wise, but the variety and the quality in each of them is why I love the Spiderman movies, especially the older ones.
Literally the funniest fight scene ever. My guys just saying ‘no dude please not my board’ as he casually just raises his arm to block

@@rebelk8985 well.. too good looking,, I agree.
"Not nerdy".. I think its even make more sense u know.. spiderman with his agility, fighting skills, flexibility, his antics, his desire to look cool and his intelligence..
I mean there's no way a nerdy who has great strength suddenly can do acrobatics, fighting skills, and other nonsense, while all he did before was just reading a book and ejaculating while imagining his crush.
I mean it won't change his personality, its not venom.. It just gives him great power. he would just be a nerd with great strength and meager fighting skills.

tobey : oh cool superpowers!
andrew : am i in a horror movies?
Yeah. I could imagine that having Spider-Man's powers would be cool, but at first...trying to control your powers would be a huge pain. I could just imagine accidentally destroying things like this Peter did with the huge amount of strength you'd suddenly have.
Also, you'd have to control your temper too. You know how at times you can find yourself angry and you just slam a door shut, or throw something to the ground/across the room? Imagine doing that with this strength...you'd send the door flying, along with the wall around the door probably, or destroy the thing you threw, likely causing some damage to the wall or ground you threw it at. I'd hate to have that angry kind of moment when your strength is this strong.
The part of Spider-Man's powers I'd love to have most is the Spider Sense. Just knowing that something bad is about to happen, the direction it's coming from, and how to act to avoid/prevent it would be cool. The down side to that ability would be like that one moment in one of Tom's movies when he is in his house with several villains around him. Having the warning 1-2 minutes before it happens and you have that major feeling of anxiety...ugh.
The strength would be the scariest part, because of how careful you'd have to be with everything. You wouldn't want to act out in any kind of anger because you'd easily destroy something or kill someone with no real effort.
After seeing him in No Way Home, I couldn’t help but rewatch this movie, and it’s better than I remembered

Despite all of the hate and controversies put on his version, Andrew was born to play the role of Spider-Man.
I agree
There are versions of Peter Parker in the comics where he's one of the greatest scientific minds on Earth, up there with Richards, Stark, von Doom... I think they were headed down that road with this movie version.
yep considering that he increasingly improved the web shooters by making his own resources instead of oscorps from the 1st movie i believe
I've have seen all tv versions of Peter Parker and even though Tobey's Peter Parker is the one I recognise as Spiderman I can't deny that Andrew's Peter comes closer to the comics Spiderman than any other.

Curt Connery is just an extraordinary character, man, I love, absolutely love Rhys’ portrayal and how Mark Webb wrote him here. He just seems so tangible, so like-able, and imperfect, like all of us. He, to me, feels like a genuine person that I’ve imagined walking by and next to atop a sidewalk in NY. If all or most of the deleted scenes for The Amazing Spider-Man were complete (with the vfx, cgi, etc) and all of the extra scenes shot with or of Conners and the Lizard, mainly if not only conners though, he might potentially be my favorite “villain” out of all the ones we’ve seen in live action.

I don't like comparing Spider-Men, because all three of them are great in their own ways. But I will.
Tobey's scenes where he discovers his powers are fun and timeless, but I prefer Andrew's portrayal of becoming Spider-Man. I'm not saying all Spider-Men need to go through horror episodes when their powers kick in, but I feel like the stuff Andrew went through is how the majority of us would feel if we discovered we had them. Tobey becoming Spidey is accurate to how things would play out in a comic book, whereas Andrew's performance is more accurate to real life. And things work for them that way because their differing personas support their respective portrayals.
