Favorite final table yet. Those last three fighting it out hand after hand was epic. Went on for 30 minutes in video, which means it must've been hours irl. Loved it
Peak WSOP the stream was epic
Greg Merson might be the most deserving main event champ ever.
I’m so glad that they edited this because I remember watching this live and it was so bad because the players were taking so long to react even when they had crappy hands. Thanks for the edits.
Remember it too, it was a live stream without pocket cards. Disagree about it being bad, it was an epic grind, they played forever 3 handed. So many ups and downs.
@@HaraldPabisch 3 handed for 11 hours.
How he shook the guys hand before celebrating his ship. What a guy
One of my favorite moments at the WSOP. Doesn’t get talked about enough. Greg sat at the table for every all in, locked in, still ready to play. Then he stands up and shakes Jesse’s hand before celebrating. Pure class.
Everyone’s reactions at 32:58 when Koroknai turned his cards over… Priceless. Lol
6bet shipping KQo… holy moly!
@@quanta2770 At the final table of the main event when you have piles.. Must have had a mini stroke or something.
Guy will never forget that for the rest of his life.
What a story and what a triumph. Congrats to Greg merson. You made maryland proud
13:06 Russell Thomas with an outstanding hero call
Merson was sick with the QJ to Q10 pushing with nil.
That hand was insane. How does he push there?
I'm really happy for Merson. The emotions were real. GG.
Sylvia is such a luckbox, what a fish
Yep, just like Doug Polk I mean Vanessa😂
This Fish win just 5 millions !!!! for 24 years old !!!
@@rmklarson5485 making the final table of a single tournament is 80% luck
Balsiger grows on ya during this Main Event.
It's like he got some Dime Piece during the break... Like Kyle on the movie Road Trip!
Another awesome final table. Congratulations Greg.
Loving these videos pokergo!
its not their content... stop thanking them. They ruined the event for everyone
Koroknai getting a $1.6 million payout when he should have been out of the tournament puts me on tilt. Nothing against him personally he doesn’t seem like a bad guy.
And he should've had more, if he didn't go crazy with KQ.
Man, calling off 60,000,000 all-in PreFlop with QJ heads up in the Main is foolhardy. Mersson was putting all the pressure on players, He was the best player at the table, Sylvia should have been pressuring him with All-ins... Mersson knew his skill set was better, he would have folded more often without premiums.
I agree. Some times you make a bad play
Snow and cold here. Thanks for the inside great entertainment.
Stop being a wimp, get out there and enjoy mother nature!
@@JBT42884 😄😄😄
When Greg is wearing those shades, he looks so tough. But he's actually a really sweet guy.
Might be the best final 3 showdown ever
yep, that was crazy back and forth
wat a final great watch especially the last three guys nail biting stuff lol
I don’t think I’ve seen so many bad beats at the final 3 as I did with this one..
Poker. What a game.
57:49 The most boss hand in Wsop history
Much respect to Merson for pushing his friends away so that he can celebrate/commiserate with Sylvia first. You don't see that very often.
damn thought Salaburu would go deeper
Of course he ran super good actually character shows how are we seeing different things
2012 WSOP CHAMPION GREG MERSON
2012 WSOP CHAMPION GREG MERSON
What is the point of your comment apart from trying to spoil the ending? What a mug.
imagine playing for hours upon hours upon hours for days..only to call it all off with qjs.
Damn that 4 on the river for Sylvia just snatched $1,400,000 for Balsinger... Whats crazy is thats equivalent to 3 big tournament wins on 1 card.
This trio at the final table is like 3 horses coming down to the wire in a photo finish 😳 😮.
Sylvia is just a luck box. They say “skill”
Balls Deep Balsinger is the Man!!
Amazing for 21 years old. He will win this one day.
Goddam I miss the energy of this era of poker that final table tho
When Selbst approached Sylvia and his girlfriend and offered her services he didn’t realize she wasn’t talking to him.
Rob Salaburu is the fastest better in the west. Nobody can out call him. 😅😂lol.
When I look at Salaburu, I see blood shot eyes, behavior beyond hyperactive, the way he grabs his chips and throws them/splashes them quickly into the pot, his constant fidgeting, basically I see all of the signs of someone on Meth. I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me if it came out that he is on speed.
well done greg
un grande merson
How did Thomas make that call w QQ
I love watching Salaburu bust
after all that, all-in with KQ. :(
i wouldn't want Vanessa as a coach in a million years.
That's a really fortunate thing because she probably never will be.
@JBT42884 what does Vanessa teach, how to punt off your stack then cry about it, lol.
@@Lou-Meatskavitchyou’ve accomplished more in poker than she has? lol 🤡
Why not? Because she's a woman or in a relationship with a woman? Pitiful. Any coaching I could get would be beneficial.
What don't you like that man so much? He seems like a nice dude.
korknai what a donk
Yeah that was a wild error
Korknai? More like Dork-nai
Gaelle Baumann said YES !
spent more time talking about vanessa selbst than merson. merson is the story. they put selbst on such a ridiculous pedestal that she could never have lived up to. All they talked about was her it was really weird. If you don't love Merson you can gfy.
Rob said he wanted to raise with that min click lol like why are you moving so fast over here fckin up jus put the chips in nice and normal or verbalize your bet
"Andras Koroknai, i shouldn't be here, but the wsop broke the rules for me to stay". Fixed it for him.
The best final table ever!!!
Back in the day I was really happy for Merson when he won this! But after watching these episodes back I was surprised to see how obnoxious and disrespectful he was being towards opponents. Last episode, Steve Gee didn't call an all in and he keeps saying to the guy on the right 'how does he not call there?' as if Gee isn't sitting right beside him. After Koroknai's all-in, he says to Ausmus 'I was just saying to Jessie that he was going to spew it off to someone' with Korokna standing right there! Even if you think that, either keep it to yourself or say it to the guy's face!
Guy played like a boss
Well, he wasn’t wrong (on either) 😂😂
Wow, forgot hellmuth would have been p.o.y. unless merson won. What a terrible way to lose p.o.y.!
If I was in Sylvia's position I would have declined to have Selbst as my mentor. If I couldn't, I would just do the opposite of anything she/he said. Once again a despicable display of human behavior- turning around saying "did he call with QJ?". She has made way worse decisions, granted never been in such a position. Such a hater.
salaburo quit poker since 2019
The most gentleman wsop champ ive seen on tv
Anyone else notice some dude looking like he’s groping Vanessa during the celebration at 1:07:08
Let's go Merson™/01758^°st.lucia the Cage ™
