I opted for a “halafex” or however it’s spelled which is a type of stick that uses magnets so it shouldn’t drift in the future. My switch controller is one of the first things I repaired the biggest thing to keep in mind when repairing is to make sure you plug in the new joystick in the new orientation, I fix it had a great guide, and good tools too.
For everyone who doesn't know, I had to give my only 2 controllers to repair, and bc I didn't have any I had to buy 2 new ones bc in took them almost a month, and at the end it tuned out I just had to re calibrate them.They worked perfectly fine after that.60€ to waste

If you ever have drift and aren't scared to open that joycon up do it! Explore! Not all first repairs will be successful so make sure to follow a tutorial.
