No, Gordon didn't kick Joe out of his bistro, only out of the kitchen ; but, up in the front, client part of the place, Joe also screwed up there, so maybe the situation could have eventually come to be that Gordon would tell Joe to stay fully out of the whole bistro, to remain owner, but one who stays out of the bistro altogether, at most only having a look-see about book-keeping, to make sure that the bistro would have everything that's needed to make the place work or to operate correctly. Gordon only booted Joe out of the kitchen area and, therefore, work. But Joe also f*cked up out front, not even knowing what the different table numbers were. Joe would be totally better off staying out of the bistro altogether and to be THANKFUL for having staff who will make the place operate well. Instead, Joe went back to his stupidity. Wow, what a loser owner.

      Fun fact:
If you watch Hotel Hell, he ever kicked out 2 spoiled Hotel owners from their own hotel. Those two are sisters and they got the hotel because their dad bought it for them to take responsibility. But, instead, the eldest sister ever gone for 3 months after staying 2 weeks in the hotel while the younger sister is waking up at 3 o'clock at noon and she likes to go to the bar. They're blaming the staffs as the problems because they disrespect them while in fact it's the other way around. The General Manager is hardworking and she stormed off after can't handle those 2 sisters made excuses and blaming people only for Gordon to invite her back. In the end of the day, the 2 sisters finally gives up and get out from the hotel.

Mill Street Bistro in Ohio was relaunched as Maple City Tavern, a family friendly restaurant and the reviews are mostly negative.
In January 2014, Joe from Mill Street Bistro sued Gordon Ramsay's production company for missing items and damage to the restaurant. He settled the claim for £900 compensation.
Mill Street Bistro closed in February 2016 as Joe felt it was the right time to sell up. The restaurant was sold for $140,000 in March 2016. Most of the recent Yelp reviewsprior to closure were 1 star reviews and reviews on Trip Advisor were not much better.

Well, to some extent, your questioning is understandable, but maybe Joe does financially ok with his animal farm, for given the animals that he has, I imagine that he also sells to other restaurants and/or maybe to or through butcher shops. I don't have a clue how much income that can provide to the farmer of the animals used for their meat. F.e., whether the farmer sells to or through butcher shops, these also need to make $$ from providing this service, and it would be the same when selling to or through grocery stores. Of course these businesses must earn revenues from EVERYTHING they sell. Even when they have sales that provide good savings for customers, it is often to just draw in customers to begin with, for many will buy other produce, as well. It isn't always that way, for when I go for food products at marked-down prices, it often is only for this and nothing else ; but, many consumers will also pick up other items that aren't at marked-down prices and which might be higher than what some, if not many, consumers would expect for full-priced produce. It's part of marketing, needing to draw in customers. So, the farmer will get his or her share of the total revenues and, unless selling directly to consumers, must accept that the businesses he or she works through must also earn income. So, Joe will surely make fair revenues from selling the meat of his animals and maybe it is enough to be able to pay to have a restaurant. With Part 1 of these videos about this bistro we got to see some of the animals being raised on the farm, but I didn't learn how many of these that Joe has. If he has enough, then he might well be getting good revenues from this, alone, and I guess that if he needed loans to be able to have the restaurant, then it wouldn't be difficult to get, given that his farm could and I guess likely would be treated as collateral. I don't know if Joe needed loans to be able to start this bistro, but either way, he is at risk of losing more than only the bistro, or so I guess anyway. Spoiled brat, egotistical, stubborn, idiot.

Mill Street Bistro closed in February 2016 as Joe felt it was the right time to sell up. The restaurant was sold for $140,000 in March 2016.

Nino would be one of the nurses. Or a janitor keeping the place clean. Instead of an employee of the month placard in his office it’s pictures of him mopping the floor.

just read this after googling what happened to Mill Street Bistro:
"In a fun bit of trivia, there was also a lawsuit over this episode. Joe Nagy of Mill Street Bistro sued Gordon Ramsay’s production company for missing items and damages to the restaurant.
In Jan. 2014, the lawsuit was settled, with Gordon’s production team paying £900 to Joe for items which went “missing” after filming."
    What a douche! LOL!

Seriously Gordon needs to invest in a bistro - and let every single staff member in this episode work in that bistro! And watch everyone in that town support that bistro over Joes!
