    I think from other videos Ive watched you are supposed to drain old oil first. Then fill the jack in the upright position until it comes out of fill hole. Having said that I’m no expert. Thanks.

    I found one of those ina dumpster that looked like it was brand new. All that was wrong with it was it had no fluid in it. I filled it with automatic trans fluid (was told to use that by another site) and it works perfect. I've used it now for several years with no problem. Some of the cheaper one actually come low on fluid or with no fluid all so make sure you check it.

    I have a more difficult task. My bike is currently locked in first position and jack leaked fluid out. So now I have to try and add oil while the jack is upright and without removing the spring. Wish me luck.

      @@dustytales5829 no Bueno. Had to use 3 scissor lifts to hike the bike up. At least the bike came down safely inch by inch with the car jacks.
