bungie still does a *decent* job of communicating with the community of destiny 2, but they also have a hacking problem, so a lot of devs stay silent out of fear of hateful messages from the toxic part of the community.

This is how I feel playing Cold War and MW, it feels like the game intentionally puts me with 5 paraplegic team mates and 6 pro-League players

@@xsoulreaper93x Yeah. I really hate the map design of warzone. I wish they made it ground fighting instead. You always have to look up o the roofs to see if anyone is camping up there. And then you have Ground war (although 1 or 2 of the maps have the same problem as warzone) There are a few ground war maps I enjoyed playing though. And then of course you have the lack of an anti-cheat.
Sbmm also adjusts your health, aim, damage, speed and objective capture speed.
Some days, the SBMM is so strong, it's literally impossible to have fun on MP. Thank God for Zombies....
Truth. Hardcore doesn’t seem to have as many cheaters. Plus, it’s harder to cheat bc it takes nothing to die.
Did you read the u.s. patent on sbmm that activision filed? If not look into it, sbmm does way more than control who you play against.
@@kw2519 before I stopped playing MW, my time was spent mostly in HC and I had a cheater in at least every other match. It's so much easier to hide cheating in HC because of no kill cams. Only reason most got found out was because of the play of the game feature that would show the cheaters
It’s got to the point where If someone is doing better than me, I honestly think they are cheating and before In older cods, I used to respect there skills and understand they were just a better player.

I've said this for months. It's all about the numbers. Maybe if the people who are pouring money into the company knew how fragile this has become with the lack of communication and support for those with grievances
My account was hacked at the start of the year... I'm still waiting for a confirmation email that they got my report or whatever. Not a single email. It doesn't matter because I got my account back by logging into it by using my PSN and changing the email back, but still... It's been nearly a year. If I wasn't able to log-in to my account by using my PSN, I still wouldn't have my account.
Edit: I have my account back, I said that, just making it more clear saying it again here.

Man this happened to me recently. The worst part is they banned me for it. I've been waiting on a response for a month now.
My account got hacked in December, I put in a recovery request in like 30 minutes. I LITERALLY just got an email today saying along the lines of, hey it’s been awhile sorry would you like to get your account back and combine purchases and battle pass rewards, or would you like to cancel the request to keep your new accounts leaderboards and challenge progression. Still haven’t picked if I want to continue or cancel, can’t decide if I want camos and skins and generally more progression over my new accounts higher KD, 300+ resurgence wins and newer gun progression
my cod account got stolen and I made an account recovery request the same day with the battletag of the person who stole in the description. it took them almost two months to give me my account back. saw people reporting cases where 6 months had passed since theirs was stolen.
They need to focus more on the anti cheat and the MW glitches, from the amount of players that still play the game all the bugs around right now really need fixing they are ruining the game even more and it's sad cause MW blew the roof off when it comes to COD games and the COD community
To be honest they need to fix Cold War too. MW is in the past. They need to do something about their newer title as well

Plus they recently released their newest mode called portal, something that is actually next gen, COD is definitely done for. Idk how you could defend it at this point.

The AN-94 from BO3 suffers from the same problem: Not enough power to compete with the other ARs. It either needs a better Fire rate or a bigger 3 Shot range
The main thing is that these developers legit can fix this any day they want with no struggle at all but they don’t even try
I’d also like to add to this discussion. Back in April, I randomly got reset and l lost everything.. grinded for Damascus, had a few guns gold on Cold War... all gone. Waited almost 3 weeks for a response from activison before I got one. They basically told me to piss off and that they couldn’t do anything. Not to mention all the cod points I spent on past battle passes and some blueprints I bought were also gone. Activision is so awful. They clearly don’t care about their community.. they just know if they pump out a game every year, they’re gonna get their money

The edit load out mid game bug is the #1 thing I need fixed. I like to switch out my lethals and perks depending on what side of map I’m on and what round and what map like I can’t have every class almost the same load out with minor changes. Seems like it would be an easy fix compared to the hacker problem(which also needs addressed ASAP)
I prefer to play a game where the rules aren't changed constantly, such as super smash brothers melee. The game was released and it's been flawless ever since. Each move still does the same damage that it dealt in 2001 and I love it that way.
I think they can't communicate on SBMM in how it works because it is proprietary. Think about it, you are communicating your company secrets out in the public. Your competitors can then know how your secrets work and get an edge. It's why a lot of companies hand out NDAs for during and after their times with these companies.

The biggest issue is they ban players who did nothing wrong at all.
However the players who are cheating are still cheating. My brother on his Eagle account was permanently banned but didn't even cheat.
When he contacted Activision to ask for a reason they stated that they don't deal with the Call of Duty games and can't help with banned accounts..
They always ban the wrong accounts. The keep banning legit players thinking they cheating.
The lawsuit going on to top everything else off made me uninstall.

i just wish they would market their game better so they could have a bigger player base. then they could afford to hire more devs and bring the game tons of huge content that it deserves. some of the most passionate developers i've ever seen but not enough content.

Honestly, Genshin Impact is pretty good at listening to the player base on feedback, and they actively send feedback surveys routinely to the player base. I've seen things we complained about her fixed and honestly fairly quickly several times, and they're pretty good at communicating known issues. Granted they absolutely suck at server status communication. To find out if the servers are up, you literally have to just log in and try.
with these current it’s so hard to tell if you’re good at it or not, cause on game your connection is god tier and you’re frying, next game you’re on 80 pings losing aim assist mid gunfight

I never played SnD, But now I do for about 2 weeks and I love it but now I feel the pain. Yeah and It's a shame that some matches are full of hackers and cheaters. And devs should be more open about why things change and happen. I agree with that a lot.

Looking at it from a business standpoint we can all agree that there is only so much that can be done to a game like Call of Duty. This is why I believe they are using the Apple method. Yes it is possible for Apple to make iPhones have crazier technology then they currently do, but if they use up all the ideas, what will make the next one crazily different from the last. It’s a tactic to keep the games interesting. FOV sliders for console, cross platform, switching classes are some great examples. If they made the perfect game who would buy the next?
If they actually have an anti cheat it's horrible because my first run in with a hacker on multiplayer was months ago and it just started getting steadily worse lately...and I dont throw out accusations lightly I have to witness it myself a couple times unless its blatantly obvious
Not that Minecraft is big or anything but Mojang does an amazing job at communicating literally everything they do with the game, why they do it, feedback is welcome, open transparency on why updates are delayed, voting on new items, etc

On top of Activision/Infinity as a whole making changes just to change and some not actually being changes, but also how some of the reload animations are just absolute cancer. The biggest one being the AN-94, like who tf in this world would EVER reload like that?

I agree with you, it sucks because I’m no video game developer and I can see so many things that are wrong with the game that could be changed to be better. It really is sad when you love the game and try to love it and the owners do shit about it.

Tbh, stuns are probably the most OP thing MW has seen. They have never been nerfed in the game’s 2 years and the only counter to it still leaves you stuck for 2 seconds.
Idk how a game from 2012 (bo2) in its prime with no player/dev communications, and a huge population of modders was better then a game that came out in 2019(mw) and treyarch even tuned the game in ghost life cycle and did the same with bo3…its sad how corporatized gaming has become

Call of Duty is getting sick with what I call the “Spongebob Syndrome”. It’s when a franchise does not care what happens to their product as long as it gets them a lot of money and the drawback is that the product is usually mediocre at best. It might have a few little gems here and there but the problem is that the whole thing should be a gem.
Id Software is also doing a good job of communicating with the Doom Eternal community

The way to think about this is, that this guys are in the business industry little things like not being to able to change loadout or why SB matchmaking works the way it does, that’s less of their worries. Think about it as McDonald’s a business they can’t decide whether the worker puts pickles on your sandwich or they don’t that less of their worries as long as they’re making profit… that’s all they care about
The Oldschool RuneScape voting poles were literally a result of Jagex royally fucking over the original version of the game which is now known as RuneScape 3 and changing it drastically so people stopped playing. Activision will never hit rock bottom like Jagex will and it’s unfortunate that people don’t take note from other companies downfalls.

With the disappearance of AAA games having official forums, any sort of accountability by the devs also disappeared. Instead game communities are spread across multiple social media platforms like facebook groups and reddit posts. Can you imagine the flaming CoD would be getting on an official forum about the rampant cheating.

I started watching your videos because SnD is my favorite mode and has been since I started playing CoD in high school with friends and you were the only youtuber back in the day uploading search. I stayed because you keep it real and don’t sugarcoat or do nothing but praise the developers like most of the YT/twitch community. All we have now is to look forward to the new game this year. And maybe if that’s trash you make a switch back to Halo. That would be legendary
CoD MW 2019 is a great game, graphics, and physics etc.
The problem is,
1. SBMM
2. Anti cheat
3. Spawning
4. Shoot first die first
It's absolutely awful now I've never experienced it as bad. I played 12v12 snd and there were 2 hackers on each team battling it out shooting the air and killing people wall hacks airboat everything then there was me in a corner with a riot shield hiding for my life😂 please fix this Activision

I think the root problem is corporatism. They’ve become a cash cow, the big suits at the top of the chain don’t even know how to hold a controller, they don’t give a toss about the games, just the revenue.
If it isn’t a grossly overpriced pack they can shove down your throat why invest in it? They don’t see a return on spending resources on developing anti cheat.
From their perspective the game is perfect, they make something like 3M a day just from the pack store.
In my experience, Bungie is the best at frequent and two-way communication with their community. Destiny 2 players don’t realize how lucky they are to have TWABs (This Week at Bungie).
In my opinion, they just don't care about MW anymore to force people into their collosal failure that is Black Ops:CW.
They make the new guns OP in warzone, not implementing anticheat in MW, not putting out new content etc. Trying to force our hand in a sense.

Its beyond me that Activision haven't got a long term big streamer and COD partner such as marksman on as an advisor for their games during development to guide them on what players actually want and not what they think the community might like. Pay the man a salary and the games will improve and sell drastically sell better

I'll be so real, SBMM is the main problem regarding this game. 2-3 decent games and you're playing against God tier players. The cycle is very simple tbh, whilst majority of cheaters are just no life sad kids at home bored. The percentage are players who are simply fed up of having to sweat every single lobby they join. The fun was sucked out of Call of Duty with SBMM, I remembered casual MW2, BO1 and BO2 lobbies where you occasionally would get a ridiculously sweaty game but overall it was a fun experience. I don't completely hate SBMM but I believe it kick started majority of the issues we see with gaming nowadays.
Imagine if this gun was as good as it was in Bo2. Sad they made it so weak

Im certainly not a top tier player but once you get to your true elo the game fucking sucks, it just feels like playing with a bunch of sweaty assholes and the fun is just gone
I usually play after a stressful day of work and I just want to screw around and have fun for a while and having to try so hard to have even a decent experience sucks. Its not fun it's stressful and annoying and I don't want to play anymore because I don't want to sweat every game.
A semi-recent example of good communication with the community is Splitgate. They are upfront about the problems with the game answer they answer towards the community.
What I like is how they are upfront about how they are learning. They are 4 people right now and have stuck to their guns.
I think the only logical reason is that they are selling the cheats as well or they own the company that sells it
the generation of shooters nowadays is very diluted in my opinion, also, the explanation for why most of the games are shitty nowadays is mainly cuz of investors, especially those chinese investors, they own a lot of stock in these companies and that's what ultimately drives production, they capitalize on pre-orders to cash in on that money that we're willing to throw at them cuz of "betas" and then after that the company drops all effort to change the game because they already made the money and they're making more because of the in game store, THE DEVS AREN'T TRULY IN CHARGE OF MAKING THEIR GAME, ITS THE INVESTORS, wether you care or not the signs are everywhere

At this point Activision's only hope with an anti-cheat is if they can convince someone who make cheats to work for them to make an anticheat for the game. I've only ever heard this happen once and it's with the game Infestation:The NewZ.

Beenox did an amazing job with it’s community for Crash Team Racing. Shame Activision only supported it for a year
