- The Nintendo DS has become one of Nintendo's most recognizable and fun portable consoles in gaming history, and while there were a lot of original titles and IPs created for this console, there were also plenty of home console releases that were ported it in one way or another.
In this video I'm gonna talk about the interesting topic of DS Ports that you may or may not have known existed, and which I personally enjoyed a lot back in the day, as I still do today. I hope you enjoy the video!

The Pac is back, baby.
Crash of the titans ds is such a gem
Pacman world 3 was....
A game
It sure was.
I remember playing Rooms: The Main Building on the DS years ago, unaware that it was originally a PC game until I discovered it on Steam.
Fun fact: The DS version of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing was ported to Android and iOS but with lesser content.
@@spongebobfan78 Really? Huh, didn't know this
i remember buying Rabbids Go Home DS thinking it would be just like the wii port ( i was 10), i was really surprised when i saw a puzzle game instead
@@Canarye I played Rabbids on the DS too! I remember the minigames fondly.
The Sims DS had an entire open world! What's Sims 4's exscuse?
Didn't know about these ports! Nice watch
Thank you!
The Sims 3 on the DS give me so many memories.
4:52 pvz1 came out for PC first before mobile (i believe the mobile port released in 2010) though 2 years before 2011 would've been 2009 (when the pc version was released) so is this a mobile game or not
I actually had no idea it was originally for PC, my bad. Although to me it was always mostly popular because of the android version.
I HAVE PLANTS VS ZOMBIES AND CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 3 ON MY MODDED 3DS💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Amazing
Good video, though I strongly disagree with what you said about Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing DS having the feeling of the console version. As someone who played that game all day in the past (and sometimes rarely still plays it,) I can say that these games are NOTHING alike. The DS remake is really small and doesn't have much content whatsoever and pretty much nearly all of the tracks besides Seaside Hill are completely butchered in the DS remake. They also don't have that much music which is what I liked the most about the game, though the music that it does have is really well remade.
I agree that a lot was scaled down compared to console version obviously, asking for a DS port to have the exact same feel as the console version is pretty much impossible, but I did feel this game had a lot nailed down from it and that's ultimately what I appreciate about a port.
👍🏻
The Sims 3 on DS is better than the 3DS version
