@@RiasGremoryS54the s58 is an amazing motor. They’re making 1kwhp on stock internals. They’re both great platforms but in my opinion i couldn’t pick lol. I want one of each and an 8y rs3. They’re all so good it’s crazy. The Mercedes is more of a highway cruiser and the bmw is more of a track monster. Although with the new g80 comp xdrive they’re quick as shit at the strip as well. Hands down bmws best motor they ever made.

The AMG will always be faster it all depends on boost level, and the v8 is bigger and makes more torque. Remember the c63 is a 2015 car, the market for mid size sedans had less hp than today so it would need 2020 stuff.

@@GhousempcFastest G80 is running a 8.37 second 1/4 mile in just like 2.5-3 years of development, name me a single AMG running that running that. The fastest AMG I know is Glenn james E55 which is nowhere near stock block lmao using a 3.8L Whipple running 8.48 seconds.

Good close race and the results were expected with the weight being the same but the AMG’s extra 100hp made the difference.

Great runs. That AMG gets out and MOVES on the top-end! Shows how far cars have come from 2017-2022.... in just 5 years that a stock turbo I6 can roll with an upgraded turbos V8.
They ran like hell! Impressive to see that the BMW is nearly as fast as the Mercedes with OEM Turbos.

Upgraded turbo c63 vs stock turbo g80 and g80 was neck and neck up until 145mph now put same pure1000 turbo on the g80 and g80 will win
I've seen a klm pt6870 on a G80 make 880whp with an untouched engine and trans, whilst turned down.. G80's are nuts.
But the amg still sounds leaps and bounds better 😁

Stock turbo's 3.0 vs upgradet turbo's 4.0....not a bad race for the BMW.
Gotta remember that the C63’s stock turbos are small, it needs larger turbos just to compete once they’re both tuned.
The S58 has pretty large stock turbos
