"Thunderstroke"..... Yup That is what the wife's gonna have when she finds out I'm coming home riding one of these!
Lol
LMAO!
Put thousands of kilometers down on an Evo, an 88ci Fatboy, 96ci Softail classic and a Breakout CVO over 25 years and loved each of them like they were my children. Bought a chief classic in 14, fitted a two into one set of pipes, helped it breath better and changed the ignition module so it could rev out to where I wanted it. The same treatment four of the Harleys got on the first day. I can tell you without reservation the Indian handles better, is far smoother and faster than all of them including the CVO which couldnt even make it around a decent corner until I fitted two inch over forks! I will always be a Harley man but Indian will be getting my money until Harley can build a bike that will change my mind.
Bought an Indian Chief last week. Best decision of my life thus far.
I'm native American, and I'm glad these bike are giving us a good name. Tough like us warriors 💪.
After looking at Indians in person, they are absolutely gorgeous bikes. I'm not a big cruiser fan but lord have mercy I would buy me an Indian haha
I would love to see Indian rise for the 3rd time and outsell harley again
It’s happening
I bought a 2016 Indian Chief Classic. Pearl w/silver flake.....Just Stunning!!!! I Love the torque, it Pulls in 6th gear.
If anyone out there considering a New bike, "Join The Tribe. You won't regret it!"
Got my Scout :) highways and backroads all day
Goddess Sky scooters are fun
@@richicamacho7989 i know it's a subjective issue, but how's the comfort on the standard Scout? i had a Scout Bobber and that was my biggest (really, my only) issue with it.
@@DaemonWulf7 I test rode the Bobber and the uncomfortable seating position and small-ish seat put me off. The seat on the regular scout is amazing. No pressure points and it grabs your butt very nicely. Also the more relaxed seating position is great for longer rides.
but since it was my first bike and I needed to get some experience I chose comfort over everything else.. but I would get the Bobber without a doubt now
@@richicamacho7989 interesting. i got rid of the Bobber and traded up to the Chief because it was hell on long rides and 2up. glad to know the issues were limited to the Bobber.
i have a 2017 and it's a BEAST. awesome feeling to own my dream bike... she does everything i want, and no ugly quirks.
Me too
I just purchased this bike today. Before delivery, an issue was discovered with the bike. Sean and Caleb went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. If anyone is interested in a used motorcycle, I highly recommend visiting their website or viewing their videos.
The videos keep getting better and better fellas! Love the multi-angles. You guys are on your way to becoming the pre owned motorcycle BOSSES!
working on it
I would love to see Indian become number one, some Harley Davidson dealers are thieves
Im not sure if that would ever happen, but they are gaining market share
I'm a Harley guy through and through... Keeping my Harleys but I would buy this classic also, for the nostalgia (with modern technology).
Yep! This is the one. I am coming from a purely aesthetic angle, but the lines and design of this bike are both classic and beautiful. This would be my kind of bike if ever I would buy one 👌
Waking Up Y said
Harley has nothing to fear, but I love that Indian is back in the market. The more USA the merrier 🇺🇸. Wouldn't mind having one of each...
Why is your logo the u.s. flag?
@@nirhaber6149 why wouldn't it be?
@@NepetaLeijon he's not American
@@nirhaber6149 lol how do you know?
Landisville Rd. No wonder that ride looks familiar! Awesome video. I own an '07 Softail Deuce.. no complaints. Test rode the Chieftain at Hernley's a few years ago. My Dad had a '46 Chief, and he rode the new Chief Vintage beside me. The Chieftain actually handles better with the shorter wheelbase. Polaris/Indian is doing it right. Glad to see Indian coming back!
Love the new camera views you're putting in there! Awesome bike love the look
thanks
Oh my god, this byke it's absolute beautiful. The prize is good
Went to a Indian dealer and the place was dead. Not a single customer. Also I ride everyday and it's very very rare to see someone riding a Indian. About as rare as seeing a victory. I sure hope they stick around for good though.
Honestly you give some of the best reviews on CZcams and I would definitely buy a used bike from you anytime.
+strix2035 I appreciate that
What a great FPV video! as for the bike I love the front fender the white walls the baker lite coloured gauges but those bags and seat look quality!! Thanks for the video
I love the multi angle camera action you've got going on!
Loving my Indian. Great video as always.
Dude, we appreciate the honesty. Great video. You know you ain't gushing, but you can tell your enjoying the RIDE!!!
Another great video! Even if it was cut a little short lol.God Bless you brother!
Check with the dealer, my 2016 Springfield is coded so I don't have to carry the fob.
I love my Indians, But there is one thing I don't like, I am old school and don't like a lot of modern technology, That being said, I don't like the idea of not using a key to start it, I always had motorcycles that took a key, these computer keys (I guess that is what they are called?) worry me, I think there is too many things that can go wrong with them from a weak battery to dropping it in a mud puddle or something and shorting it out and a few other concerns with them too, Also I miss the days when Motorcycles also had a kick start, I still have a Motorcycle that has both an electric start and a kick start, There is just something cool about kicking, The only down side to a kicker is at my age the kick start proves to be good exercise at times. LOL.
I bought my 17 last Halloween, it was before the 18's coming in so I got a great deal on a great bike. One problem, I don't have enough vacation days off this year. Thanks for the good review!
Wow guys, this is one of the few times he at least attempts to warm up the bike before he romps on it from the get go. What a monument
Love the multi-camera perspective. Thanks for consistently improving the quality of your reviews!
thanks for appreciating it
Indian seems like a good bike
No doubt they are great looking bikes. Would like to get one sometime. Not ready to let go my Road King.
I just picked up this bike in black today. Love it.
Indian is going to outsell Harley if they keep innovating and making great bikes. Harley Davidson makes bikes with 1980s technology and charges way more. The only thing they have going for them is the name, which they are quickly tarnishing.
It is all about what you chosen ride. Different people, different pleasure !
You all driving different cars aren't you ?
I love Indian motorcycles I have test-driven them there are awesome better than my Harley sitting in the garage
which I don't use cuz my victory high ball kicking its butt
Nice bike, hope I get to try one one day. In the meantime I have my Dyna... what happened to the end of this video, by the way? Stopped a bit suddenly!
If I were to replace my Roadstar, it would be this bike. I love the lines and the ride.
Harley dealerships are usually assholes. I went in and no one would even help me. Had a salesman sitting at his desk with his feet up, he looked at me and looked back down and wouldnt even acknowledge me. I left and bought a metric cruiser. Love it.
Why did the video cut off?
Brilliant camera work! Very very impressive!
thanks
I freaking love this channel!!!
thanks
I grew up riding a 48 Indian Chief after a brief ride on the back of a 40's salmon pink Sport Scout with full fenders. If I had my first ride on a knuck, who knows...?
Indian may find a niche but in its current configuration it’s not much of a threat to HD. I think they would have to come out with other models that depart from the traditional Indian look. Things have gotten more challenging for Indian with the introduction of the M8 engine a new/updated models from Harley.
Interesting comments. It's been a year since this video was posted, and in that time Indian's sales have grown while HD's have shrunk. Sure, HD still has a larger market share, but how long will that be the case with Indian on the rise and HD falling? In 5 years it'll be 50/50.
That is the same paint scheme I have on my 2018 Vintage, except I have black leather versus brown.
How hot was your crutch sat over the rear cylinder after your little ride? Imagine it after a day ride, on a warm day? 🤔
What a beautiful bike!!!!
Love that bike. One day my friend one day.
Sweet bike, nice video.
why the tassels all over tho?
finally an actual review.
MAY I ASK U ABOUT THE NOISE REAR SUSPENSION PRODUCE WHEN COME DOWN..
AND CLANKING UNDER THE TANK
harley has nothing to worry about, besides they are both american motorcycle companies so its all good.
The indian engines have a lot of cams and tentioners that the new harley M8 eliminated.
I Thunderstroked to this bike.
the vintage is closer to the street glide than a road king. Nice bike tho, I'd buy one.
HD has nothing to worry about. the way they keep changing owners every few years there is no doubt they will go under again.
I have a Honda Shadow 1100 aero as my second bike that has the same classic style and i'm in love with her, but if i'll have to drop her for any reason, i'll buy an Indian chef Vintage
stunning bike
All the HD fanboys commenting. You sound like iphone fans bashing other phones that are twice as good and cheaper lol
Google User Tiring isn't t?
Indians are cheaper? Lol, not really.
@@MidwestGooner they are. Way, WAY cheaper where I live.
I’m dumping my HD for one of these.
This guys tounge clicking is making me nuts
I'd love to see a review on the Scout or Scout 60
i had a scout bobber and its an amazing motorcycle. the only reason i gave it up is because it's really rough 2up or on long rides... the seats are hell, even aftermarket. i hear the standard scout doesn't have as big an issue with that, and certainly has more aftermarket options on seats. but it's more powerful and handles better than most of the cruisers out there. and it's an inch or so lower than a regular scout, so i'm guessing they're even a bit better in turns.
If I were in the market I would buy that at that price.
I love my indian chief vintage I owned 6 Harleys the indian blows them all away
they're not scared, you serve, 2 masters
only 830 pounds? that's heavy
Personally the Road King is nice, but I would choose the Chief Vintage over the Road King any day.
Harley's are highly over rated and a dime a dozen now a days. I recently rented a soft tail for a day and man what a waste of time and money.
which model of softail you rented ? i have a 1997 honda magna 750 and thinking to buy a harley, what you think ?
Heritage softail.
If you like the Road King, then try the Indian Springfield, it's the direct competitor to the Road King
I had that exact bike about 2 years ago. I bought a '15 Victory Cross Country, and gave the Magna to my son. That Honda was a blast to ride... fast as hell, but for someone my age (48) it was horribly uncomfortable lol.
At roar on the shore i demo the road master with the wife on the back lol thats the quietest she ever been road like a caddy. And i road the dark horse they shift smooth but trans feels clunky to me
Nice looking bike
Indian motorcycles are for people who know and can pay more.
HD motorcycles is less in all aspects. For people who cannot afford an Indian.
Are we talking used bikes because Harleys cost way more than an indian and the interest on a Harley is redicolous.
Wayne King no they dont, they are competitively priced. I wont make it easy so Google it.
Have you been in an HD dealership lately... super high prices!
Did you ever try the Kawasaki vn 2000?
yes i have ridden a 2000
Not the classic lt. on the 119 video. I'm talking about the VN 2000. The headlight has a different shape.
Thunder STRUCK!
Great ending
Yella Yella lol
Yella Yella 9/11 lol
I think styling wise.........
I like the Road King over the Chiefs by a long shot. BUT...i like the chieftain over the street glide by a long shot. Id like to have one of each lol
Nice bike
i think styling wise there....
Aluminum frame, size, weight, power and displacement much like the Stratoliner, but I wouldn't recommend racing a Stratoliner for pick slips or money
$16200 for the 2016???? Incredible!
The front fender is a deal breaker for me
Hd has not a thing to worry about. i went to look at one of these and was shocked at the horrible dealer network... last thing i want is to need service on the road and have a horrible dealer network.
Well you ride a Harley and you can get parts anywhere! Believe me your gonna need them.
Nice bike. Here in Brazil I don't have the courage to buy it because of spare parts and all. I went with the Road King. Still, this thunderstroke 111 is great!
Nice...
How is the fit and finish as compared to Harley?
Dan Meredith just as good
I want an Indian so bad they're haunting my dreams.
Trust me you'll have more fun riding it than selling it!
Nice bikes if the fenders didn't start to rot out in 3 months.
But it is long and hard to clean. To much fenders. My to last one was retro and I am tired to spend more time to clean than riding them. No more suffering with my Raider
Heavy bike the scout seems faster
With the power to weight ratio Scouts are a lot faster...
my scout bobber was a lot quicker, and maybe faster (there is a difference) but my chief has plenty of power and is quite a bit more comfortable. also, you don't notice the weight once you're out of the parking lot. at all.
Sounds nutless.....
Still a bunch of 2016s out there that never sold. HD has nothing to worry about, the public is finding out about the clacking in the TS 111 and how Polaris tells the owners it's normal.
And you of course know H-D offered dealers rebates to get of their '16s? First time in history?
@Nor-Cal Refridgeration 3 years later do you still think HD has nothing to worry about?
@@gabrielcocco5188 yes nothing to worry about the soyglide will come out soon and every hipster will want one. HD is throwing in ha pair of there new skinny jeans and 4 pack of hard seltzer.
@@NorCal-refrigeration Nawh, the hipsters are too scared to ride. The wind and helmet chin straps will mess up their styled beards.
Say your prayers Harley Davidson! Indian Motorcycles is back in the game baby!
Just a joke Harley fans, calm down OK? LOL! XD!
Rear cylinder heats hotter than the Harley. Considering how Victory went, doubtful Harley, Honda or any other company is scared of these guys. Good for a RUB.
Adu Saladee, perhaps with Victory gone Polaris will focus on fixing some of those issues.
Love your videos, keep up the good work. You keep on making sucking/smacking sounds with your mouth, which is bit disturbing. Maybe repositioning the mic could help. That indian seems to be a decent bike.
The Indian is an awesome bike!
Sean's vocals are part of the SRK experience. You learn to love it.
I'm here for the mouth noises.
Road Glider hmm... i doubt it.
Not a bike for a beginner I would think right?
Excellent bike for a beginner because you will hate to put a scratch on it.
What the hell is that clicking sound when you talk
I just got rid of a road king and the indian is bigger and certainly high tech. Nice machines. I was surprised at the lack of low end torque however compared to my victory. I have the Indian on my website at www.endeavortrikes.com
Sexy growl, easy power, super styling, fantastic bike.
HD are in a funk. They've improved their bikes technologically so they're easier to live with, but the styling in the 2017/18 line look god awful Indian are going from strength to stengeth. HD will always be here, they're HD, but now Indian are back and strong they have competition. Hopfully it'll make HD work harder to produce better designed and styled bikes and maybe drop their prces to a more reasonable level.
That`s CAPITALISM---ain`t it great ?
Between 5 to 7K. Rebuild Title
They need to be scared. Their prices are outrageous and I own 3 and eont be buying another. Looking at Indians now.
