      NATO's first
      secretary general, Hastings "Pug"
      Ismay, famously declared that the
organization's mission was "to keep the
Russians out, the Americans in, and the
      Germans down."
NATO's mission has not changed in the
more than seventy years since 1952
      when the organisation founded to
      oppose the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union fell apart more than
thirty years ago, and Russia is not the
Soviet Union of old, and left Eastern
      Europe voluntarily leaving NATO without
a mission, and yet the U.S. occupation
      forces remained in Germany consistent
      with the original NATO mission
      statement mentioned above?
      Russian President VIladimir Putin has
claimed that he once raised the possibility of Russia joining NATO with
      then-President Bill Clinton, and that
Clinton said he had "no objection."
America remains as committed as ever
to keeping the Germans down and
      preventing Europe from becoming a
      peer competitor by sabotaging
      Germany's burgeoning economic
      co-operation and partnership with
Russia, which would have benefited all
of us, and this was most vividly
      demonstrated by the destruction of
Nordstream by the U.S., effectively an
      act of war on Germany.
The war in Ukraine was supposed to
      accomplish two American foreign
policy objectives, the first being to bring
Russia to its knees economically and
the second being to weaken Germany
and Europe. Whilst the U.S. has failed abjectly in
achieving the first objective, the EU
appears to be trapped in a death spiral
with industry now unable to rely on
      cheap energy from Russia relocating
out of Germany and the EU while
      America profits from substituting it's
own more expensive gas and it's
      insatiable Military Industrial Complex
      earning bilions from supplying new
arms and ammunition to Ukraine and to
      replenish depleted European stocks.

I think you are also descendants of the Scythians or Sarmatians, just like the Ugors - Hungarians and the Magors - Magyars, only you spoke a more Sarmatian-Slavic language! For example, the ruling class of the medieval Poles knew very well that they were once Sarmatians! Nowadays, many people dispute that the Slavic languages and peoples could be related to the Sarmatians or possibly the Scythians, and based on genetic and linguistic research, the roots of the Slavic peoples go back to the Iranian Sarmatians, since after the Scythians, the Sarmatians conquered and ruled the entire Eastern Europe, all the way to the Huns! Based on the archaeological research, the Sarmatians completely switched over to the Huns, but when the elite tribes of the Huns retreated to the east after the death of Atilla, the descendants of the Sarmatians remained here. And then this also explains why the Ugric Scythian language was limited to only one narrow area, the Carpathian basin! Anyway, as far as I know, the Slovak language has many words related to the Hungarian language, which would prove a long coexistence in the kingdom of Hungary, but maybe also a relationship between the peoples and the languages of Scythians and Sarmatians!

On the other hand around the 15 century, he is deleting parts of Transylvania which was as well in fact part of Hungary. But the greatest mistake is the ignorant author is erasing the Kingdom of Hungary from 1526 onwards, even erasing the Principality of Transylvania a few times from 1600 onwards, but completely erasing Hungary from 1711 until 1848, and from 1849-1867, that is just ridicoulus, Hungary existed all the time. A very impressive piece of work, no doubt one which took a great deal of effort. There are a few minor errors on the Bulgarian border. For example, Darman and Kudelin resisted Hungarian rule in Braničevo from 1273-1291/1294, while Jacob Svetoslav's claim to the Bulgarian throne as a Hungarian vassal from 1266-1273 is not shown. Regardless, the attention put to small details is quite notable, good!

But the video shows Miklós Horthy, the Head of State (Regent) for the Kingdom of Hungary, and then also shows the Presidents for People's Republic of Hungary. But in those times, the Head of the Communist party was the highest power, and not the President. It should have shown Rákosi as leader from 1947 until 1956, then Kádár from 1956 until 1989. After Mohacs (1526) there was no "Eastern Hungary". While Western Hungary belonged to the Austrians and Central Hungary became an Ottoman province, for about 170 years Transylvania was an autonomous state formation, under the suzerainty of the Ottoman Empire, first as the Principality of Erdel, then the Principality of Transylvania. The Hungarian language is related to the Finnish and Estonian languages but practically unintelligible (like other languages). They are part of the Finno-Ugric group. It looks like a European population because their nomadic ancestors were not very numerous, they conquered the Pannonian space and others only militarily and later linguistically not ethnically. The Hungarian kingdom in general throughout its history has been a small "empire" of many ethnic groups (Hungarians, Cumans, Romanians, Slavs, Germans, etc.). The nomadic population has been reduced in battle over time and has mixed with the majority native population of the Carpathian Basin, so it looks like Europeans .

Also, would it be a mistake if I showed Grand Principality of Transylvania (with Szekely and Saxon lands) as a separate entity inside Habsburg Monarchy after 1765 (1784, concretely), and if it isn't, did there exist some big border changes in comparison to 1711?

I would say it would be a mistake, because the territory was not Hungarian. It was in equal part Romanian. Consider the most important aspects of it's history. The revolt of Horea Closca and Crisan, as well as the revolt of Avram Iancu. If you are to acknowledge those, you would know Hungary didn't hold the territory in any way. It was under Habsburg rule, with a significant Romanian population, as admitted by the Saxon leadership and their statements on the territory. The land was Romanian, as according to the vast majority of the population, Romanians and Germans combined.

    • @triballianmapper
      @triballianmapper Před 2 lety

@@sticlavoda5632 I didn't thought about showing it as an entity inside Hungary, but inside Habsburg Monarchy, as I stated. And yes, Romanians for sure made at least 50% of population (it may had been higher/lower, but Romanians were present). And yes, I will cover Revolt of Horea, as well as possibly Bobalna Revolt, and of course Revolt of György Dózsa (this one spread over big part of Hungary; also, I'm not gonna argue about his ethnicity)

    • @sticlavoda5632
      @sticlavoda5632 Před 2 lety +5

@@triballianmapper I don't care much about arguing ethnicity, but I believe that the census data from the Habsburg period, and the statements made by several scholars and statisticians over the years, all showcase a clear Romanian majority from the 1600s onwards at the very least. Romanians have been considered the most highly prominent people of Transylvania, and the native ancestral population of the region since the 11th to 12th century. If this is true or not I can not objectively say, but if we are to logically account for this fact, a Romanian majority is evident.

I will say that the Szekely and Saxon land remained separate from proper Hungarian counties until 1876, so I believe those should've still been included up until then.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counties_of_Hungary_(1000%E2%80%931920)#Modernised_counties_(1867%E2%80%931920)
    Modernised Counties - Paragraph 2, 3, 4
Also, the military frontiers were not abolished until 1881, and the military frontiers essentially acted as marches (otherwise called margravate, marquis, etcetera),
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_(territory)#Habsburg_Empire
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Frontier
so I believe those should fit the definition of vassal, and should be included as well, regardless of if Habsburg Hungary is not shown in its entirety.

You missed the Hungarian Kingdom under Habsburg rule: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Hungary#Middle_Ages
" Although the borders shifted frequently during this period, the three parts can be identified, more or less, as follows:
Royal Hungary, which consisted of northern and western territories where Ferdinand I was recognized as king of Hungary. This part is viewed as defining the continuity of the Kingdom of Hungary. The territory along with Ottoman Hungary suffered greatly from the nearly constant wars taking place.
Ottoman Hungary: The Great Alföld (i.e. most of present-day Hungary, including south-eastern Transdanubia and the Banat), partly without north-eastern present-day Hungary.
Eastern Hungarian Kingdom under the Szapolyai. Note that this territory, often under Ottoman influence, was different from Transylvania proper and included various other territories sometimes referred to as Partium. Later the entity was called Principality of Transylvania."
