Good ideas, thank you. I stumbled on a good way of freezing thyme last year. I was short on time (haha) so I just grabbed a big handful and put it in a bag in the freezer. Once frozen the leaves just fall off the twigs and I can shake them out of the bag. The flavor seems to be intensified, perhaps they are partly dehydrated by the freezing process.
Tarragon butter with scrambled eggs for breakfast tomorrow. I have a clump growing in back and never used it. Going out to pick a handful now and soften a half stick of butter. Thank you so much for the video !
I’ll be making the herbed butter soon and it was great to see additional ways to preserve herbs! Can you please let me know what is the microphone you use for creating your videos if you use Apple products…content creator here too.
I don’t love the mic I’m using currrently, but it’s an older model. It’s really quiet so needs adjusting quite a bit in editing. it’s a Hotec Wireless and they generally have good reviews, so I’m going to upgrade to a newer one this winter.
Id like to grow more herbs but i never really know how to use them. I grow parsley & basil but that's about it. I love scrambled eggs so ill try it with dry tarragon and if i like it, ill grow fresh next year!
Don’t forget to drop your herb recipes below! Let’s all try some new things and learn together ☺️🪴
Great" no nonsense" video. Thanks for the tips. Now I know what to do with my abundant tarragon. Cheers H
Thanks so much! It’s lovely having that fresh tarragon flavour through the winter.
Great idea. I do this with dill. So easy to pop in a fry pan. Thanks for this video!!
Your welcome! Thanks for watching 😀

Your hair is beautiful

Your welcome! That’s exactly what I will use most of it for ☺️
Great idea 👍 Until now I'm just drying the herbs.
Thanks! i like this method for herbs that tend to lose flavour when dried.

Chervil is another good one, similar to parsley but a bit milder.
Are you using French tarragon or the Mexican variety?
French tarragon, it’s a perennial here. I’ve grown the Mexican one before but it’s an annual, so more work :)
