After losing the original footage I took departing the dock in Southampton (!) I get a sage reminder from a pod of Icelandic whales that things are often better than you think if you just take a moment to look around and enjoy the little things in life!
Some thoughts on leaving the UK and opting to take a trickier navigational passage to the East of the UK rather than a hard beat to the West. Discussion as I hoist sails, plan a passage through the busiest stretch of water in the world and … make dinner.

1:16 "...whenever you think something's going terribly wrong..." something else is going terribly right. You needed something restorative and real to remind you there are things more important than video clips, and those beautiful creatures showed up to point it out. I've been looking for a gimbal just like that, as I have one of those stoves that I use for camping. Is the gimbal custom?
it’s the gimbal made by Origo for their alcohol stoves :)
can you get a microphone with the fuzzy cover that will stop the wind noise?
On it!! This is the Go Pro recording- but I get wise to this issue in the end and start recording everything via a headset directly into my phone only a little while later in the journey!
If you don't write anything else to that SD card, you can un-delete the file.
