      Oh at least 20, but I chop it like this every 3-5 years to keep it under control. Since I made this video it’s rooted well and put out 3 new leaves 🌿☺️

      Great idea. I find my seed grown plants are all slightly different, so I choose the most vigorous growers with the best flowers to take cuttings, that way they will be exactly the same 🌿🌿

    I think your persistent weed is just violets. It’s pretty, purple usually but I’ve also seen in white and plum. I let mine be a ground cover. But you can mow the heart shaped leaves down and they always come back from a rhizomes root.

      I found it at a small local market. It’s commonly found wherever you see commercially grown herb transplants. Most nurseries should have it 🌱🌱 And yes, a few leaves would do the trick just like that.

      You definitely could, yes. Just make sure they are fully dry before sealing them into a container to prevent mold.

    I would use the shady spot for a patio seating area, potentially adding a heat source and market lights for evening enjoyment. This is your home, and a backyard space for relaxing and entertaining will make the entire back area appear cohesive and planned that way tee hee :).

      Definitely going ahead with the seating but no heat or lights, the mosquitoes are SO bad here after supper that we aren’t outside much after dark. It will be a lovely shady spot to sit in the afternoon though for sure 👍

    Nicole,i must say this,of all the flower farmer i watched your garden is the only one that i dont see any black fabric liner.and it looks clean and tidy. Amazing❤

      Well thank you! I hate the stuff. There is a bit in between my wood raised beds (under all the wood chips) but that’s only because there was a brand new roll in the shed. I used cardboard everywhere else and prefer to just hand weed my rows. Not planting more than you can handle is also key 😜
