He doesn’t realize that MGA claimed to be prophet who received wahy.Other scholars don’t receive wahy in order to be corrected. So by comparing MGA to other scholars, he has indirectly affirmed that he(MGA) too did not receive any revelation to be corrected. Ustaz Adnan also said those scholars did not believe Eesa alayhissalaam to be a drunkard. But MGA believed in it.

From an islamic theological perspective it really doesn’t make any sense to maintain a belief in the continued existence of Jesus. The Quran is only concerned with the fact of Jesus’s opponent bringing about his death by plotting against him. Just like the Quran maintains that the Prophet Muhammad himself was several times saved from the plotting of his enemies and God would protect him until such a time the revelation reached its culmination. Then was his time due. Likewise it would not make any sense theologically for Jesus to be alive after he was rescued from his jewish opponents. This is especially an unecessery belief in light of the fact that eschatology in the Quran is only concerned with the cataclysmic end of this cosmic existence as such and not with the prelude of such events. It is only with the Hadith you have an elaborate narrative involving the Mahdi and Messiah. Keep in mind then that much of these could be Israailiyat and christian influence.
And because they said, “We have killed the Messiah, Eisa the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah”; they did not slay him nor did they crucify him, but a look-alike was created for them; and those who disagree concerning it are in doubt about it; they know nothing of it, except the following of assumptions; and without doubt, they did not kill him. 4:157
In fact Allah raised him towards Himself; and Allah is Almighty, Wise.
