Hey man, nice review. I ordered 4 of them on pre-order because I think they are going to be pretty valuable down the road.
My only gripe (and its a very minor one because there is a workaround for it) is they didn't include a fortune card dispenser shutoff switch where you could have the cards loaded but not dispense. Of course, all you need to do is to unload the card roll, and it's the same thing. But it would have been awesome to have the cards loaded and have independent dispenser control. Again, minor, minor, gripe, but given how complex this thing ended up being, I get why they couldn't spend a single penny more on its production.
I got mine when they were $80 each, and I'm really impressed. New Wave honored that price and didn't try and claw back for more money.

Idk but not sure what everyone is worried about the tickets they’re made to get your fortune and take the ticket. This is not some rare $3,000 item. It’s a toy. 🤷🏼♂️
One thing about the ticket dispensing function. The instructions tell you to pull the sample ticket forward until the perforations align with the serrated cutter along the bottom of the slot. That way you won't have the tickets stopping halfway out as seen here but trust me, you're not the only customer who skipped the instructions and just wanted to play with the thing right away.
Obviously, you discovered along the way that the machine comes with one roll of tickets already installed, with the loose roll being a spare. The box text could have been clearer about that.
Also, the coin-op feature, not demonstrated here, works perfectly with the included mini-coins. The drop box pulls out from the back for retrieval.

The ticket thing confuses me, if you tear the ticket, can they be reloaded if they’re torn? Because otherwise you can’t read the fortune…
Yes they can be reloaded there's a side door you can open.
They come with two rolls of 55 tickets, once use all of them you can possibly buy more in the future to reload the machine.

@@RedHorseAdventuresTo be honest... think about the question... it takes a ROLL of tickets, and NWT has always said more rolls could be purchased, so... once you start rippin tickets off a roll, IN ANY MACHINE THAT TAKES ROLLS, how the heck would you reload them??? The mechanism feeds tickets off a roll, not from a stack of bent up.and handled loose ripped off tickets, so no.... with a bit of critical thinking... No. Once you rip em off theyre a treasure for whoever ripped it off to enjoy! 😎 Buy more rolls.

The head and eye movement isnt what it should be, i believe...
Yes mine works like it should. Other people got bad ones but mine moves the way it’s suppose to.

I was going to comment on how good yours looks, from the eye movement to the clean straight tassels… you got a really nice one!
@@charlesarnold6812 agreed. I seen some that the head and eyes don’t move it all. Even seen one where Zoltar was actually not even place in the cabinet like he was coming out. Crazy.
