I'll try the body weight on the rim idea. In the shop I've haven't need your method but in the field, it looks really useful. Also, you should talk more about your various lubes.
One of the problems with demo video is that the tires have been repeatedly mounted and dismounted and don't represent the actual nature of tires. That said I'll try everything, he suggested in the video.
Ive used light smidge of dish soap the rest water as long as it doesn't come out gooey and thick its worked for me. Because I've dismounted tires where the tires have gotten sticky and a little harder to pry bite off.
Doing the chinese tires are the worst you have the real deal michelin, good year, Bridgestone, Toyo, Continental ect anything good quality tires mount and dismount like butter.
Yep. I had 4 budget 245/70r17.5's on a trailer today and they almost finished me off. I've done plenty of them but this particular brand were the tightest/stiffest sidewall i've come across.
First off should have add the soapy water all around the rim of the tire front and back, as far as the prying the tire off should have used a bead keeper instead of another bar which made him worry about keeping the bar intact so it doesn't swing back at him and he was taking bigger bites. This bar he was holding down at 9 clock and the bar he was using to bite and remove could have been 1 or even 12 a clock use both bars and walk the bars. Towards the bead keeper and while tire is on the ground.
Sounds weird to you maybe but : What is your pants model or brand please ? I try to buy a workpants here in France wich looks like this but it's quite difficult to find something similar. They all are ugly or too fancy. Thanks. We have those tires ,but on the front end here,as i know it's quite rare on trucks rear ends, but very common on semis trailers contrary to you where you can find two "skinny" tires.
If you had to guess what do you think a 22.5 weigh aired up? I picked up 4 about 10 days ago from flat on the ground and I don't lift much so I'm pretty much still hurtin.
Normally soap water the not so thick or so gooey because gooey soapy water tends to make the tire sticky when it comes to dismounting making it harder, regular watery soapy water.
I did two today and they were nasty, trick to getting them on was to spoon the wheel into the tire while it was laying flat on the ground. Then flip it and it's ez
Charlie Wanger tyres from Donald Trump's China are a lot harder to fit. The bead is too thick and they are difficult to seal. "Charlie Wanger" is joke name too it means don't buy them
Sure is a way to dimount it !!! Good job..tires r hard to change.especially wen u weren't working in a tire tire shop
Anybody who's done these know how hard these fers are😊

We get them from a company called Aramark. I don't know if they supply anything for the public though. Hope this answers you question.
Yes it answers.
Thank you : )
Fernando is correct. That said Walmart sells similar cargo pants by Levi that are black and not dark blue like the Aramark product.
michaelovitch pants brand 😂😂😂
Dickies. Are a good brand of work clothes.

what kind of tire soap do you use?
Normally soap water the not so thick or so gooey because gooey soapy water tends to make the tire sticky when it comes to dismounting making it harder, regular watery soapy water.
What about the steel rims???
