    I know I'm getting older now but this modern YT trend of cutting out every single pause for breath makes videos a barrage on the senses. I can tell this is a fantastic video but the world isn't going to end if people slow down a bit and stop delivering information like a freight train, especially when going from one topic to something vastly different.

    I always find it funny that in most guides, it's just the fact of pointing out menus that some never knew existed in the first place makes some processes way easier and more convenient. One HUGE tip I never knew about until recently, is that you don't have to wait for a month to pass for diplomacy modifiers to take effect. All you have to do is mouse over the relationship value on their diplomatic screen, then the modifiers will appear and will update your relationship value. This tip is huge when time is essential, like securing an alliance right away rather than having to wait.

    Learned a lot, I didn’t even know about that diplomacy tab where you can see what countries are close to wanting an alliance with you 😂 saves a lot of clicking around

    I always check guides and it ends up being a super long tutorial explaining every icon in the game. I already know the basics. I appreciate the "get in and play" mentality while explaining your actions. Thank you for this video!

    Very well made guide! Didn't yawn or fall asleep like the other guides.
    Just got confused how you avoided bringing France into war.
    How to make parliament seat automatic.
    Why'd remove your fort? Why was it useless?

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před měsícem +1

      Ad1. Look at the numbers in the war with France and say that the person who plays EU4 for the first time will win.
      Ad2. By default it is automatic.
      Ad3. Capturing a fort gives you a lot of War Score, so it's better not to let your opponent conquer it.

    I play HOI4, but I suck at it, however I somewhat understand its logic. Anyways, lately I want to play a similar game, but with a different era and mechanics, and EUIV got my attention; I'm thinking on downloading it, but I'm completely lost about the game.

    30:00 I don't get the part about using states and territories with coring. Are you saying it's better to make a state first then core?

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před měsícem +1

      No, after conquest a given province becomes unincorporated territory or not core territory. It is called variously.
      Then you core the provinces so that they do not generate overext.
      Then you can turn such a territory into either a state or a TC.
      states = hard core

    19:00 can you explain why you goes with just 4 units of cavalry, besides money reason

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před 21 dnem

      Usually that's the only reason :P
      It all depends on several factors. Technology group. In this case, the western one.
      This affects the number of pips in units.
      Then the next thing is the cav to infantry ratio, usually 50%.
      However, the infantry suffers a lot of losses, which is why it is often 10% realistically in the army. That is, from 2 to 4 units. THAT there would simply never be more cavalry than infantry.
      An even number, because the cavalry is placed on the flanks and then inflicts greater damage on the enemy.

    Well I tried copying what you did. I found War of the Roses was random and I kept getting random consorts and heirs where I had to savescum back.
    I conquered Ireland but I was 1700 in debt from loans and I kept having rebels popup everywhere. I declared bankruptcy with like 30k rebels popping up and gave up.

    How can I dismantle the hre without diplo ideas? Every time I try I just never have enough relations to get them

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před měsícem

      It's quite easy. Surprisingly, it's easiest to do this in the first 10 years. You take the advisor +1 dip rep, privilege for clergy diplomacy. Then it's standard improvement of relations, alliances or RM etc. Sometimes you can be unlucky and one elector has 2 others as a rival. Then I would reset.

    • @lookasetbella

      You probably didn't watch the movie thoroughly. I am talking about two sets of ideas. The first one to develop is the one you chose. The second one is for pure colonization. I also mention that they can be swapped.
      Personally, I prefer to develop England's rich lands first and then colonize them with better technology.
