Oh at least 20, but I chop it like this every 3-5 years to keep it under control. Since I made this video it’s rooted well and put out 3 new leaves 🌿☺️

I'm curious. I's there a chance of these "leaves" that are just in water actually growing roots ?
You mean if I left them in water, instead of potting them up? I haven’t tried that myself but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen people do that successfully. Worth a shot!
@@NicolesGardenNS Thank u! i found some leaves (Someone throwed them out like trash, poor things) and i am trying to root them. But i'm uncertain if i should try it on water or directly on soil.
I came into the possession of over 15 massive monstera cuttings. My plan was to sit them in water for a month - but you went straight to soil? I want to do this right as these cuttings are from a plant that must be decades old
I don’t think there is one ‘right’ method, and if you have that many, why not try half in water and half in soil? That’s the best way to compare!! Just make sure the cutting don’t have more than 3 leaves or they may have difficulty sustaining that much foliage while building a strong root system.
