Tip: after installing windows, make sure to select hdd to prioritise boot from bios, if it's still on usb then you'll see windows setup again and again

@@worthlessbeing3692 it's probably because your boot type is set to secure boot instead of legacy. Secure boot won't allow installs from any external drives.
Zombie Wizard I found it out I have an acer notebook apparently you have to press F12 for a separate bios for a external bootable devices

I need help. My bios doesnt have the f12 option. I cant enable it or disable it because it's not there.
@@SIlentZedrikMusic Dont jump to bios. Simply press the f9 key for boot options. Then select the usb option, follow onscreen instructions from there on.

@@yourcitymate656 nothing. It just booted up normally. I'm using a netbook which is a "Neo" notebook. It was said that my notebook is recycled and had different parts from other computers.

I had Windows 7 on laptop and installed Windows 10 on the same laptop. Made a USB flash drive like this video shows. It may take few tries and it works. Ask someone who knows more if you get stuck anywhere. Good luck!

Somehow my HP laptop booted into the cmd. I tried so many different methods and tools but came back to Rufus.
Then I tried holding the shift key while turning on the laptop and boom! the installer appeared.

An absolute lifesaver. My laptop was at the point of no return and this helped! It was actually a much shorter process since BIOS is so much more simplified on my device and all I had to do was select a specific boot option (the new one that appeared) and BAM! Worked like a charm.
I had to unplug my USB before it restarted at the end though, or it'd force loop.
What boot option?
My laptop was updating then I turned it off... Now I can only open bios, I can't restore to previous or restore to factory settings

I was trying to re-install windows 10 on my Asus based desktop so I could spoof my HWID's for fortnite and I was stuck in BIOS mode and it was literally at no point of returning to regular, so I used my mom's mac and used parallels and boom I have my pc back finally, thanks to this life saving madman...

@@IronMan-vh1yo It's rewritable, why it shouldn't be good? Sometimes when it acts up, you reformat it and it works OK. Just NEVER use it for backup, they are NOT that reliable.

You have made this hard work. Put the new/formatted USB/DVD in it's drive and just download the 'Windows Tool' straight onto it. Just select correct download path (USB/DVD) it's as simple as that.

thank you so much for this i never thought reformat process is so damn easy with this video. lacking instruction is when the windows installation done and required to restart you must eject your flash drive so that you will not install the windows again and again. keep up the good work sir.

I had lots of trouble during the overall installation of windows 10 there was an error with rufus after that i had a problem in setting up my usb drive as priority boot device
But in the end i solved all my problems so yeah thanks for uploading this video it was very informative

Awesome tutorial. Fragged my hard drive the other day and bought a new ssd, Best Buy guy was telling me it’d be at least $150 for them to reinstall windows. With this video and a helpful friend allowing me to copy windows off his pc I was able to do it completely free. Thanks a bunch man

I assume if i select usb flash drive from the "choose which media to use" portion of setup that i skip rufus program?
there are a lot of problems when you choose that option so i sugest to go with second option

You don't need RUFUS to install Windows 10 or anything else. If you download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft onto a flash drive 8GB or more.

When i removed one of my disk partition that said system in the end and then i made a new one it change from system to primary it does not change like that for you is that something bad if that happens i hope its not please respond man

You need to change the boot drive in BIOS from bootable drive to your hard drive
i only put windows on usb with media creator and it make it bootable without any iso file or rufus

Hi I have a problem, I’ve done your tutorial step by step perfectly however when i insert my USB into my laptop i still get my black screen.
I then went into the BIOS and set my boot priority to my USB
Still didn’t work.
I then disabled secure boot
Still didn’t work.
I’ve tried at least 50 times and it still isn’t working, i’ve been looking for a fix for a couple days not trying everyday
Does anyone know what to do??
