Even now that I'm 24 I still cry when I watch this movie, and Part Of That World is one of the greatest meaningful Disney songs and Voctave performed it beautifully. She has a dramatic instrument within her voice (although she is probably more just a full lyric in categorization) but she is a TRUE soprano, not just in a classical sense but she is also a soprano in "natural voice" if you get what I am saying

Can you point me to where you heard her say she is a mezzo with a high extension? You must be thinking of a different singer, because I have heard this statement exactly but it was a different singer. In fact, Tiffany had been classified (or classified herself) at some point as a coloratura soprano. While I don't think that she would describe herself as such now and I don't think she is as a coloratura, she is definitely a soprano

Crazy part is that’s just her head voice not even whistle registry for her, you can tell by the shape of her mouth. Oml she’s so talented imagine just how higher her whistle registry is!

Normally when you have multiple parts sung by different people, one or few stand out. But here, every one of them is so damn unique and talented. It's so unreal.

These guys sound so much like the ultimate smooth cello and bass violin section of a small orchestra. They sound like molasses tastes. Their warm, rich, sustained notes are the perfect counterpoint to those incredible trebles.

It's actually not in chronological order; it's in order from highest to lowest voice. Pocahontas was the lowest alto, then Mulan, then Ariel, etc.
Kate got the PERFECT voice to sing like a disney princess. Its absolutely gorgeous, and sends you right back into the time when you where a kid watching the movie.

Each role of voices on this group is just impeccable at doing their job. The bass holding the strong foundation of the low notes for the other voices to not just be thrown away at the air. The tenors are like supporting braces of the ship for sailing. The high notes catching the wind for the ship to sail. The mid notes keeping everything together, etc... Bless you guys.

I just came back from Voctave's concert and I can confirm that somehow their harmonies are just as lush and their intros and exits just as perfect as in their videos.
I have seen (heard) King Singers, Chanticleer and Voces8 in concert and they are fantastic, but Voctave is the best live a capella group I have ever heard.

I knew this girl who'd drive four of us to work everyday. We'd take turns on the driving. Whenever she'd take her car she'd always play Disney songs. I LOVED it. The two other girls not only disapproved but showed it. Their eyes were fiery with judgement. How can a grown woman listen to childish songs like this...that's how much they knew and that's the pretentious world they live in. This vid has been a magical reminder of all things good in me. Thanx.

Tachi Tekmo That’s definitely not a G6. Compare to her G6 in “Mary Did You Know?” I think it’s around 2:35. This sounds more like an Eb6.
Her second-highest note is an F#6-the last note IIRC-in the Disney Princess Medley feat. Kristin from Pentatonix. I’d have to listen to the song again but I think she progresses to that note from a C#6.
Her highest note is actually at around 4:49. And she sustains that one too! Kate’s voice is beyond sick! 🔥👍🏾🌟🌟🌟🌟

Part of Your World is my personal go to when I listen to Voctave. Even though the part is small, it’s such an immersive experience with the harmonies that sound just like the film, and I would die for a full version.

While I am a first soprano, I always have said that the altos and basses are what make a choir sexy! They give texture and fullness.
