In this video I'll be showing you how cna you revive an old UCK Gen1 and turn it into a full-fledged UniFI Controller to setup your home or office network with advanced techniques.
Will setu the UCK fron scratch and then we wil set the Controller. Adopt and Provision an UAP AC LR Access Point to advertise a simple home network.

@@LAMBDAStrategies yup, even if it's years old, the information here is pretty much timeless, considering you're working with ubiquiti after all haha.. but in all seriousness, though i didn't search for all of the tutorials, you're the only video that literally shows on how to setup this EOL cloud key along with the AP from basically 0 (reset everything) to finished configuring it, with all the small steps too, along with good audio and video quality 😄

Hi Dave, what screen were you on when you showed the Cloud Key IP address initially? I'm muddling through to migrate my network from Mac Controller to Cloud Key Gen1
That is simply The IP that the cloud key gets from the DHCP server from either an EdgRouter, or USG, or any other device that handles DHCP so basically that’s just the IP you get when looking at the DHCP leases table on my MikroTik router.
what screen were you on where you picked up the ip address of the device? I'm running the controller on my Mac and need to migrate my site to the Cloud Key. Thanks

What did you do to fix the warning " We have detected that your SD card is missing. Please insert it and reboot"? I just purchased a new Cloud Key and got the same error.
Disable auto backup

why the hell does it say ubnt/ubnt as the password in the documentation when it is "root".
He says upnt but going off the manual it was ubnt/ubnt as the user/pass
