I main Rey, as I enjoy her play style and I desire to master her dueling capability in spite of there being other Lightsaber duelists (Anakin, Luke, and Obi) who would are probably better than her when judging them by the amount of offensive and defensive stats, and abilities they have and by the applications of how they can be utilized by contrast to Rey’s.
@@Reysious One question though, how do I do a jump swing? I try to jump low but I wasn’t able to get any hits. Do I tap A button and then swing? Or do I hold the A button a little and then swing?

When finishing off rey's dash strike, i do a jump swing into an animation cancel, into a normal swing.
I don't fight alot of good reys but 1v1d one the other day n she WORKED ME. finishing move was a dash strike into a hook swing. I blocked the dash but I think thats the point. It made me stay still and wide open for the hook

Awesome video! What level is your sensitivity at? And what do you recommend?
I'm on mouse and keyboard, so whatever my first mouse option is and about 85% in-game sensitivity, for controller I'd recommend 100% sensitivity

I use Street Fighter, Damaging Strike and Opportunist for Rey. I tried the Balance star card in the past but her stamina drains way too fast for me. I was thinking of maybe trying Balance, Street Fighter and Damaging Strike

When you are using her dash strike, are you holding down the block button? Because when you do, you’re able to turn your camera quicker as opposed to not holding it down since it counts as “zoomed sensitivity” and not “soldier sensitivity”
don't think I do, but turning camera is not really an issue for me anyways, since I play with mouse and keyboard

So would you recommend the extra dodge charge at the cost of stamina? How noticeable is it?
definitely, you might notice the stamina drain at start, but trust me, haivng 3 dodges is worth it
It’s not noticeable, insight makes up for it. N if you run out you can use dashing strike to run away, or continue an attack even bait someone into dropping their guard if not, run around in the dash strike n you stamina regains while you’re opponent is still blocking the dashing strike, n when the animation ends keep swinging n they stamina usually runs out by now

The best tactic for a new Rey player is to wait for the director to give you a buff while nerfing everyone else
1. Can you really activate inside while being hitspammed by two opponents?
2. What happens to the opponent if you hit his block with dash strike? Knockdown but no damage?

1. I strongly recommend not trying to use mind trick while being spammed, but in theory it should be possible to use it while being spammed, but might depend on the timing.
2. Usually nothing, and your dash strike gets canceled, but if you turn your camera in the right way, it will break the block, and in that case it will damage and knockdown your opponent.

Actually "Opportunist" card doesn't just apply to Rey Mind Trick.
If the opponent is knocked down by any means (DASH STRIKE, pull, push, obi mind trick), they take the extra 15 damage for about 3-4 seconds (around same length as rey mind trick).
IK, but at least for 1v1 duels that fact isn't too useful

If you use Rey’s card Opportunist, knockdowns count as an immobilizing effect

You probably improved them but keep that crosshair on the enemy when you hookswing I notice it sorta flailed everywhere by the time you land a little more accuracy and you would hit those

What’s the fastest way to max Rey
The fastest way, would be Coop Missions on Starkiller Base, if you camp near the tunnel were they spawn, in the second phase (close to the commadn post on the right) and dash strike in to the tunnel wehn they spawn there, you get a lot of points, just be carefull to not die, if you have a Finn close to you with big deal active, you will have a lot of damage reduction and faster health regen, so you would not have to worry about dying in that scenario. Otherwise I'd say HVV, or if you are good at getting a hero in large scale, you might try that too.

@@joshuarutherford466 I would recommend to play with a high sensitivity too. I don't play on controller though, but I know some pretty good players that do, and they all play with a high sensitivity.
