Awesome tour of the fort. This reminded me a lot of the fort we just visited in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Similar in design in many ways. Super cool. Looks like you had a great day exploring. Take care and have a wonderful day.

St. Augustine has long been on our bucket list and this fort is one of the biggest reasons why. It is fascinating to learn about all the different types of soldiers who occupied the fort at one time. Looks like a great tour with lots of history to learn along the way. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The fort is amazing. Thanks for the walk around. We stayed just across the road from the fort (St George Inn) on our first visit here. We too enjoyed seeing the fort.

Oh my I haven't been to St. Augustin in so long. There is so much history there and very historical. I never been to Castillo de San Marcos, but it looks pretty interesting to go view.
Hey friends, yeah there is so much to do there!! Especiall7 downtown we ate some yummy food and snacks, we went to a freshly made miniature donut place and omg they were so good, I should have vlogged that lol
We saw this when in St Augustine a year ago. It's pretty cool looking. However, we did not tour it. Maybe one day we'll get back and have time to check it out. Thanks for sharing all the info about it.

What a great fort tour. Reminds me again of the one in Pensacola. They set these gems up in beautiful spots by the ocean. At least the soldiers had great views of nothing else, right. 😂

I am back from Puerto Rico and had family emergency. now I am recovering days of bed-rest...wow stressful for documenting income tax to hand them out our accountant.

Hahah kayak7seas and I have been there. It is such a gem, a must to visit. I believe St Augustine itself has rich historic heritage. You all must have visited. It was one of the lifetime-experience to explore the fort inside out. We kayaked right outside the fort chasing dolphins. Aare your boys afraid of water, kayaking??? I would love to hear from your boys their opinion on Dolphin-tastic. What do you think of insta360 footage ??
