What sort of potential lines and star force levels are neeeded would be very helpful as well. Like obviously the event gear is easy enough to get to 10* max, but are you 17* for the cras and boss equips ? And just going for epic 6% or higher cube potentials ?
I'm going to pin this comment because I can see this being a common question, hopefully you don't mind! For all the event gear, you can leave it at epic 1L stat. For the CRA items in the final config with the Absolab gear, I would recommend getting the CRA and Absolab armours to 16*/17* (on event) because the attack value is so strong. As for their potentials, if it is just a bossing mule I wouldn't go further than 2L Unique. For the Lucky Hat, I would leave it on Epic potential, and at MAX 16*. This is because if you were to keep progressing up into the Arcane set, you will need to go back to a CRA hat. The Lucky Hat actually can be transfer hammered into the CRA hat, which is why we leave it at Epic potential and 16* max. Hope this helps!
A tip for newer players on maple, to hopefully save some of your potential scrolls. On the bottom right of your inventory, there's a blue hammer that lets you transfer gears from a lower level item to a higher one. Potential scrolls are one of the few things in Heroic that aren't the easiest to come by, and I wasted way too much of them when i first started because i didn't know how to fully utilize this mechanic. Don't make my mistake. Despite the maple sets replacing most of the slots, I would still recommend collectinging a set of utgard with potential you find from monsters (2 overalls). You can transfer them up into CRA/Ranmaru gear, both of which are level 150 set of gears. Overalls can transfer into top or bottom, so you want two overalls to transfer. Hard Ranmaru drops gears, including but not limited to shoulder, gloves, capes, and shoes, which can then be transferred into the lv 160 absolab gear in the final loadout seen on this video. Hard Ranmaru is also a good source of daily mesos, so kill him daily (along with normal Arkarium). If you have the mesos, you can starforce them up to 16 without safeguarding. There's also a starforcing event at the last sunny sunday of this event to help mitigate costs. This saves you a bit of money from starforcing lower level gear and, more importantly, your very limited supply of potential scrolls that the maple items will probably be eating up.
@@Hitman9000No problem! Glad i can help! i should also add, this transfer trick also works with the maple onyx treasure set's level 100 and 110 gear. Level 80 gear can transfer into the Onyx hat and level 100 gear can transfer into the Treasure set. Drops from mobs level 80-89 range should drop a level 80 hat, and 90-99 for shoes, gloves, and weapon. Mobs in the Nihal Desert are in this level range. You can save 4 additional potential scrolls this way with a bit of farming.
Also if youre not using the leaf currency from your daily Mayple check in (the snowglobe/event buff icon) you get some routine leaf currency as rewards, specifically 11 days (Days 1,4,7,10,13,17,21,25,28,31, and 34) you get at least 600 Leaf coupons to claim and use on any character. The Mayple Memoria is also account wide so if you unlock something on one class, it is available to your other characters who did the event pre quest. You also get 5 free slots of choice so you could do this in as little as 3 days, or 2 days if your there like right before a reset. So thats 11 characters you wouldnt even have to get leaves farmed on if you didnt want to but still wanted the gear for them later. Definitely a great event for mules

good set combos and great for new accs lol. unfortunately i already created 47/49 chars that all are in the middle of gathering gollux lmao. but i guess ocd wouldve made me hate have certain classes miss out on the set since my mules run on jp/solidlux/boss/sw/wings of fate

Just a question, why not the Onyx Maple cape and 11th second weapon instead of Onyx second weapon and 11th cape? Yes, the 11th anniversary cape can be upgrade (Star) 10 times and the Onyx only to 8 but the Onyx cape has a base stats of 7 ATT and M-ATT same class stat which totally compensate the 2 stars of difference between them and the secondary weapon from 11th just have higher plain stats than the onyx one.
Hmm, I feel like with proper legion, I can just fund the boss mule with legendary emblem and secondary +300 nodes. Trade a cra carry. Get cra and boss set. Trade lomien and I'm there already. Would this method propose any improvement over the way I'm doing it.
If you have a strong legion and have access to carries and nodes, you can probably skip this set up. This set up's main strength is that it's super accessible to everyone while still be quite decent.

Classes with easy boost nodes, good survivability or utility, and DPS classes tend to be my preference. Marksman is a great example with its low CD burst, simple boost nodes, and has a dummy to make Lotus an easy clear!

AH exist, so you can skip all process and buy arcane weapon which stat surpass those set effect same with armor-acc equipment. For gms, we also have totem it more optimal to farm their main instead.

The one problem im facing with is that idk if i should get all 3 event rings for my main or have that final loadout with the 7 piece boss set. i wouldnt be able to have both boss rings and the 3 event rings along with the provided gear given. Is there a work around? Would you say the full 4 set loadout would be better than 3 event rings or vice versa?
With this load out, you’re trading the extra damage from the abso weapon in favour of 30% boss damage. It’s quite comparable and probably won’t make a big difference for bossing mules
Guys this strat is from KMS; that region does not have gollux drops. Is this configuration worse than with having reinforced gollux? Is there a way to make this strat even more cracked by squeezing in 3 gollux pieces?

Swap cape and secondary. Onyx cape has 6 more attack and the treasure secondaries are better than onyx. Also some classes cant get an onyx secondary

For a boss mule, you probably won’t feel a difference. For a main, it’s a bit suboptimal but you can use this set as a starting point for cheap!

You can always use the event rings as meso drop gear on the main

Nodes will help out a lot with the damage for CRA, this is just showing an alternative armour set you can use with and without CRA
