Cute little car but just neglected and consumed by nature. But the heart of this car, the engine, definitely has the will to live! I would love to have this engine put into another car where it will still be used after refurbishment. Congratulations to the Japanese engineers for such technical thought in those days. Thank you for saving cars and engines like the ones in the video. Thank you Flexiny :)
My mom used to own two of these, first a 1,6 in 1991 and after that a GTI in 1993 I think. I owned a Sunny GTI at that time with the exact same engine. Great cars, they don't make them like this anymore. Sad to see this one unrestorable but hearing it running was a nostalgic moment. Thanks for that.
Greetings, it seems incredible that after the state the car is in, the engine and some elements of the car still work. Incredible. This shows that it had good quality components that stood the test of time.
I drive old Nissan's And one thing never fails is engine electronics or any lights apart from some headlights from time to time. But you have to fight against Water in the wrong places in order to prevent rust.
Big love from Portugal,i like so much your videos and your work. Amazing 16 years and the engine runs like a champ, gotta love Japanese engines, feels bad for the chassis, what a great little car,so nostalgic. Keep it up the great work. Big thanks for all the great videos you guys make !!! 👍👍👍
If I could, I would like this video twice! Great job at getting that derelict running again. Sooo much rust, and the mossy interior is such a nice touch... That must of been one of your top ten worst condition cars that you got running...
Nissan 100 nx sitting sixteen years test drive busted window needs replaced wheels and tires battery very cold outside lots of snow stick shift full detail inside and out can't kill Nissan vehicle last forever and ever awesome video friend bless you best mechanic in the world
I have this exact engine + turbo in my Bluebird U13 SSS 8000 km from where I am now. It was left in my home country close to 4 years (thanks to Covid-19) and I was only able to fly back last Nov 2022. Mind you, the car sat without anyone looking or cleaning for it at my apartment. I left it in early 2019 with battery removed and one ignition coil taken out. Luckily it was parked undercover so nature did not manage to destroy anything body-wise. I did a coolant flush, new battery, fresh fuel and by 5th crank it runs! The starter was clicking hard first few tries (not cranking) but after a while it cranked and drove it to pump up the tyres, refuel and off I went. Eyes were glued on temp gauge though in case of blockage but it was fine. Now sitting still again until May when I return for another trip home!
When you did the first walk round I thought absolutely no way this one's gona run. but you put some lipstick on the pig and she ran! and it sounded pretty good. Absolutely well done on this one great videos as always
all i could think when you was pulling it up the ramp was the car wanted to turn into a JDM car....spayed wheels........ tick 🤣 great video as usual guys!
Reckon the paintwork is the only thing stopping it disappearing into a cloud of dust. A shame as I like these little Nissans. Good old SR20, took a bit of persuasion but it fired back up again. Tough little engines. Hopefully it’ll be saved and used as a donor engine in something.
In rust we trust :) Unfortunately it's the biggest issue with elder japanese cars. I had Primera -93 with the same 2.0 16V engine many years ago, it ran pretty well. 100 NX is even smaller and lighter so it must be good acceleration.
I have primera wagon and 100nx. Both with sr20de engines. 100nx accelerates much faster. It's a small rocket, it even spins both wheels in 4th gear on the wet road
I've seen a 100NX 1.6 for sale in my area. Great clip! I am curious what are you guys going to do with that car... i mean, the engine looks and sounds like it could be reused... maybe some other parts too, but the shell is very rusty.
Never seen one of those... Looks cool, pretty posh for its time too... Has a a very big resemblance to same era Mazda MX3 if im not mistaken... Too bad its so gone... What are the plans for this one?

I love this channel. Just starting old cars without unnecessary talk, ads, asking for likes. Great camera shots and editing. A feast for the eyes.
I would love to see these cars not sitting for its death like this one

Sweet little engine ignoring the devastation around it. Probably the most impressive starting video yet! I hope the engine lives on in another car.
Same Here! The engine can be reused in definitely!

yea its to far gone. but you might able to reuse the engine for something.
I see a 100nx, I click.
I love these things and I'm saddened that they're getting rarer every day.
Awesome how the electrics work inside still
Contrary to BMW’s biodegradable wiring harnesses
@@Tenkaichibudokai22 BMW never had biodegradable wiring, it was Mercedes that had it in the 90's
Nissan and Mazda: everlasting mechanics and electronics, biodegradable body
They went green ages ago with those biodegradable 😂
Thats true
Minor rust there, half of the floor left behind, no worries engine runs and valve pushrod knockin',, flexiny got fixed, great work as usual guys!

Amazing it still has spark after all that time.
They sold those in the US as the NX2000. I test drove one when they were new, it was a cool little car! Haven't seen one in years.
There’s a NX 2000 in my area, I see it a few times a month.
They also had a nx1600
Great to see that this car will still run, despite its poor condition. Good video!
He doesnt drive the Car, this is impossible, I think. He just starts the car.
Was waiting for this, saw it in the background of the previous videos 😉

Loved watching this video. Just shows that older japanese engines were build differently

Nice seeing more videos on this car. I have one for a first car and it’s nice seeing what people do to them online
swapping the engine is the best option here economically but i would love to see this car back on the road even if its this rough
Also need to swap chassis, both subframes, suspension and interior 😅

Old Japanese gasoline engines never die! Very strong and reliable!
Because of proper build quality and synthetic oil requirements. 😊
Всё в труху, но легенда гласит, если есть синяя изолента... :)

Hi, thanks!

Looks like there is some metal between the rust?
