Here's a note to the filmmakers.
I shot this on and older pocket camera. Canon g7xii. I. bought it used for $300.
I wanted to be mobile and achieve the 2010ish digital look.It was great, the ND filters allowed me to be able to work with natural lighting, didn't need a tripod because of IS, and autofocus, although not perfect, was good enough. I showed up to set without a backpack... Without any bag at all actually. Just a g7xii in my pocket, 2 tiny batteries in the other pocket and a couple of rode wireless go 2's in my back pocket. This was a liberating experience. The shoot took about 2 hours. That includes travel time, and filming on the train. Speaking of filming on the train (in public), I think filming on the g7xii is less intrusive than filming on an iPhone. Editing these small video files was perfect. No need for proxies, no need for a hard drive... I think the initial edit took less than an hour.
This camera taught me a few things.
1. Every camera has its own look.
Example: The canon g7xii looks different than the g7xiii, The iPhone 11 looks different than the 12. Use the tool that fits your project. (I'm excited to film something on the iPhone btw.)

Very well done, but I still have to ask, how did the doppelganger know something personal that only the original should have known? The only other weakess of the film was why would the original wield the knife so aggressively?
I agree! As to the first question we both wondered about: We don't really know what dopplegangers "know" or have access to seeing or hearing from their human counterpart. Nor do we really know where they originate from...some say they are non-human, such as demons. If so, it makes sense this one would know personal details. But as to the second question, I agree 100%...he really seemed aggressive with that knife, it stretched believability a bit.

Something on his face too was telling me deep down that he wasn't the doppelganger. Ik it seems gullible but I don't think most people can make faces as natural as that when lying

Her husband had not called her. It was another person who was tricking her.

@Farah You missed the point and didn't understand the video. The man in kitchen and the man who called her were 2 different people.
@pamelamls I understood the video. But the question is that what if she still hadn't gone home and therefore believed the dopplegänger? What would have happened then? That is what the question was. The question has nothing to do with the fact that he wasn't actually the husband.
@@Farah-mo9jfthe thing is the doppelganger tends to have a high iq here:
1. it knows that the lady would likely go home because of the situation it was trying to tell her. It was pulling a reverse psychology card on her if you think critically about it.
2. She went home to investigate what was going on, believing she was pranked too.
3. Doppleganger has the lady kill the real Samuel and I can only assume how much massive confusion the woman had with Samuel surrounding this (that is if Samuel survived that stabbed to the neck).
