Autoglym Snow Foam Lance vs Amazon's Cheapest Review

  • In this video, I compare and review my existing Qooltek snow foam lance with Autoglym’s Polar Blaster snow foam cannon. At the time of purchasing, the Qooltek snow foam gun was the cheapest on Amazon at £18.99. Both products are compatible with Karcher pressure washers which is what I’m using to conduct this test (Karcher K4), along with Bilt Hamber Touch-Less as the snow foam product.
To ensure this is a fair test; I calculate the Panel Impact Ratio (PIR) for each snow foam lance. I also compared the differences in design, useful features and which snow foam cannon produces the best foam.

I’ve not tried the MJJC v2, but I’m really impressed with the Autoglym Polar Blaster. 👍🏼

I have the Qooltek, it's no good. I tried changing the orifice also, but no go. Ended up buying an MJJC, best snow foam cannon on the market. No comparison using 200ml snow foam 200ml water, after applying Koch Chemie Green Star 10:1 prewash - shaving foam which drags down the citrus prewash I apply in 4mins. So good that I have now resorted to contactless washing my cars. BTW I'm using AA Cherry Snow Foam £2 from Home Bargains for 1L, excellent product.

Thanks for commenting. I really want to try the MJJC to see how it compares to the Autoglym.
The Bilt Hamber I use with the Autoglym Polar Blaster is also 1:1 like yours, but the snow foam is around three times the cost compared to what you’re paying for AA Cherry Snow Foam - will give it a go to see how it compares. 👍🏼

@@SwiftDevelopments I think you will be impressed with the AA Cherry foam £10 for 5 litres. My friend has the autoglym foam cannon, it's not bad but the MJJC is noticeably better. Let me know how you get on .

Great vid, appreciate all the details. Where did you get the blue extension hose from? I have an extended hose but its very thick and unweidly .

    • @SwiftDevelopments
      @SwiftDevelopments  Před 16 dny +1

Thanks for the feedback. The hose was from DirectHoses.net, I wanted black so it was more OEM looking, however the colour makes no difference to how it performs. I got the 10m length hose and it was about £30 (when I bought it).
I’ve had it for a few years now and still going strong, doesn’t kink and is more supple than the hard plastic Karcher hose (so less likely to coil up off the ground and scratch the car paintwork).

I have the 1st foamer and the foam stays on much better than this and is much thicker. Bit of tactics going on here.

Please explain how tactics are being used when the same pressure washer, snow foam product and calculated PIR are being used to compare both foam cannons?!
I tried to make this comparison as fair as possible; please let me know if you can think of anything else that I could have done to have made this a fairer test?
It is possible to get thicker foam from the Qooltek by using more product, which I have been doing in the past. The point made in my video is that the Autoglym does this with less snow foam so it is more cost effective in the long run.
Using Bilt Hamber, per wash with a thicker concentration, I was getting 10 washes from a bottle; £2.50 a wash. With Autoglym, I’m getting just over 16 washes from a bottle, which works out at £1.50 a wash. That means I’ve covered the additional cost of the Autoglym lance in less than 20 washes.

@@SwiftDevelopments I used 100ml and it foamed thicker than that with same foam cannon.

Don't bother with these....mjjc v2 best on the market or v3

I’ve seen plenty of people recommend the MJJC v2, I almost bought one but at double the price of the Autoglym Polar Blaster, I caved and thought I’d try that first.
I would like to compare the MJJC v2 with the Polar Blaster, I’d happily make a comparison review of it if MJJC would kindly send one out for me to test! 🙂

@@SwiftDevelopments Get in touch with them and send them a link to this video. Pretty sure if you do a comparison video on YT they'll gain a lot more sales. What have they got to lose bar one MJJC V2 and some postage costs but gained FREE advertising space on your chanel. Good luck and great video by the way.

Thanks @@ScratchyBaws for the positive feedback, it's much appreciated. I've also followed your advice and contacted MJJC to see if I'm big enough to show up on their radar!
