There might be a 3D Blender tutorial based around this design in the foreseeable future đ
Hey. Your process is too long. Just use the built in Gradient function in Adobe illustrator.
I used that for the background, but for some reason I didn't think to use it for the actual design, not sure why it slipped my mind.
thanks for the tutorial

Great video
Thanks very much as always!
Hi! NICE JOBđđ
what is the typeface you used?đ
funny how gradients became such a thing :) back in design school 25 years ago, it was litterly forbidden to use gradients. but i like them nowadays
Thats cool, but why gradient became âforbidâ in that time?
@@grimoireen well they weren't forbidden in general, of course you could use them. but the design school i made there were only old dinosaurs graphic designers inspired by and only by the bauhaus, mĂŒller brockmann, adrian frutiger, max bill and alike. therefore a lot of things were forbidden.
@@markushamster5943 its interesting to see a journey about something, for example, like this one
@@grimoireen yes it is. i think tecnical evolution has a lot to do with thos evil gradients. i think only after the internet/smartphones and people using screens in all sizes all day long, something like those high-end-gradients become a thing. because they look that much better in rgb then in cmyk.
I think they were also forbidden because the technology to create them was kind of new so everyone was throwing a gradient on everything. Kind of like Comic Sans and Papyrus fonts are forbidden now.
imply amazing as always. I may get into Blender in the foreseeable future too đđœđ
Nice
very helpful video
Thanks a lot man

I did have a paid critique feedback service, which I will launch again soon. But I have so little time to offer in-depth feedback to people for free all day.
Apple did a similar thing with the new iPhone 13 wallpapers. Satori â€ïž

I'm having issues with banding, how do you get rid of that in illustrator CC
Great design! I would like to make an O using this guide, but when I add a shape on top I cannot subtract it. I click on subtract in Pathfinder but nothing happens. Is that because the shape is a mesh? Any workarounds? Thanks, love your content :)

Hi. Thanks for the tutorial. I have a question. The stroke is not a vector, right? I am getting pixlated curve when I zoom in. Is this happening to all, and how can this be avoided
varun krishna all things in illustrator are vectors. Iâm not much of a pro in illustrator but I do know that some people get pixelated curves when they use a CMYK colors for their document (it says on the top of the do what it is) hope this helps!
Most eager for this one thoughđ
Hope it was inspiring:)
@@SatoriGraphics yes like always
wow
đđđ
nice
Thanks a lot!
you deserve my sub. take it! haha. thanks for this tutorial.
I made it by drawing an s shape and then using it as the spine of a blend
Thanks for this! How do you output for print without banding, fighting with that one.
I find duplicating the shapes, merging and blurring them with opacity turned down helps - itâs mostly just down to the printer though really.
@@stephaniehs1323 thank you, Iâll see how that works

when I make circle then select with direct selection tool I see stroke in outlines only not in middle strokes do you know why?
Go to Stroke panel > Align Stroke > And choose the first box (Align Stroke to center).
What font do you use for the "2020" text in the video thumbnail? That font looks good!
If I recall that is Aileron
I'm your big fan from Russia and I wish you had much more subs and more and more people knowed about you. I've got a blog and want to get a permission from you to put an idea of your video into it. I will put a link to your channel so as not to misappropriate it to me and let people know original source.
Can we make R or C around this design.
@Satori Graphics - as you mention at 1:00, apply gradient along the stroke doesn't active if one doesn't select "align stroke to center" in appearance ->stroke ->align stroke.
I've noticed several such kind of details that aren't explained properly in your tutorials :(
I guess is version issue
I use 2019 have same question
When I scale the ellipse down to remove the small white circle, the small white circle is being scaled down but not removed, canât seem to find what Iâm doing wrong, any idea? (I am holding shift while doing it)
Same for me. I ended up changing the stroke weight (in points) to match the size of the circle.

using create outlines on gradient objects have a negative visual effect on my work.
hi, its a long time ,i found u . can u help us ? how can i use gradient color from any image please
What do you use Ai cc 2019?
Cc2020
and also why when exporting as png in illustrator, keeps eating all the negative space including some of the design itself. Not pleasing to the eye
