Ties can be of any type. Dependents, property, job, etc. Anything that you are bounded with to come back on time.

Keep on getting denied trv because of my family ties in Canada. That is a very critical situation for me to prove.😔Even I have house and car back home and good financial status still denied, maybe we were paying for someone's fault that they go there and did not come back home. That's unfair😔.. Is it because I am entitled not to work because my husband supports me well financially since 2003 and I just have a leased property I showed as my job and it is not valid?.

can't you just tell the officer you'll stay as long as you're welcome and if they don't want you in their country you go elsewhere ,if my own country was any I would have stayed .

It just seems ridiculous the travel history thing, it's a catch 22 thing; you can't go to a country without having visited another country? How do you get your first travel experience if you need experience to travel? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever
You make more sense than all the stupid counsellors who demand travel history!
i think it's case to case basis. You can travel to countries which does not require entry visas from your own country before applying to these other countries that require travel history.
