- Paul Stanley of Kiss ofsigning 5 of the 6 guitars I bought from him. he has played them all the last two legs of the end of the road concert. He played 4 of the 6 last night. The red one, the green one, the rhinestone V, and the other rhinestone V that he broke, were all played by Paul last night at the very last Kiss show ever.!
Gene cried because he saw someone in the crowd drop a nickel but they picked it up.

No one cares as much as we might think. KISS were good, not great. They put on one heck of a show but their music…..its ok.
Ive been a musician for over 25 years. I never felt even the slightest urge to learn even 1 riff from their catalogue. 🤷🏻♂️
Guys like this are the reason guys like Dave Grohl won't sign anything, they want so many autographs and then sell them online, and make a ton of money off someone else's signature.

I have friends who have toured with KISS, and more than one told me that they document the serial numbers on video and on paper. I guess that they could have duplicate serial numbers, but even for KISS, I think that's highly unlikely...

I have a lot of respect for Paul and Gene. They gave generations of artists the best advice anyone in the rock scene could get, 'Don't fall victim to the myth that all rock stars heavily drink and use drugs.'
