Once you fill it with oil, Does it not need to drain out to the grommets height. If not, Why did they not have a sealing screw. I filled mine while the jack was level and used a syringe to do it.
what about one that wont go back down?I got one yesterday for free lifts fine but go to let it down and it goes a little bit then stops.I had to pick the riding mower up off of it.
For that spring on the side of the jack I bought mine from harbor freight best way that I have found the take off that really long spring is as grab it from the top and just pull the hell outta it and it'll come off and it won't sling and it won't bust you in the balls

I wouldn't have a clue sorry mate. Maybe if you took the seals to somewhere like pirtek they might be able to help.
