Honestly, expected Ben to randomly show up and be the twist that no one saw coming to be the new manager.
Oh, that would have been great. :D
That would’ve been great
He's recently been employed by the head offices. ;)
@@domihase8148 would’ve been an excellent twist, plus over the next few episodes, we could’ve seen him get revenge on them for all they had done to him at play tech.
That would have been outrageous.
Legend has it that Ben is still waiting at the old store to open while Byron is locked inside still working in the backroom
What about Rob, still being in the back and accepting his new life as an employee.
I wonder if the Janitor from the old store is also there, or will he appear here as well.
I really wanna see this lol.

Byron is the surprise new manager
Alan was positive and supportive, and I was actually rooting for him... then I remembered the Lore.
I dont remember, why is alan in trouble when he gets the black shirt?
@@capitaonicolau I think there is a playlist called "the white shirt saga" that's the lore. Allan also has the black shirt in the first videos.

Ngl both Alan and Britt were so intense that I expected them both to try to take their shirts off to put on the manager t-shirt
Wait what?
I love when she says "technically I think he can", when she sees he is the only acceptable option
Honestly though.
It's crazy how he's the only acceptable option
Adam wasn't actually just simply nervous, he was having flashbacks to wielding the Gold shirt and his time beyond the grave.
It was all a bit much for him

I just forgot how menacing Alan can be whenever he got himself a power beyond his control.
Also, Britt is acting like Sheldon with her rules and regulations here.
He's actually a worse manager than Rowan. A true surprise.
E
@@1Lanavis1Rowan is the lesser of two evils
"can you control it?" "I don't know"
I thought they'd do an episode for each management style. Adam getting ignored, Allan being evil, Britt handing out punishments lawful evil style, Ellie being the most laid back, casual manager ever, then Rowan going crazy with his temporarily restored powers.
That would be awesome!! Especially Alan being the return of the "white shirt Alan"
I see it more like Alan is evil, but mostly to Rowan. Adam is evil to everyone, like in gold t-shirt. Elly is just chill. Britt is two-faced serpent - evil to the guys and cowardly to Rhi. Rowan is mad with power.
And in the end Rowan's dad introduces the real manager - Byron! Or Ben :D
Brit turned int an incredibly boring and irritating GM in D&D. Too many rules make a damn boring game.

The final pay-cut joke on Rowan and the natural smiles of everyone were priceless 😄
E
That pay cut to Rowan was the moment I was waiting for so long but never knew I was waiting for it
I'm sure it was exactly as written, but the way Rhy delivered it gave the feel of being improvised and I hope it was.
I can't be the only one who joined the team in clapping for that last pay cut.

I honestly think Adam is the most talented actor of the group. He can go from hero to pathetic without skipping a beat.

I totally saw this coming, lol
In the past few videos, she was already so consumed with maintaining order, that it actually insulated her from the maddening ambition of the Black Shirt...so we just got more of the same, but with authority
...in the same way that Rowan's massive ego insulated him from the shirt's corruption
That jump cut to Rowan standing shirtless and ready in a superman pose just sent me. 😂
I was really hoping for more honestly. I wish we had seen each one with a few episodes. The storyline for each are endless.
agreed! without even trying, i could probably come up with at least a 5 episode arc for all acting managers. of course, Rowan would be subtly thwarting their plans, leading to him being the "obvious choice"
That moment you realize that Rowan is the only one that would be both competent and isn't the most strict. That... is insane.

I genuinely feel so bad for Adam, because I can partially relate. Not to the point of, y'know, having an 'accident', but I'd probably have a minor panic attack too and shrivel up
The thing with panic attacks is that they eventually become normal, so you will somewhat function while your mind spirals out of control in the background and you slowly lose contact with reality. Self-medication with alcohol, or literally anything else that can temporarily numb the pain and terror, can only slow your inevitable descent into madness up to a point. You will end up with an irregular heart, a failing liver, out of touch with your friends and without even the most basic elements of social interaction as you vaguely remember it. But hey! well the ending was as expected but however was amazingly done and really well sketched!! Amazing work team
Okay, this one is so deep that it deserves an essay despite the fact that it's not even five minutes long 🤣
> Everyone except Rowan put the black shirt over their red shirt, and the black shirt always looked either too big on them (as clearly seen when Adam and Britt were wearing it) or simply just did not belong (it probably fit Alan, but that probably was the reason the camera angle insisted not to show how it actually looked on Alan, so we could say that Alan was drowned in its power while Ellie didn't bother to put it on), implying that none of these four were fit for the role. It's like Cinderella. There is only one size, and it will only perfectly fit one person. Love it.
> Rhi and Britt were just watching in the background when Alan went psycho. They had no idea how crazy these four were. They had no idea what kind of place Playtech was. Techtown was probably a very normal tech store until these four came in 😂
> Adam was reluctant since the start because he had every reason not to believe in himself, plus the PTSD he got from various... incidents, including but not limited to being brought back to life by Rowan and the White Shirt saga. I think Adam at this point was the employee that was just happy to receive proper wage and enough recognition for his work rather than being in power, especially because he got knocked down by customer(s) a lot and had to rely on either Alan or Rowan for it. 😂
> Alan had too much pent-up anger. He descended so quickly into psychosis because he simply wasn't able to control the power he had. He coveted it so much that it consumed him. The one who desires it the most, tormented by it the most. He was like an explosive volcano, just waiting to snap at one point. And like a volcano, he couldn't use the power endlessly, and he couldn't really control it, he just let it go. He could have been a good manager if he hadn't been deeply scarred by Rowan's constant... antics, and the White Shirt. 😂
> Britt was like a very smart child wanting to be considered an adult when she was trying the black shirt. It was too big for her (literally and figuratively). She was smart indeed, but she was overestimating herself and her rules. She punished the first one that spoke against her while trying so hard to butter up to the higher ups in a very childlike manner (very much like a teacher's pet 😂). She was so rigid in her approach and she would not be a good fit because, surprise, surprise, you need some flexibility and reliability as a manager. Rowan might have illogical rules and policies, and constantly failed to communicate about products and services to his employees, but Britt ramped everything up to a whole new level, and she was just a perfect addition. No comedy series is complete without this kind of high strung character in it. Astoundingly unhinged, perfection. She actually shared some characteristics with Rowan including inability to see flaws in their methods.😂
> Ellie did not put the black shirt on because she just wasn't really interested (obviously). She was still upset at Rhi for cutting down her pay. She was playing along to see how far she could push it. She acted as a placeholder for Rowan, her "decrees" were so ridiculous, but actually still within acceptable level for Rowan 😂. Rowan nodded when Ellie shut Rhi up, and Rowan definitely thought the Thunderdome animal fight idea wasn't so bad (Alan looked at Rowan at this moment, probably out of habit, was a nice touch, showing that Alan unconsciously still relied on Rowan to handle this kind of situations, or Alan just hoped that maybe Rowan would finally have the same perspective with him about something for once, in my mind Alan looked like he was trying to tell Rowan that this was not a good idea and Rowan must think about it carefully as always and Rowan had to stop Ellie from realising her vision as the ruler of the lands). It just showed once again that Ellie was Rowan's favourite. Ellie never had any intention to be a manager because why she had to be a manager if she could be just exploiting the loopholes all over again with Rowan in power? She looked happy until Rowan said pay cut to her 😂
> Rowan got rid of the red shirt before putting the black shirt on. The black shirt perfectly fit him. It was his second skin. He might be a tyrant, but he was a tyrant who knew exactly how to use his power. After four showcases filled with some horror and various iNteResTInG attempts of managing, Rowan using his power to make an astute decision right off the bat just showed Rhi that Rowan was indeed the only option she had. For the better or worse, Rowan was the only one competent enough to be a manager out of this bunch. He was also capable of obeying people who had higher positions than his while others wouldn't even let Rhi say anything or do anything during their trials (except Adam, comically poor Adam).
> The visual toward the end where the three former-Playtech-now-Techtown red shirt peasants slowly closed the gap between them and the two Techtown natives was amazing, it feels like it marked the true beginning of Techtown tales. Superb.
And that's, folk, why filmmaking is a complex art and why you should support these guys. Thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
I'm gonna be honest, he's doing pretty good so far. He's decreased spending by quite alot with everyone, including himself, getting paycuts. Such a generous manager.
I expected Adams biker guy persona to shine through out of no where 😂! Alan going full white shirt made me happy!! Rowan listened to the rules of the trial that the acting manager is technically the manager so he took full advantage of the loophole 😂

2:11 of course Alan loses to the allure and power of the manager.
"I'm deadly serious, take off your pants," has no right sounding that menacing.
I gotta say, I didn't know I needed an Angel vs Devil manager situation. This is gonna be a beautiful series. :D
Damn, I was hoping Alan would have escaped the power hungry ways. I really hope Rhi stays as the GM. Really love her on top in these new videos!
I guess Alan was just pushed into controlling it when confronted with the threat of the Karens, but he can't repeat it under every day circumstances...
@@TheRecklessDark yeah, I thought that might have been a symptom of the white shirt's power but I guess he just has manager madness either way 🤔
@@kingofgames1992his reference in here was like Venom when Peter used it powers in OG spider man 3. He gone mad while using it.
3 episodes deep and they are already wearing her character down. I see a snap on the horizon that will be so epic, Thanos will be like, "damn, you go girl!" 😂

Godot damn you - the fact it's absolutly believable after 300 episode of Rowan being a horrible manager he still ends up being the best for the job is amazing xD
To be fair, how would you feel after 300 episodes of being shat on by your "manager" and then getting the power yourself? It must be overwhelming. ;)
And Rowan just feels entitled to it. He's born for the role of shitty manager.
Completely agree
@@Diree Nah, Adam was the best at shitty manager. And Alan is established to be horrible with power.
Sometimes you need a Rowan to handle the Bens or Karens.
@@Shuizid Nah, Adam was a poopy manager
Stellar performance from all. Rowan actually nailed it! 😁
I love the ad you guys did about the Mobile game and I loved how the elf character missed every throw
"Listen up you absolute peasants" is my new favourite phrase. I kinda liked the idea that Brit would refuse to try being manager because she liked being the bosses lacky too much.
I like how these new "bored series" is like a bit of a show now, with an almost continuous story with every video
They've always had continuity
@@Enchurito yeah I know, I'm just saying I'm enjoying the new bored series very well
@@Enchurito Not to this extent, with a single coherent storyline.
@@perlundgren7797they did, e.g the white shirt saga, once this saga starts to cool down I guess we’ll see some random videos here n then possibly featuring Ben and Haymish
Byron is still at playtech waiting for them to come to work. They forgot to tell him about the move.😢
3:38 I knew it she only cares about the money
0:10 That death glare that screams: only I'm allowed to be the goodie two shoes!
Get Adam his motorcycle confidence 😂
Haha with her girlfriend also.
@@kabatas921sorry *what*
The store have to be outdoor for that
adam personality,
at works: 🤓
personal life: 😎
Yeah there needs to be an episode where he comes in as a customer and teach everyone a lesson xD
Beautifully done, loved it! I lost it when Rowen already had his shirt off ready to go
That gave me the biggest laugh of the episode
Great refresh to the series, hope the storytelling to stay as solid as it used to
As a quick refresh it seems like the videos had to be done fast to go on with this series that we all adore as fans
keep rocking
Aw I love Adam so much! He’s so sweet and would make a wonderful manager! Love you guys!
