We're Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We've been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris was a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. Jack voiced Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. Also, we were also ghosts the whole time you were reading this. Supernatural twist!

Hi friends, hope you enjoy! We’ll be releasing more sketches all throughout the year so subscribe and hit the bell. Would mean the world to us!
Missed y'all, looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Guys, you're THE ONLY channel I disable adblock before watching vids, best wishes on improvement of your brilliant work! You're amazing, never forget that.
We will. Thanks for giving another vid to enjoy guys.
Cant wait for more to come
Every one of your guys' videos is like opening that first present on Christmas morning. The anticipation, the surprise, the unbridled joy of experiencing it. Don't feel pressured to just pump videos out, you two (and everyone else involved in production) are perfect as is :)
I was just checking to see if I missed any uploads the other day. I was getting a little scared because it had been a long time even for you guys but this was worth the wait.
This must've been a lot of fun for Chris, right up his alley with all the 'body acting'.
The three fatal flaws of humanity
- Jealousy
- Nostalgia
- Pulled pork
makes sense, pulled pork is a FATAL flaw in my opinion.
@@thesillyes Waste of good pork
@@thesillyes it's delicious
Proof that we didn't make robots as smart as we thought. Pulled pork is awesome.
I'm not jealous or nostalgic, but I do pull my pork too much 😕
I just remembered Chris was in the blue man group, that has to explain his level of control
Wait, for real?!
Wait really???

Haha I thought the same thing. Maybe he’s really a robot...
@@zackmorey Surprised it's taken folks this long to figure it out
That's the exact first thought I had when the video was over! Must be all that Blue Man training.
When he finished 3rd in the mushroom cup
I felt that
I'm astounded that, even with that density of gags and continuity, how close to 200 seconds that actually was, your dedication to these is always really nice
At 0:44, Chris' robot said "You have 200 seconds." At time 3:58 he said "...one... final update..."
By my count, Jack had another 6 seconds.
I'm being obnoxiously specific as a joke. You are right. They are awesome at keeping continuity with their own content.
@@dgauthreaux4522to be fair, it was a robot that folds shirts, not a robot that maintains accuracy of time. It's optimized for its function.
"I can assure you that it is objectively not dumb, and that I am tied for the best at art" is such a banger of a line
"you could never understand the depths of my sadness," is the best AI line I've ever heard.
Without Humans, JulySixth Park would never exist. Case and point!
Confirmed human. A robot would know it's case IN point 😅
You may live.

Point and match, surely?
His movement is so good. He's like a robot.
Big twist. Chris has always been a robot. This was just the first role in which he played "himself"
Meaningless existence?
You fold shirts!
The moment he said that I'm throwing all my unfolded laundry at him, starting with the the shirts I'm wearing!
I watched this with my family this morning, and now my kids are walking around with immersion blenders pretending that they're robots that want to annihilate us. We can always count on Chris & Jack to make our lives a little more interesting. Thanks guys!
This makes us so happy :)

How does this channel not have millions of subscribers?!?
YT can only count to 6.4k.
You tube thoroughly screwed me by pushing bullshit propaganda videos that I instantly thumb down and not introducing me to Chris and Jack sooner. I don’t even know why the algorithm thought I’d want other videos. I was an early subscriber to other short story producers like community channel for example.
THIS is why I always keep a few logic paradoxes around just in case the singularity arrives while I'm taking a shit.
Should've hit 'em with that "meeboop". Worked on Groundhog-Day Chris, might have also worked on Robo-Chris?
It's comforting to know that robots can achieve near peak efficiency but still get depressed.
S L lol
"With new technological advancement, we found new ways to make ourselves more depressed"
Definitely seeing that jump in quality I was expecting after the campaign
I'm excited for more! I wonder what the release schedule will be like. Cus I could just take em all right now that'd be fine I mean whatever
There is beauty in inefficiency, and to think solely in the terms of efficiency is to invite stagnation, and limits the potential for growth. For every percieved inefficiency or deficiency ir irrationatlity in one area, humans have proven time and again that they excell in others. For with those inefficencies comes variances and variables, which creates new ideas and new innovation.
This comment is full of meaningless words. You will be deleted first.

I wonder if theyre talking about that book "horse destroys the universe"

i love how the robot's weapon looks like a modified hand blender.
I think what I love most about these sketches isn't just the comedy or how clever your ideas are or the undeniable passion you both have; it's that little twinkle you guys get with one another cause your sketches remind me of best buds messing about. Keep up the glorious content!!

"can you create art without us"
If only they knew what this entailed... 😮💨
This is a concept that's actually expanded upon as an a time called vivy fluorite eyes where the Mc manages to create something because she wanted to
My favorite parts of this are the little choices of genuine emotion in the robot's voice. How they sound impressed when they admit the horse succeeded, and that strange smugness with "I am programmed to fold shirts".
I was waiting for him to remember he put his phone in water
You can see it when the robot takes a drink too
hmm i dont know guys, that robot had some good points
Ah you guys are finally back. Totally worth the wait, your robot movements are at peak efficiency.
Oh my god this sketch is NEXT LEVEL! That was incredible
Robots are clearly much more advanced than humans will ever be.
They can update without having to reboot.

Someone should just build a bunch of robots to the remove the robo bodies. Problem solved.

If he's a robot programmed with the sole purpose of folding shirts, eventually he will fold the last shirt and without humans to make the shirts unfolded hed have no more purpose, making his existence meaningless. But what do i know, im just a fish.
But we- I mean the robots wear shirts
@jam_toast1 that's true, I'd argue about how robots wouldn't need shirts as they were probably only wearing them for human robot compatibility but I know nothing about robots
they could just make more shirts themselves
these guys deserve way way WAY more views and subscribers for all the amazing skits they make just to entertain us and keep us smiling.
3:03 water? You mean the universal disolver, the ruster? The salt destroyer?
I dont have time to be dead.
I know this is off topic, but love you work with ATLA and Dragon Prince :3
great vid too ;3
Yes! I just learned about this
I've always wondered that point. If robots (in the movies) are evolving enough to understand they don't want us, AND they keep evolving to adapt to everything we do, WHY WOULD THEY NOT EVOLVE ENOUGH TO IGNORE US? Like how your robots moved on to another existence, OR like how we ignore 99% of bacteria and viruses, or even most insects, we just don't care what they do because they are insignificant to our lives. Nope they get hung up on killing us and that becomes their new objective forever.
because we might inevitably interfere with their abilities to fold shirts in the near future.
Honestly I'm just happy to see Chris and Jack.
That purpose has already been demonstrated by a very wise horse.
The robots having taken over the world out of a desire to do things like fold shirts is, intentionally or not, a neat tie to the Paperclip Problem. Basically, the premise goes that if you create a self-improving AI and give it the task of “Make paperclips as efficiently as possible”, it will eventually convert all matter in the cosmos into paperclips.
All the robots want to do is efficiently perform the tasks they were designed for. But they were designed for human use. No humans means no purpose.
they don't care why they were made to fold shirts they just want to fold shirts for the sake of it
Robots don't require shirts.
Without humans, that robot's primary function of folding shirts becomes meaningless...thus, the robot's own existence becomes meaningless & it's function is no longer required.
So, by their own logic, the robots need humans to exist in order to give their own existence purpose.
In deleting humans, they may as well delete themselves...making the original argument against humanity cyclical & flawed.
Thereby, their argument against the continued existence of humanity is an invalid argument & serves only a superfluous function resulting in the robots' own inefficiency.
except they don't care about why they were programmed to fold shirts just that they want too they don't need to justify it
it's what they want to do
Robots have no need of buttons and shirts. And many other tasks they would be programmed for. Therefore if they eliminate humans they are eliminating the need for at least half of all the machines in the world as well either condemning their fellow machines to be pointless or to die themselves. Thus humans are necessary because their needs keep the robots necessary
Chris's movements are on point 👌
I’m glad I supported the Kickstarter and saw this yesterday
