- Matt's Guitar Shop goes and buys an electric guitar from KISS Paul Stanley at one of the biggest rock & metal festivals in the world, the HELLFEST in Clisson, France.
Also Slash and his bandmate Franck Sidoris each acquire a set of Spot replica pickups !

I think its cool you were able to meet him and get a guitar from him directly. However, I remember him citing one of the reasons they had a problem with Vinnie Vincent was that he sold a guitar to a fan for more than what it would cost in a store. Now in 2019 Paul Stanley has been doing the exact same thing!
Just looking at this, I can see that's NOT the cheapy Washburn production model, that is the Custom Shop- made for Paul Stanley, stage guitar. The production model just had plastic dot markers, not real abalone & mother of pearl 3 piece fret markers... I don't think I'd pay $20,000 for it, But it was Paul's & it's easily worth $10,000 for a custom shop model. He got the 1 on 1 time with Paul, he got his case signed, & it'll go up in value.
Gene has been doing this, every concert for years! $10,000.00 for his axe bass every show. Smart business man.

Yeah it may be a custom shop guitar and I get it he is a big fan. But Paul's profit margin on these guitars is ridiculous. I know for a fact Paul pays next to nothing for them if anything at all. So he downs Vinnie for this but it's ok for paul to do it? Questionable is a understatement!

I could understand paul Stanley and God of thunder I was totally lost after that but what a guitar collection he has but can he Rock? I play mine not look at it on a wall mine has a chip and light scratches but it sounds and plays great every day I play it

Back in 77 I left the concert with one of Gene's picks. I had a obstructed view seats, gene handed it to a roadie who gave it to me. One happy 12 / 55 year old right here.

burns yeah, was watching a show from 10 ft away and suddenly was hit in my open eye by something. Asked my buddy he didn't see anything. I took my lighter around the ground and found a guitar pick. Thanks Vivian Cambell during the Holy Diver tour. Law suit never occurred to me. I was happy

All I know is that a teenager growing up in the 70's, Kiss meant the world to me. Bad home life but I had a stereo and Kiss Alive. I put on my headphones every night and was front row. 55 now and some people ask how much longer are you going to play guitar and listen to hard rock. My answer : I don't know when I'm going to die. Always thought Paul had the coolest guitars. Nothing like the cracked mirror Ibanez PS. Paul is so underrated as a guitarist. The TRUE fans know he is a great player. Pull up some video of the Hot in the Shade Tour. Paul and Bruce Kulick jam on some blues with Les Pauls.

Paul is a professional and a fan himself! Having the opportunity in meeting Paul twice in my lifetime, also being 55 and a lifelong fan of Kiss, and this last time on their last tour, was a freaking blast! Seeing them up close and in person with the makeup on, talking to them, even briefly was so surreal, and something I will never forget and for those 5 minutes I was 15 again and in awe, so I totally understand your feelings, NEVER stop being a fan!

I always say everything is worth exactly what someone will pay for it. I had EVH's backup from the 1984 tour for a day- it was a total clunker, but insured at almost $300k- I though Not me, but someone would prob pay that much for it

Why does he need to sell these guitars for alot of money when he makes enough already...i wouldn't want to rip off a fan.
What is considered enough money and how is it a rip off? If you have a willing purchaser and willing seller that agree on a purchase price ...this is free trade. I am blessed to enjoy freedom hopefully you are too. Is eating at a fine restaurant a rip off if you can feed yourself for a fraction of the price? Don't make other people's money your business and you'll live much happier. I don't believe anyone was forced into this transaction and the purchaser seems extremely happy. There was a purchase offer and an acceptance. It's not anyone's business outside of the two parties. Let the CZcamsr audience audit your purchases and determine what is a rip off.....it would not go well. 🙄

A ce que j'ai compris il vend des guitares (modelées par apport à une ancienne guitare à lui) avec lesquelles il a joué au moins une fois sur scène lors de tournées récentes. Donc pour un fan c'est super, c'est clair. Mais ce n'est pas non plus "LA guitare de Paul Stanley avec laquelle il a joué pendant des années."

May I suggest that you try out a Dean select series guitar such as the "Thoroughbred" and the "Z" as I've got both of those and the "V" plus the "ML" are premium instruments for very little money. Even the Dean "79" series are great instruments, I've got a really nice flame maple top Dean Cadillac from the 79 series and it's awesome as well and even less expensive than select series. 👌

Ils devaient en effet passer à Paris mais c’est reporté pour le moment. Et à la fin de la vidéo nous précisons finalement qu’il s’agissait de l’un des derniers concerts français après été mis au courant pendant le festival.
