This episode has taken large strides over previous episodes, the channel is improving for sure. Card pop ups on screen were nice and big, game was engaging and good interactions, thumbs up
Agreed! The sound quality is what immediately struck me. Everyone is audible, whereas previous episodes I'd have to raise the volume for one player only to reduce it for the next. Much cleaner and uniform this time around.
I agree. Previous episodes had too much conversations, too cluttered and lose focus on the game. I had lost interest until this episode.
i am sure this has been mentioned already, but Ashlen's executions of her sylvan library's ability were slightly incorrect. It doesn't read look at 2 cards before your draw step... it says you draw 2 additional cards. Your "normal" card for turn draw would actually be first, and then you may draw 2 additional cards. Then, out of the 3 draws you've made in total this turn, you put back 0, 1, or 2 cards, and pay 4 life for each of the other 2 cards you kept. In layman's terms its simply: untap, upkeep, "look at the top 3 cards, keep 1 for free, then pay 4 life each for either/both of the others". I know it doesn't really change much or impact the outcome of the game. This is just a minor technicality, but i do feel that it should be known by players choosing to play the card.
I was seeing if anyone mentioned this. As you said I don't think it changed much, but she puts herself at a disadvantage by not seeing all 3!

Loved this episode. I know the background people that are normally in are good for flavor but without them it's much easier to hear and the game advances much better without the side comments distracting everyone or talking over plays.

Quick question, is Ashlen playing Sylvan library the wrong way? Or have I been playing it the wrong way? I always thought Draw 3 (1+2 additional) pay 4 life for every card I keep after 1. Definitely a fun watch so far!
It’s a weird one. The way I play it, I draw 3 and just pay 8 without looking because I’m an agent of chaos 😈🥳🔥

Love the videos, I do have one piece of constructive criticism though. When you show the commanders and cards in general could you keep them on screen for a little longer? (And try not to cover them with names and socials) :) Again some of my favorite videos, you guys have the best banter lol.
Appreciate you Bryan! We’re looking into this. The balance we’re having to strike is the longer the card is up, the longer before we can cut back to the guests. And a lot of folks have expressed having a hard time following the banter without seeing who’s talking. It’s a give and take. You’re definitely heard and we’re trying to find the perfect balance.
If i dont know a card that pops up i just hit pause to read it. I know that’s probably annoying for some people but i dont mind really

Love the game play, only gripe I think was at the beginning when the dragon sleeve add covered part of the board? But it went away pretty quick!
With library you actually draw for turn, draw 2 extra cards at the same time and pick 2 from that to take the damage for. Ashlen was kneecapping herself with it, especially when she was choosing to put a card back then draw it for turn
My Neyith deck was recently rebuild to run Minsc and Boo in the CZ. The ability to throw a giant hamster and draw a literal shit ton of cards is awesome.

19:49 small mistake but Blackneto would have needed to either have 1 colorless floating or untap the mountain he tapped for Kogla. Since he untapped the dual land he no longer had the 3 green mana to play Kogla. Nothing important happened because of it luckily.
When a creature fights, they both deal damage to each other so she could’ve pumped her creature in return to kill joes
Also Foe Razer Regent would have died when he fought her commander due to deathtouch.

Loved the episode. Commander decks need more boardwipes! I've played so many games lately where boardwipes saved my ass or someone won because no one wiped the board 😅

Interesting to play the Itlamoc on a turn it won’t immediately flip. The others should have been laser focussed on destroying the creeping Gaea’s cradle on the table

Little wonky on the sylvan trigger. You get to look at the extra two along with your draw, And utopia sprawl has to enchant a forest.

To be fair the plains was a forest due to Lua's land, would have been a good strip mine target to get both of them.
While I appreciate and probably prefer from a viewer stand point only the four players being in the video because you can focus on the game more, I also love the background people because that’s when it feels more like friends chillin at the lgs or something. Either way great episodes and keep it up.
Utopia Sprawl can only enchant a forest... Ash making some big early misplays. Sylvan also resolved incorrectly. Great pod though. Haven't finished the episode but the spice is cranking early

Question Mr. Neto and Company. How do you film your Top down Shot with all the 4 playmats?
We’ve got a Panasonic GH5 w the Panasonic Leica 12-35mm f2.8 lens up top. 9/10 times we find a beam or something to clamp it to. For this episode we had boom it in with a stand and an extra C arm. Really leaned on the dual in-camera/ in-lens stabilization. Also, we shoot it a little wider than we need in case we need to stabilize the image in post more.

pretty sure deflecting swat targets, so if Terror of the peaks had pro red, you couldn't target it, so you should have paid 3 life to target the terror, because you cast a spell that targeted the terror of the peaks.
