I love touring lighthouses so much. That is cool that the architect of this lighthouse also designed a couple of the lighthouses here in North Carolina. And we love the Library of Congress too. Poor Smokey the Cat. I am sure he was scarred for life after getting tossed from the lighthouse. Thanks for sharing the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum with us!

The lighthouse is awesome, and very cool that you can climb up it inside. The cat story is crazy. No wonder the cat ran away after that. ha ha.

Really like the lighthouse, but I'm not sure I would like walking out at the top. I am not the biggest fan of heights.. great view though. Love the cat story also 😂

So cool, we really enjoyed the Currituck lighthouse when we went back in 2016, the boys were so young then, we will need to re visit 😀
Oh my gosh, we have a video about here coming out soon. We didn't go inside the lighthouse, so it was super cool to see your guys' experience. I never knew he was the architect of the North Carolina lighthouse. 😮 I've been there too and loved it! What a talented guy.

We visited the lighthouse last year. We even walked all the way up. Getting out on the walk at the top was a bit scary. But the view was amazing! The museum is nice too.
