- You Can Consider This The Wrong Way Of Replacing This Heavy Tire.
The Wheel Is Backwards .
Is Not The Safest Way Of Doing It.
Is Just The Fastest.
This Rim Was Supposed to Dismount tire From The Other Side,Too much Body Effort Required On Reverse Side.
This wheel is already damaged otherwise a vise grip shouldn’t be used to mount tire.
Any Ways HAVE FUN!!!!
Do Under Your Own Risk.
Proper Training Required.
Serious Injuries Or Death Can Occur.

My up most respect to this guy man , he makes it look so easy , but it's a lot of years of experience! Incredible job dude seriously 👏
I've been an truck driver for close to 30 yrs now & an owner/operator truck driver for over 10 yrs...it still amazes me at how fast some of the "HIGHLY SKILLED TIRE MEN" are at changing a tire on the side of the road.
I had all 10 tire on my truck truck replaced last year at tire dealership here in Mobile Alabama & the tire man did all 10 tires...dismounting & remounting in less than 2 hours. This guy was AWESOME & FAST!!!
Another talented hard-working dedicated Hispanic! Great job dude.......
you probably dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm you can stream all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend for the last weeks :)
@Ignacio Marlon definitely, been using instaflixxer for years myself :D
five minutes and fifty seconds flat, ( no pun intended there ) job done. Skilled man grafting, respect.
Thats how we change our tractor tires. Nice work
Nice.. work enjoyed the video 👍🏻
#Texas Strong
It's a beautiful thing to watch a person who really knows what they are doing! It's working men like you who are the real backbone of the economy. Great job brother!
bigpappahemi426 wow!!...thank you man 👍
@@MetalSlugs Your welcome! Stay safe out there brother!
Hey man...this is exactly how I used to change ss on the road...some fight ya some don't...I laughed when you charged the blast tank in anticipation and typically it took air without needing it... viewer in Ireland.....👍👍
Awesome job man thats doing it the tough way a lot of body strength involved not to mention the knowledge good one Amigo
Truckinallovaoz Paul H thank you
Much respect for the skillful hardworking man.
Lowell M omg..thank you so much !!! :)
@@drtrucktireservice6672 never use those bars on a unprotected aluminum rim ..the use of vice grips are a no no ....put gloves on your bars and vice grips....no damage to your aluminum rim.. other than that..a ok job
Awesome job!! You really make it look easy
My entire respect to him!!!
This came in handy cause I am not a road service tire technician and I love it specially when you get a company truck
I’ve been a tyre fitter for about 5 years and I start a new job Monday as a commercial tyre fitter... can’t wait ! U made it look easy but I bet it isn’t 😂
I applaud you man - you earn your money - good luck !
I used it every time I could shaves off 10-20 minutes from the job and there was no need to torque the wheel afterwards a valid way off doing it well done
Thank you!!!! :)
LOL awesome job I tried doing that with my motorcycle tire that is no easy job. Also I was sitting here tense trying not to just when the bead popped like a gunshot but it didn’t 👌
Somebody's gotta do it👍 that's what I always say. R-E-S-P-I-C-T as old AL would say.
I use my Knee, no need for Vice grips and shaves off a few min on my time.
Look like the Oakland,Ca. ports maritime st
What kind of air hydraulic bottle jack did you use at this video (or you use generally). Manufacturer and model ?
Very Professional job done.
I love when ppl video me while I'm busting my ass at work 😆🤦🏻♂️
Putting last bead on, place mole grips at 3o clock and lever it on anticlockwise using your knee to push tyre into the well. Plenty of lube and it'll fly on!
Obviously not the first time this guy did this...makes it look easy
Wait was this video done in Houston? I recognize the building in the back
How are tires usually balanced on trucks or trailers ?
I saw some liquid in the old one.
Is there an approved method or products by the government ?
michaelovitch mounting an balancing is completely unregulated, most don't balance trailer tires because nobody cares if the trailer rides smooth. And I hope it stays that way, because if the government was involved that 10 min job would take twice as long and cost three times as much for no reason.
What’s that little handheld tool you clamped on the wheel like it was holding the tire in place? Was that a clamp or vice grips?
Awesome man.
Shohan Romeshana ohh...thank you!!
Have you ever tried to lift a super single hub and tyre out of a wheel box in the back of a semi trailer and then put the flat one back now that's bloody hard in the heat of the Australian summer 😂

lol rough wat damn man that was fast as hell your damn good
locsipocsi1 ohh!! Thank you so much :)
Es todo conpa a echarle chingasos,KEEP ON TRUCK'N
In many ways an on the axle job is easier especially for the outside tires. It's those inside ones that take more time. When your job is busting tires you do it any way you have to, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not. It always never matters.
Done in under 7 minutes. Pretty damn good.
Tandemwings thanks :)
From reading the comments I can see that there are others that believe they can do it easier/quicker/ smarter (whatever), but I've never done it, so was impressed.
Tandemwings lol...btw this is the wheel that is supposed to be dismounted on reverses side...
And yes the standard is way more easy
I am curious, you change tyre air valve (correct Australian spelling) after every new tyre put on. Is that mandatory or just safety experience ?
They do that over here in the US. It's included in any tire service that involves mounting a new tire. They cost almost nothing and help ensure no leaking air.
excelente trabajador muy esforzado, rapido, ojala tuviera al menos 1 trabajador como el.
Hoy es este tiempo es difícil encontrar buenos trabajos así como yo no hay 2. Saludos 🤗
Outstanding
Nice of some of these people to show their ignorance when it comes to doing a job they have never done. The drop center or well as some have called it is the same on both sides of an aluminum wheel so you can take the tire off either side. On a steel wheel the drop center or well is offset to one side and the the tire is supposed to come off that side. The yellow tool was a third hand or called a pineapple, don't know he got it out and didn't use it. It works like the vise grips do, but has a rubber coating to keep from scratching the wheel. I was wondering why he put a drive tire on a trailer too, but sometimes you gotta work with what you have.
Nice .Work .
Unusual place to store your generator, but secure I guess 😂
Good job
Was it ur first day to do it urself or what... TheTireGod is here so have no fear... 8 dismount and mounts with new stem and back on the truck in less 45mins here... And still looking for the one who can beat me in a challenge... But nice work it's a hard a dangerous job respect goes out to u
I am not worthy! He made it look easy!
awesome video I'm sure it was unsafe but as you get better at it you would know the risk understand them and bypass all that there things I've done not safe but I trust my knowledge with the equipment I have know the personality of th equipment like what are they capable of what are there weakest points so that don't come out scratching your head when a problem occurs my concern would be the dual tire setup I'm sure with the same technique it would be twice the time you've done it awesome video by the way and something to look into when a situation is presented in the future i can use this technique thank you for the video
Christopher Rubines wow!!! Yes bypass the danger ..well said !!! Thank you !!
What was the yellow one?
Always wondered how they did it. Cool.
MrLSalazar714 👍
this is so much easier than when the rim is fighting you at the same time the tire is.
Trent Nelson he’ll yeah!!!
@@MetalSlugs 4(_-&-67
First of all you don't clamp a pair of vice grips on an aluminum rim and second you always clean the rim and change the valve garment or the whole valve that's how you get away with cutting corners and coming back with a bead leak or valve leak later on down the road
I would never run super singles. What’s the benefit, other than to the company being able to haul a little more ?
Why didn’t he make a tire balance for the big truck tires?
This is an easy one.....much better than one that has been run flat for many miles and destroyed wheel also....not to mention doing it on the side of the highway at midnight in 10 degree weather. I have many of those.
So cool
But is the bead ripped
does that bead sealer have a pressure relief valve in case you over fill it? idk how you would know when its over full, that shit would freak me out lol
Nizzy10 lol...it has a pressure relief valve only thing missing is the pressure read gage but you get to stomata the pressure by sound and time 👍
Mounted many that way for years
Good J O B 👍
big Ed thank you !!
First time doing one of these?
his guy is good.
nice & easy. Plus got that sale 👍
Always stay near your truck when there fixing tries it could blow . insurance company says
You made that look hard
Hate all these people bothering the man while he is trying to work
OSHA would have a field day here
good job man greetings ,, siempre hay que ayudar a la raza ,
marco antonio campuzano usted es mi compa 👍
marco antonio campuzano para eso venimos aqui, que no?
Stupid question but i know on a car or truck the tires have to be balanced do they on a semi? How do they not have to be? That’s kinda cool they they don’t
In perspective every tire or component that spins needs to be balanced ... however for semi truck dully tires is better to use a balancing bag if you want it balanced.
And super singles ???... I only do road side assistance and have no idea if a balancing machine will handle it 😁
Vertical dismount and mount. Some tire shop doesn’t not recommend that. I work as tire tech.
Don Daluddung actually it’s illegal to not take it off the unit
mi estimado soy de ecuador, como puedo conseguir las palancas para desmontar llantas de camion.
Damn, I'm complaining about the slow leak on my Durango. 🤣🤣🤣
Bravo
He mangled the rims!👍
Good job💪
Ari Nasrulloh thankbupu 😊
Ari Nasrulloh thank you !! Lol
Dismounting and remounting a tire from the wrong side of the rim stretches and damages the bead therefore weakening the tire. If this were a normal dual setup this would have been ok because the drop center of the rim is centered and they can be removed from either side however that is not normally the case with a super single and looks as that wasn't the case with this rim. I can almost guarantee at some point in this tires life there will be issues with the bead or the sidewall near the bead. I do this professionally for a living and the small effort it would have taken to remove the rim from the vehicle is well worth it.
I am glad to see they didn't do the morons bead seating method and use either, I was waiting for that as it would have just been the icing on the cake so to speak.
Lube dude! You’re workin it way too hard.
He's trying to show off.
He is making way harder than it needs to be, by doing it dry!!
He used lube, maybe not a lot but he put some on the old one before he took it off, and you could see it all over the new tire at 3:52.
Yeah at least the rim still good ,I had drivers try to get off the highway and eat the rim up ,if it was duallys ok but not super single s.
good job if the driver doesn't care about the rims, but I care about my rims and would have freaked the hell out. Then again I run the alcoa Dura brights
Where could I find the red spray bottle
Tips leak, get stuck open. Not worth the hassle. Promise!
Old school. He's busted a shit load of tires. That's the way we used to do it. No fancy as truck needed.
I would gladly pay this man $100 dollar an hour.
Was waiting for the wheel digger driver to pull the road plate into the side wall of the other tyre lol he must also be a farmer allergic to grease poor digger
saludos desde new york ,mis respeto
wilmer espino thank you
wilmer espino saludos a Ney York
WOW
Super singles suck props to you brother
Can you do this by yourself I’m thinking to do on my truck
I am tired to wait to change my tires and cost thousand dollars
dangerous work, and suddenly the jack pops up. and why don't you take off the disc? suddenly the tire will sit wrong.
Those super singles to dism/mount 20 sec and air up
Start your tubeless bar at the bottom and work your way up to the top with your spoon bar. You won't have the issue of hitting your bars on the ground. Lube is your friend.
what is the yellow canister for?
These are a pain especially under a load at night on the side of the highway.
wow galing
My equipment is a mess...I got involved in a car accident last year...truck no longer complete
LONEPLAY Classics are you okay right now Sir
try the mole grips at 7 o clock
Will you upload any new videos of you working on tires?
I’ll do in the future... but in the mean time there is a playlist that has like 6 videos . Check it out please
@@MetalSlugs I have seen all of what you have uploaded so far. Great content! Thanks for replying.
Idk if they realize this is a mich xdn2 drive tire not a trailer tire, I have put on alot of tires but never a new drive on the trailer
Tony Mullins Agee!!!
FORZA X TEKKEN yeah man you know how alot of fleet company's are they don't make sense sometimes lol
been there done that, had a single on the front and a Duel in the rear on a Tractor, all we had in stock at the time and the truck was needed in the next hour.
Tony Mullins
The tire shop probably did not have trailer super single tires in stock.
It sounded like the driver already had that tire with him for a spare.
And...it’s a super single, ya don’t need a cheetah.
Hell yeah
Reversed Engeenering.
Andrew K. Couldn’t have say it better 😝and they are back Killers.
Plus a wheel damege wt those bars
His sunglasses didn't even come off his head correction* 6:41
I do this exactly the same way. Usually takes me about 15 minutes though from arrival at the job till the tire is mounted and airing up. Any time that can be saved without having to remove the rim is a good thing TIA approved or not is irrelevant in the real world.
Na I do tires for a living I know people who have worked for my same company and took short cuts and didn’t go home to there kids I take the literal extra 10 mins to take it off the unit and check for cording so I don’t die and who knows maybe sell a wheel and make some more money!
How much you set a super single at.am talking about the psi..
Thank you
