Apple Original Films unveils “Killers of the Flower Moon” key art, and sets simultaneous global theatrical release for Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated feature film.
On the heels of its celebrated debut at the Cannes Film Festival, “Killers of the Flower Moon” will play wide in theaters OCTOBER 18, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, ahead of its debut on Apple TV+
Apple Original Films today unveiled the key art for Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated “Killers of the Flower Moon,” and announced that the film will open wide, simultaneously in theaters around the world, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, on Friday, October 20. Following its global theatrical run, the film will debut on Apple TV+. Starring a cast led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone, the film premiered earlier this year at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it was met with broad critical acclaim and an extended standing ovation.
The wide theatrical release of “Killers of the Flower Moon” will also include IMAX® theatres, for which the film will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
Directed by Scorsese and written for the screen by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book of the same name, “Killers of the Flower Moon” is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion and Tantoo Cardinal.
Hailing from Apple Studios, “Killers of the Flower Moon” was produced alongside Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions and Appian Way. Producers are Scorsese, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Daniel Lupi, with DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bower, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer and Niels Juul serving as executive producers. - Zábava
The first dialogue puts all the theme , plot and subtext of the film together in this trailer ❤
My colour
Yeah dude so deep and introspective. Wow.
As a Native, I am going to the theater to see this and sit 3 and a half hours entirely ! It will be amazing!Shoutouts to The Halluci Nation !
It looks like a masterpiece already
That's not new for Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. I wish from my heart that this movie will be the second Oscar win for DiCaprio because he deserves more as an actor.
The book is like a True crime detective Noir story fascinating
This could be Scorsese's best film yet, you can just feel by watching this and the teaser trailer that he put his heart and soul into this one. If this is a Farewell then Scorsese is going out in a bang! Hopefully he gets Nominated for Best Director because seriously just by looking at these two trailers I can already tell this film is a Masterpiece, DiCaprio and De Niro both should get Nominated as well... i can just feel the passion and the epicness of the film.
*Already looking like an Oscar Winner...truly a tragic tale.*
And I'm the first to say that the song you're hearing is Stadium Pow Wow by the Halluci Nation formerly known as a Tribe Called Red featuring Black Bear...From Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Mohawk, Cayuga, and Nipissing First Nations represent! 😎
Unless Joaquin/Ridley’s Napoleon film just absolutely blows everyone away, Killers is winning the heavy awards come Oscar season.
Oppenheimer
Really excited for this masterpiece🧡, cant wait to see Leo and Robert De Niro together.
COULD you imagine if Daniel Day Lewis played William Hale in this movie - OH MY GOD!!!
It’s already shaping up to be a masterpiece but what is ultimately going to solidify it for the ages isn’t just the story or the plot, writing, cinematography, editing which will be top notch, but for the simple fact that it’s Scorsese first time having his two main career actors in DeNiro and DiCaprio working in one of his films for the first time ever. That alone is elevating the picture by itself because it’s giving you the sense that this is truly something special happening, even if the film was mediocre that would elevate it to a good film, the fact that this film is already widely been critiqued as anywhere between an amazing, beautifully shot film to a straight up masterpiece, this will raise it to the levels of possibly being a Top 3 Scorsese film ever and also one of if not the best film ever when it comes to depicting a genuine Native American Story.
I hope the Indigenous approve after all Brando even declined his Godfather Oscar because he said he didn't like how they were stigmatized and depicted in film and television. Scorsese consulted with them though throughout so should be pristine though still an obvious tragedy.
THIS IS CINEMA.
“History is a merciless judge. It lays bare our tragic blunders and foolish missteps and exposes our most intimate secrets, wielding the power of hindsight like an arrogant detective who seems to know the end of the mystery from the outset.” - from the book.
Is the book really worth ??

That Haluci Nation- Pow Wow Drum track makes me want to watch this so much more 🔥🔥❤️🔥 I’m so glad they used this track
... looks like another classic piece of filmmaking by one of cinema’s last masters- that, & a sober dose of alternative history- cannae buckin’ wait! sending gidvibes to all...
This looks amazing
Please release it in Indian cinemas 🙏
Do movies have a tendency to not get released in Indian cinemas? That's a strange delineation that's worth knowing more about if that's the case.
@@justinkashtock333 Most movies do get released in Indian cinemas but for this particular movie I don't know bc apple tv hasn't said anything about it's Indian theatrical release date.
Maybe they'll just release it straight to streaming services and no theatrical release.
Highly recommend reading the book.
Halfway through the book right now. It's very good.. I noticed the comments are turned off on the Apple page. I can only imagine why
this is too good, music too good
Real
Film of the year
Leo doesn't even look like Leo anymore - on the plus side he finally looks like a normal guy in his 30's lol
This is tonally different to the first trailer. None the less looking forward to it.
It's a hard sell and cost a lot to make , so need to make it look cool and mainstream.
@@martinturon4799 I was coming to this conclusion. I think the budget is like $200m. The first trailer hasn’t racked up a tonne of views, Apple/Paramount must be panicking lol. Hopefully Leo, Bob and Scorsese are enough to get people interested. Early reviews are stellar.
Can’t wait to watch this when it comes to Apple TV+
Apple is really killing it right now.
with their mediocre products like phones, software, shitty macs, and only sell cuz brand name? agreed
unless they release online too early and disrespect theaters
Leo, Brandon, Robert...Im in!!!
I'm sold 😭😭😭
WOW.....
Here’s my early af predictions for Best Director at the Oscars next year:
1. Martin Scorsese -
Killers of the Flower Moon.
2. Christopher Nolan -
Oppenheimer.
3. Yorgos Lanthimos -
Poor Things.
4. Ridley Scott -
Napoleon.
5. I want to say Greta Gerwig -
Barbie but honestly this one could change and most likely will. The first 4 I feel are almost solid locks at this point however.
Who will Win: Unless Ridley’s Napoleon just rises to the level of say Gladiator or beyond that, I think Scorsese takes it, getting his 2nd Director Oscar (much deserved) or and I know I’m a bit bias, but Yorgos could take it, im excited for Poor Things, the Academy likes him a lot and I could see him winning best director, from the trailers alone you can tell it looks very unique with his style that he used in The Favourite. Either way I’d honestly be happy with any of the 5 I mentioned winning best director but my guy tells me Scorsese, then Ridley then Yorgos. Love Nolan but he’s a filler this year.
This is so much better ! Even though the first teaser was awesome 👍 can't wait ! This is cinema
It’s a good trailer but I kind of preferred the first one
The Next Oscar Winner....🎉
Already a masterpiece
My Colour..
It's Just Outstanding 🔥
So deep.
Scorsese is one of the true goats
If you say so Hoss....
My God ❤❤❤
This Is Cinema
They outsmarted everybody by having oil on their land
Bold choice to take an action oriented approach with the trailer considering the violence will probably be spread out in bursts throughout its 3.5 hr runtime, but it looks interesting enough
Fuck me this looks spectacular.
Killer BGM
This is already Oscar worthy
🥵💥
finally looks like something worth watching in theaters; movies have been trash this year
DeZero
I’m second cause it’s the best
Anyone thinking Scorsese is just phoning it in lately is nuts.
Did you see that seen in the Irishman where 78 year old DeNiro is trying to beat up a guy but looking like a decrepit 78 year old while doing it?
I don't think a single person would think something that crazy lol
3.5 hour movie....gonna be great....long as people sip on their drinks lol
I thought Leonardo is FBI agent from the teaser, Surprise!!
masterpiece
Shutter Island
Wolf of Wall Street
Django Unchained
Killers of the Flower Moon
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Don't forget the Departed and Django unchained is directed by Tarantino not Scorsese.
@@mohamedfawzy5843 the movie names which I have mentioned are all belongs to Leonard DiCaprio where he have acted. I am his big fan.
But as far as I am remembered The Departed was directed by Scorsese. Nevertheless it was also a masterpiece
@@subhradeepghosh7209 DiCaprio and Tom Cruise are the only actors that rarely disappoints in their movies.
@@mohamedfawzy5843 yes we are all grown up watching their movies. Also waiting for MI
@@mohamedfawzy5843😂😂 departed is directed by Scorsese
The Halluci Nation - R.E.D.
For anyone wondering what the music is.
Cool Red Dead Redemption 3 Trailer 😍🤠
The Oscar will go to Leonardo DiCaprio.
I never enjoyed an trailer like this
A 1080p letterboxed trailer?? Come on Paramount/Apple, this movie deserves better.
Story Resembles to the Indian Movie Vietnam Colony 😅
The last masterful filmmaker. When he does sadly pass away, cinema dies with him.
Don't be ridiculous.
Are you kidding?
The trailer needs less Robert DeNiro and more Brendan Fraser!
Republicans really don't like being reminded that this country ain't there's either! Lmao
Let’s be real, the first trailer sucked because it didn’t give any real indication of plot or story - this though…THIS looks like a masterpiece.
look's boring! Sorry to say that - I'm a huge fan of Scorsese's work, but he didn't do a good film since "Wolf of Wall Street" - I think he's too old now and he's done...
I don't even know what this is but I'm first.
I’m sure you could take a wild guess what this is, it’s not like it’s some low budget weird indie film with an unknown cast. It’s literally one of the biggest films of the year 😂
@@chris7_uyahshgs981 i only pay attention to movies im gonna watch
This movie looks incredibly mid
Leonardo DiCaprio is the most overrated actor of the last quarter century.
Look at the views🤣🤣 nobody gonna watch this movie .. Scorsese is finished
No, scorsese isn't finished. It's your knowledge and sense of art for cinema which is finished. And to be a real cinema it doesn't need viewership like avengers.
I wonder if you realize this film is mainly produced by Apple TV and the trailer on Apple TV has over a million views already in a few hours while the teaser is at over 7 million views.
mehhhh... I'll pass. I'd much rather see Sound of Freedom.
This is a really weird music to put in a trailer like this lmao.
