keeping up stacks on hayato REALLY is stressful between bosses, especially with boss cutscenes/mechanics(slime). They gotta change it so bad, 30s is terrible 😥
the tech is to station at a mob map so you can tap it before going to the next boss

- during starforce events how much meso did you typically have saved up (from not farming) to use on your hlotus mules if your mains all 22?
- did you manually train your mules past 250? jw cuz ive just been moving onto the next mule after i dailystory one to 250 and i do intend on pushing some to 260 for 6th job

-if going for 21*s, i would expect to spend at least 10b per item, so 70b on a regular 5/10/15 to 21* 3 cra and 4 abso equips. you can also take it slower and go for full 18-19* which will still be a comfortable hlotus clear, maybe 30b just to 19* cra and safeguard tap kanna/slime rings, dom pend, black bean mark and other stuff to 19*. even if saving for shiny sf id save as much as you can because there were times where i barely saved enough and if that character didn't hit id want to give up on it.
-id say more than half of my 260 characters were from hyper burning, dailies, and mag pots! if pushing to 260 from 250 id definitely just do arcane/tenebris dailies + 7 monster park a day and it'll be more time efficient than grinding with exp coupons
Bossing is one of the things that keeps me in maplestory. I enjoy learning the ins and outs of jobs. I wish I could do it more but I'm stuck on reg server. :( Have to limit myself to one job per stat and don't really have the time to start from scratch on reboot. I had a friend switch onto reboot from reg and he made it almost to 3k legion in just one of these OP events lol. It’s a great time to play reboot!!! It’s such a good investment in the long run if you want to enjoy maple

Very insightful video! You actually chose all of the hardest classes as boss mules, bros got max hands 💪. I definitely feel you when it comes to preferring lesser effort classes when you run them for so long. My favorite has been 2 min classes that have all CDs aligned like hero, BM, marksman, pathfinder, etc. Curious what your thoughts are on the more popular boss mules. Also curious what your income is looking like with just bossing alone weekly?
It'll also be super helpful if you can make a video on how to transition NLomien mules to HLomien mules, like if it's worth pushing absolab past 17, and what gear do you consider to be done. I don't think there's any content on youtube for that right now.
2 min classes definitely feel nice for a bossing mule vs 3 min as long as you aren't too weak! the popular boss mules like bucc and hero are definitely popular for a reason, i don't think they're overrated but rather live up to their expectation for being good. at the same time, id pick ark over hero any day even if it's weaker because i dont enjoy playing hero. my weekly income is only around 25b/week with many libbed chars because i refuse to do hdam if it's longer than 3 bursts lol :(

😂i wasn't ACTUALLY expecting aran to get remastered first, personally i dont like it so far yet but it's still in the test server so we could see big changes

Who would you recommend to main out of night lord or hayato? I love hayato aesthetics but also think keeping up with phantom blade stacks might become annoying later on. Maybe that can be overlooked with his mobility lol. Awesome video
it really depends on how much you enjoy playing them! enjoyment > damage any day
- but at the same time id be careful since there have been times where i liked a class a lot at first but didn't like it later on since it felt annoying/repetitive/bad mobbing etc.
- if you're already leaning towards one you probably already know the answer! both are in a good state right now and are good all around so there's no losing IMO

Hi, is there a reason you list stats instead of combat power? Unless u made the video b4 the change.
Also, any thoughts on doing how to play guides for like ur top 10 classes? It could include everything from keyboard & burst setups. I have a NW approaching 50k stats (78M cp) but just doesn't seem to have ur damage so I'm looking for what I'm doing wrong lol
- this vid took a long time to make (also lazy) so like you said everything was done before combat power was out in gms!
- id really like to make guides on those classes but i haven't gotten there yet since it's difficult to cater to all experience of players.
For example, newer-mid game players will want to know about how to gear and learn about what skills to focus on. Meanwhile more experienced players will benefit more if i showcase more advanced movement and niche tech with the class. it would just suck to put a lot of time into a video for it to only be slightly useful
- the only thing i can think of is maybe node levels and/or ied since those don't factor into combat power >.< otherwise i cant think of anything else

Really informative for libbing / lotus heart mules. What would you say is a good level / symbol / node req for a hlotus mule?
thank you! for regular hlotus mules i think it's nice to stop symbol dailies when they take more than 1-2 weeks to level up (should be +5 to 6k stat from symbols). either 235 or 250 is a good stopping point for all 6 symbols or getting the extra fd from reboot passive. then for nodes, at least have boost nodes maxed and maybe the important skill nodes at 15-20+.

Question, with Lara it looked like you were erupting the veins to ignore the knock back, is this a mechanic I missed to the vein system in the class?
yes, however it is a hyper skill passive that you have to put a point into. it'll give you about 1.5-2s of superstance every time you consume a vein

This is pretty accurate for my experience as well. I have bossing mules on the more difficult side as well because I have a monkey brain and need to feel entertained while im playing it. Cadena and Zero really dont have the best damage to effort ratio. People always talk up cadenas damage, but I am pressing a fuck ton of button and for the effort required I am looking for atleast merc levels of damage, if not more. Glad im not the only one that feels like the damage should be higher lol.
Same story for Zero. Very fun class, it even makes you feel like you are doing more damage than you really are when you see all of those lines xd

cadena effort is hella relatable, maybe its cus my other comparison for bossing is a DA but the burst it has is pretty nuts
I play Aran as my main and Ark as my bossing mule ever since it was out on MSEA. To me Ark mashes more buttons especially when combo-ing basic charge drive with all the other attack skills or ominous nightmare with the other attack skills in spectre mode. Ever since 6th job update, Aran's bossing uses beyond blade without final blow for optimum damage output. It's only during Adrenaline boost that final blow + beyond blade combo deals the optimum damage. Ark is definitely one of my favourite characters, but the heavy reliance on spectre mode makes it less consistent to play. However, Aran's mobility, life drain, and super stance definitely tops it for me
i'm fairly new, looking to main either a NW/DW in the upcoming hyperburn.
This video really helped me clear up some doubts i had on choosing a class regarding skill visuals and fluidity.
i'm heavily contemplating DW but i heard the damage falls off late into the game, so im reconsidering NW...

DW damage does not fall off at all in the late game, but their burst is a bit back-loaded. I don't think it's a problem at all also considering the party support it gives. Both DW and NW are good choices so pick what's more fun to you!
DW will always have support. Their damage is still good, it's mainly the backloaded issue and their origin being awful, but damage changes every patch.
Do you have a recommendation for a class that might feel similar to khali with fluidity and mobility but is easier/less buttons?
bucc for sure! most other classes that are similar to khali will probably have a lot of buttons or be hard to play as a trade off for having many movement options

for aran you dont need to final blow b4 beyond blade to maximize damage atm. because of thjs you can hold down beyond blade instead of spamming it w/o delay

How much stat + atk is required generally for a 15min clear? (assuming max nodes too)
there are a lot of factors including star force, maxed boost nodes vs maxed all skill nodes, arcane wep, damage up time, 6th job, and access to wh/bt buffs but in general probably something like
- 35k with maxed boost nodes, low skill nodes, mostly 18-19* items, abso wep, no 6th job, needs practice on uptime
- or 30k with all maxed nodes, lots of star force, decent uptime
- or 25k on a top tier class with all maxed nodes, 7+ 21* items, good uptime

I've only tried both up to hlomien/hluwill but not endgame~ f/p is a lot better as a hlomien mule than nlomien because it's much better at high investment compared to low investment. Pathfinder is very mobile so it can be pretty fun and comfortable if you are good at dodging! I wouldn't say either are super op but they are definitely worth playing if you have fun with them :D

So we get another hyberburn so im thinking of bishop/ark/merc (i got lvl 220 nw so i wont open another), what do you think will be best for solo bossing and progression?
assuming solo bossing only, bishop will probably have the worst experience early on because their solo damage doesn't start ramping up until they have a lot of int. merc is harder to learn than ark but will probably give better results pre 6th job and 2k+ nodes so it'll depend on how much you want to challenge yourself!

Ark is nice because i play kain as main so i think it similar as game play i think.
So for the long run what will give me more results bishop or ark? Tbh bishop look easier to play and you get more exp and drop and easy to get in party for the hard bosses

yes i always go absos ^_^ for a 15 min run, mostly 18-19* items with arcane wep, 4 set gollux, good wse, maxed boost nodes and some into skill nodes should be good enough! stuff like getting 1k+ arcane force for stat, level 250 or 6th job, and getting wild hunter buff is optional but helps!

i think it's really good!! easy to play and dpm classes are good for boss mules
what would you rate Kanna for the 3 ratings you set for each class?
people with big egos say they're good
Fluidity:
- 8/10 if you use filter keys and built the muscle memory to press mana balance frequently
- 3/10 with sticky keys or you run out of mana. kanna can't tele-cast unlike most other mages so if you don't use filter keys you automatically lose 0.5s to 1s of attacking every time you tp
Damage to effort ratio:
- if you are keeping up with current endgame (7k+ fragments), 5/10 since tengu weaving while paying attention to barriers and summons, binding for your party while doing the boss's mechanics, and keeping track of mana bar when quick-charging domain. origin damage is good though.
- solo bossing 2/10. low damage on top of high effort = bad score.
Bossing weekly:
- 6/10 if 70k stat running ctene
- sorry/10 for anything else

Hayato feels way better to boss week to week when you dont need to keep up stacks. Mine is at 40k and it goes through every low tier boss really quick. Strong low cd skills and amazing mobility, damage is pretty good now after the buff. Pretty good kit for hlomian too, have super stance for lotus and can get damian out of the air. The burst is a pain tho since it has a back loaded burst. I would put mine S tier.
Not sure if i am biased but ill put hero in SS (kinda want to drop it to S becuase its boring) because class is op and Shadower is definitely a SS, class is built for Lomian. Dont like my DB tho will put it around C-B

ya i know it sounds a bit misleading ^^ but ark is keeping up with my liberated ds with 4k more stat and a ror4 so it's not a total exaggeration
Hmm I was thinking of burning ark, kain, or a mercedes. I feel like the lightning edge change made merc movement decently worse, even though it can get by just fine with some basic gust and air stalls. Also the skill queue of combo kinda bothers me, having to wait for skills to come out, so the class honestly doesn't feel *that* fluid but that's just me. Love the aesthetics. I enjoy hoyoung a lot, but the burst buffs can definitely come out faster as well as resetting vortex. Aside from that though, it feels very fluid (on low ping at least, seems to matter). I'm surprised you find Aran difficult. Currently you don't need final blow -> bb anymore (until fb gets a mastery) but the adrenaline stacks of the class is annoying for boss mules.
While the lightning edge change took away a lot of its uses that were especially helpful in lotus, vhilla, the responsiveness it has now brings a lot to the table as well. Class fluidity is a problem while you're not fully comfortable with the combo system, but it does get much better when you've got the muscle memory down.
yeah lightning edge change was such an L 😭you have to be very familiar with merc to combo with single inputs, i personally mash with 2 hands so fluid is very subjective. all the classes you listed are great tho!

the ones i didn't mention here that i think are very good: hero, dawn warrior, da. the other ones are probably just about average. but keep in mind damage isn't everything and it doesn't matter what you're playing if you don't have fun with it

I was just wondering if you just use phantom blade as mobbing/filler and no strike arrow at all? thanks for the video again and this channel, it's motivating to see basically a fully decked out account of boss mules!
@@dogmaplestory no worries ^^ strike arrow is a first job skill if I remember correctly, I wouldn't really use any of the execute skills for mobbing because either long cd/short hitboxes~

they're both very different and imo it depends on what you're looking for. since you're asking it like that id just recommend either 1) lazy/less effort = pathfinder or 2) more learning/rewarding = mercedes
I tried hard to be able to play Mercedes but I just can’t wrap my head around weaving in Stunning Strikes after Wrath and Unicorn. Feels clunky and I keep screwing it up. Not sure how I can play Cadena but not Merc 🥲
imo cadena is noticeably different in terms of movement since 80% of your combo can be used for movement to dodge the boss's attacks, while for merc you're stationary while using stunning -> enlil -> stunning -> unicorn, personally i dont do that set of combos until after ive baited an attack. as an example, if lotus is about to push, you can do spikes (knockback resist) -> leaf (after push) -> enlil -> stunning -> unicorn -> stunning -> lightning edge and it flows pretty well!
