Today's music is lifeless, soulless and cookie cutter bs. Led Zeppelin takes you on a journey. So much emotion and passion in their đ¶. One of the best bands of all-time. These guys were creative geniuses.
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd carry their listeners to other realms... 50 years later, nobody has come close to touching any of them.
This entire album is đ„
YES! So is Presence, and In through the out door. My three favorite Zeppelin albums.
@Vincent Schmitt really?? Did she dig Sabbath, Floyd, Cream, Skynyrd, Allmans? I'm curious what her problem with Zep was. I'm 48 & jus didnt get Zep till I was 20-21, till I got into a acquaintances car, high as kite @ bout 1:30am for a ride home, & 1st thing he did was blast Kashmir, & I heard it ( really heard it) for 1st time & its been true đever since!đ»
@Vincent Schmitt I see, she liked straightforward music, not th psychedelic stuffđ»
My favorite of Led Zepâs albums
Physical graffiti is one of the best albums ever recorded lol
Most bands have 2-3 hits off an album. Led Zeppelin: Every album is hit to hit to hit
B A M 1â
I love seeing footage of the audience in concerts.
Agreed! Best rock band ever.
Iâve said the same thing, out of all their albums there might be a couple that arenât your favorite, but not because theyâre bad. Itâs harder picking your top favorites, because you love so many.
@@sicotshit7068 The nearest competition would be The Police, and because they only had five albums.
I am 61 and It still makes me feel 18 ! Thank you for bringing back my youth wow the wild times !
Me too...I'm 61 as well...always have loved them!
Robert Plant dedicated this to an old girlfriend who, ten years earlier, had made him choose either her or his music. Plant explained this in an interview in 1975:
Let me tell you a little story behind the song "Ten Years Gone" on our new album. I was working my ass off before joining Zeppelin. A lady I really dearly loved said, "Right. It's me or your fans." Not that I had fans, but I said, "I can't stop, I've got to keep going."
TY for that tidbit. This is my one of my top 5 by Zep and I never knew the background. đ”đđ”
Thanks, I had never known what was behind this song. I can never understand how some people claim to love another and then ask them to give up their dreams... that's not love. I would want to do everything I could to support the dreams of someone I loved and would hope they would do the same for me.
@@tangledandfar Love means sacrifice. You work to make each other whole - one alone is not love. You support each other.
Her loss!
Thanks for thr info. I never knew that. I love to hear behind the song stories.
God. They slay so hard. Plantâs voice is unsurpassed in rock.
Spot on Lori !!!
I'd say Page's guitar(s) match the mood, the voice and the lyrics perfectly.
One of the things I love about Led Zeppelin is their ability to convince the listener that Robert Plant has been through what he is singing about. There's an emotion there, a hook that makes you feel like his crying, his singing, his moaning, is genuine. It's brutal at times, but always beautiful. It helps that the vocals are backed by three of the greatest musicians to ever walk the planet. Combined they sound unlike anything else.
"I can't explain" is the perfect explanation!
There are thousands of Zepp fans who feel exactly the same way đ
I think he's a fan now too!
that smile of yours in 2021, was my smile in 1973. love it!
True. Music is about feeling. You are right
He's got a wise soul
What's that old saying "Music is what feelings sound like". At least the good music is..
Ahhh, the memories this evokes. . .Early morning sun coming up after an all night kegger, Zeppelin still playing, bonfire still burning. The 70's were a good time for our country.
The last great decade, IMHO.
Last great decade to be a kid.
You guys pissed it all away lol Young generations are screwed
@@dependentfanatic9684 we were saying that in the 60s and 70s.
@@loushelton1596 I know. It's only getting worse
This song is timeless and one of my favorites of Zep. Always sparks emotions. The Rain Song is up there too
You need to hear âIn My Time of Dyingâ same album. One of the best Led Zeppelin songs.
I concur
This song is a mess...
In the good way, of course.
That guitar...Plants voice... Bonham's drums and John Paul Jones...perfection â€
This is one of my Favorite Zeppelin sons. Nobodys Fault But Mine, Hey Hey What Can I Do and When The Levee Breaks are hot!
LETS NOT FORGET HOW OUT ON THE TILES GETS YOU MOVIN AS WELL
Great songs, but none of them are on âPhysical Graffiti".
mine is The Rain Song
Thanks for the reaction. I tell people all the time, Led Zeppelin is a journey. Their music creates sonic landscapes for you to explore with mind, heart, and soul and the only limit is what you put on it. Please continue to react to more Zep.
Beautifully and honestly put, yes indeed, when you listen to Zeppelin for the first time, you are Alice, and the rabbit hole is deep!
Also to explore while on acid physical graffiti was handcrafted for people who drop acid
I love that "Led Heads" are so dedicated to the music and the band.
We are!
Led Zeppelin is the best rock band of all time.
My mom raised me and my sister on Led Zeppelin. We play this song to remember her.
Zeppelin is the greatest Band ever!!! 4 virtuosos at their given instruments.
The musicianship is amazing. Bonham's drums just amazing. And is great that you are open to great influences like Led Zeppelin.
In My Time Of Dying is a must listen to from this album......one of the most under-rated riffs in music...
Zeppelin, like Pink Floyd, cannot be explained by science or nature.
This album is dope brother. Im in my early 20âs love hip hop & R&B but Physical Graffiti is my fav album ever. Gotta give it all a listenđ€
I think it's their best album, tbh.
If everyone listened to Zeppelin, the world would be a better place
Anytime you listen to a masterful band , your emotions will be stirred. Thats how you know it's good.
No matter what the genre is.
Led Zeppelin =70's Greatness at it absolute best
THis is my favorite Zeppelin song, mostly because it was the most recent one I listened to.
Blues, R&B, country and rock 'n roll all sprang forth from the same source: Gospel. A lot of us grew up in the church!
Absolutely love this track. Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands and this is one of my favorite Zep tracks.
Listening with eyes closed is the best way.
Not a day goes by that I donât listen to this amazing group of musicians, they are and always will be the reason we listen to such beautiful music, Led Zeppelin are my way of life
And I will never tire of seeing people exposed to great music for the first time.
My mom God bless her is 20 years gone. She was not a Led Zeppelin fan but she loved this song. Love watching your reactions. God Bless
One of my favorite songs of all time.
This song makes me and probably others yearn for something that never was. Depressingly addictive, a nostalgia of something imagined is all I can think to say
Yes, I feel it. And there's a few other songs that give me that meloncholy longing for something I can't name, ancient and beautiful. From another life. đąâ€
@Jennylee Rider you're right, melancholy, is the word for it. Hope you have a great day, Jennylee... and love your profile picture â€ïžđ
This song had such an effect on me as a teenager when I had nothing to truly relate to on the same level. So I made a note to listen to it 10 years gone from pivotal points in my life. Here I am 30 years old and itâs left its nostalgic mark.
Ha that's so cool
Finally! A man who "gets it'. Glad to see.
Saw this concert tour in Seattle in 75 when I was a Jr. at UW. My roommate won the tickets on the radio otherwise I never could have afforded it. Probably, the biggest concert event of my life.
I saw them at the Kingdome in 77, it cost 7 bucks, general admission. â
All Zeppelin is spectacular. But, give "Thank You" a listen. "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" is another must listen.
You have a long road ahead of you with Zeppelin.
The Rain Song, Song Remains The Same, In My Time Of Dying, Kashmir, Boogie With Stu. Many more.
If these bands never existed we wouldn't have the music we have today, much luv wales uk
You're totally right; music is about feeling and reaching the depths of your soul. Such wise insight for such a young man. That's why I subscribed to your channel several months ago. At your age, I was exploring prog rock because of the meaning of the lyrics. I was a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan since I was 14 (1973).
Jimmy Page originally wrote "Ten Years Gone" to be an instrumental. Robert Plant told him that he could write some lyrics for it. So, there they were.
The 1975 album, Physical Graffiti, is the best record, IMHO, of Zep's catalog. Some of it contains leftover songs from other years (like the tune "Houses of the Holy"). Most of the album was new material. Released as a double studio album, it was a million seller on pre orders to record stores. THAT'S how big Zeppelin was in 1975.
Two other songs you should check out are "Kashmir" and "In My Time of Dying." The former because I think it's their best song in all aspects. The latter one because of its religious meaning.
Thanks again for another great reaction!! Peace! âđ
Itâs amazing Jojo has come to understand what we felt in the 70âs. Heâs got a bright future!! I saw him react to a Rush song and subscribed right away. Good to see his generation enjoying the best of the best!
Have you watched Marcin Patrazalek do Kashmir on Guitar đž on CZcams.
The greatest band ever and ever was masters of rock and roll period
Accurate assessment. The whole song is straight from their hearts and souls. Raw emotion without thought translated into music. There's nothing better in this world. Everyone one can experience... no barriers.
Another good song to react to is Led Zeppelinâs âThank Youâ song.
"Thank You" is commonly known as the greatest love song ever written. Along with the "Rain Song" will drain you emotionally if you get into the lyrics.
You want a song that makes you feel some kinda way without knowing why or how. The most emotionally lyrical song I've ever heard is Led Zeppelin's "Thank You".The singer's 5 year old son died while he was on tour and it wrecked him. He wrote "Thank You" to tell his wife she was a source of strength through all the good and the bad.
âThank youâwas written for his wife, years before his son died. He wrote âAll of my Love â in remembrance of his son. How youâve worded it comes across as being misleading to me. I agree with you âThank youâ is a great song.
Thank you , a great word ( responds) for so many things ,but really if you mean it , it touch your sole
Thank you was for his wife for the time when she worked and supported his career before he was famous and before he was earning much.
Couldnât agree more. Iâd prefer to listen to Thank You over anything on PG. very emotional and spine tingling.
@@philcotswold5940 Relax Phil. To mislead is to lead in a wrong direction with deliberate deceit..Flawed or not, sharing my love of Led Zeppelin's music in the way I remember it is hardly misleading. But I sure appreciate you taking the time to read my comment and share your kind words. God bless & Peace out!
The greatest rock band ever
Music enriches your mind and actually helps to wire your brain in a more efficient assemblage.
They are truly unbelievable the greatest band ever led zeppelin
Most of our music comes from singing in church, Elvis started there and they loved him. Check the Zeppelin and Elvis jam session
Rock Opera.
I am so happy that I lived through this era.
The old school music makes you feel the deep lyrics, becomes part of your soul no matter what age you are... been trying some hip-hop myself to open my world more.
One of the greatest albums EVAH!
All killer no filler!
... we are eagles of a nest, the nest is in our soul...
That is what made this particular song my personal all time favorite... since 1980 when I first began listening to Physical Graffiti.... best music ever, to grace 2 sheets of vinyl!
Love seeing young ones discovering great music- this music is deep and cuts deep
This has been one of my favorite Zeppelin songs for over 40 years.
They all put their heart and soul into their music.
Led Zeppelin was my first concert in 1975 at the Fabulous Forum (Inglewood CA). I couldn't hear right for three days.
Beautiful song, beautiful reaction!
JoJo you should check Led Zeppelin "Since I've Been Loving You" next. You're welcome!
Ya gotta understand that you're listening to a great song off an album of great songs. Every one stands out, it's just flawless. Might wanna try In The Light or In My Time of Dyin" next.
Masters masters masters masters of rock and roll led zeppelin
You speaking truth about music. Letting it out and how it ain't about the best beat. Its about getting the emotion out. Feelings and making art that touches your heart
Youâre a very genuine reactor, and I respect the hell out of you, sir.
That fucking guitar solo!!! Still my all time favorite solo.
My favorite Zeppelin song from my favorite Zeppelin album. Brings me to tears every damn time. Beautiful. Love your reaction.
Itâs also about remembering who you were with when you saw or heard the music and what you were doing... I remember listening to this after Me and my friends heard John Bonham died. Knowing Led Zeppelin was done .... we played zeppelin for weeks feeling like we got kicked in the teeth. Feeling is what music does to you and how it sets your mood. Keep the feelings coming Jojo good job đ
I remember that afternoon when I heard he had passed away.
My favorite Zep song!
If you need to explain it, then you don't get it! This is a subliminal work, Gods gentle, deft touch , Percy's insightful lyrics, just reach down into your soul. Jimmy's sparing solo is just so emotive!
Robert Plant (Zeppelin's singer) was REALLY influenced by gospel music, so its cool you referenced the church. check out the swan silvertones for the kinda stuff he was listening to as a teenager that influenced his vocal style.
Thankyou!
" Robert Plant was another artist ahead of his time . Such feeling ,emotion, great voice. Great all around well rounded humble individual. Payed his dues no doubt! Unbelieveable era of music. Many, many more years to a great inevator of style.đ„°đŻđ€đđȘđ
100% talent
100% Feeling

It's wonderful that you're listening to different genres. Led Zeppelin is a rabbit hole and truly an awesome experience. It's great that you're still really young. Widen your horizon! Remember, it's not about what music is better but, rather what you're feeling at the time. The problem with today is how everything has been separated! I listened to Zeppelin and Al Green. Etc.
I have a number of friends who would put this on, light one up, and just enjoy the ride. I'm sure they're not unique. This is in the top 5 of their best songs, just...wow. Thanks for reacting to this.
That Gibson Les Paul clean in the beginning is the best sound with those chords....
This being one of my favorite Zeppelin tunes...you are correct sir..lots of emotion invoked..especially Jimis guitar
Zeppelin is for the evolved listener,,,đđ„đđ„đđ„đđ
You explained it, even though you thought you couldn't. Music is art, and art evokes thought and feeling. That's The point. If someone is putting on a technical display for it's own sake, it always misses the mark for me.
Great mature reaction...remember us old folks have been loving, laughing crying and fucking to these guys for 50 years...!
This song was written by Robert Plant (singer) about an old girlfriend who gave him an ultimatum, to choose either her or his music; he chose the music fortunately. I sang in the church choir when I was young too.
I guess she lost....
I wonder how she felt when he made it big
No group built a song to a crescendo better than Zep.
Love this song by them. You need to expand your horizons and listen to all their songs. Their amazing and no two sound alike!
Nothing has the same vibe as ZEPPELIN! Great choice. Do The Rain Song.
Dude you explained it perfectly at 5:00 . Very well put. It's something you cannot put you finger on, but to be able to put it to music is magic! Cause that music is like print that will stand the test of time!
You got it. Good for you. The inspiration for the song is debatable. One version really makes the song work for me. And has made it a favorite of mine for decades. A young Robert Plant given an ultimatum by a love. And he chose what would become one of the biggest Rock blues bands to date. Thank God for that
"they never mess up the guitars.." :) It's Jimmy F-ing Page, young man. :)
đ€Łđ€Ł
He is arguably the best guitarist in history!
"On the wings of maybe, down in birds of prey
Kind of makes me feel sometimes, didn't have to grow"
My favorite ZEP tune for sure. No cap!
My man pulled the lyrics up too with the album version?! he knows the deal
Welcome to Zeppelin ....
Rock Gods
I love this song, always have, but to me the most emotional song by Led Zep is one called Tea For One, check it out sometimes. I used to listen to that song all the time growin up, helped me through some rough patches.
Alot o soul in this song bro. You nailed it when you described it. God bless you.
You totally get it ! Itâs wonderful to watch you experience the music of my youth. And your Dad is awesome too! âźïžđ
Zeppelin is the bomb. Saw them at least 8 times. My high school boyfriend was obsessed. Jimmy Paige was a master on the guitar. Plant is a rock GODđđđ
Try Zeppelin tunes such as Immigrant Song, Misty Mountain Hop, and Achilles Last Stand. The drumming in that last one is an all-out assault.
You are listening to 10 yrs... kudos.
I absolutely love that you and those in your age group are discovering what I think is the best band of all time. In fact, the 70s across the board had some of the best artists out there, much more so than what we have today. Enjoy your journey and I will be there with you!
Music for the soul.
Lots have other favorite albums by Led Zep ... To me... *THIS DOUBLE ALBUM IS BY FAR THEIR BEST!!*
what a tune".... not to mention album! total đ„đ€©đ«đđ
