Actually they are much more involved than people used to think... Once they even throw their music papers to show they didnt like the final results xD and they are open to support performances, for example clapping with mahmood or saying "alè" at occidentalis karma, wearing sunglasses to mimic the "cool guy" singing etc

I'm Italian and I knew this version because I watched Sanremo Festival only because they partecipate, and when I listened to that part I felt the same thing. I have goosebumps everytime I listen to it. Pure emotions and beauty.

I liked the black ones better. Were a great match with an orchestra setting.
The resulting mix in 2 costumes was not tot my taste, too confusing...
Transparent and black outfits are made by Etro, an italian fashion brand, as the leather outfits of the final ESC. You can see a mix of outfits 'cause the festival lasts 5 days and they weared different suites, obviously.

Con i violini è pazzesca, meno male ceh all'eurovision non c'erano altrimenti spaccavano anche nelle giurie.

Ho I miei dubbi sulle giurie, hanno un modo di dare i voti molto strano, dando importanza a fattori come : politica, confini, e, se hanno deciso di far vincere quella canzone, o, boh, quel determinato Paese, tutte vanno con il voto, nella stesa direzione, succede sempre così e stato con il Portogallo, con l'Olanda, ed anche quest 'anno, stava andando così, o con la Francia, o la Svizzera. Non dimenticherò la partecipazione del gruppo italiano :il Volo, che furono battuti da un cantante svedese, che cantava una banale, e commerciale canzoncina in inglese, nemmeno nella sua lingua, ed era anche belloccio, aveva i musvoldtyo al punto giusto, un bel tipo. Quello della giuria lo trovo un voto noioso, molte Nazioni danno il voto non per la canzone, ma per questioni di confini, di interessi vari, come quest' anno.e' avvenuto tra la Grecia e Cipro, e viceversa, come la Moldavia con la Russia, è così via. Trovo che il voto del pubblico, sia più vero, più interessato alla musica, ed è quello che decreterà, poi il vero successo a livello commerciale e di odiens. È più, e più adrenalinico, eccitante, emozionante, specie quest 'anno, con certi Paesi e gruppi, come per l' Islanda, la Finlandia, l'Ucraina, che si sono contese il primo posto per un po'a vicenda......, adrenalinico, eccitante fino all' ultimo. E non lo dico perché ha vinto l'Italia, ma perché sono convinta di ciò! E anche il voto dell'Italia è stato da sciok! Questo è solo il mio modesto parere. Linda
Almeno quest'anno chi ha vinto ha avuto la risposta di pubblico anche dopo, con vendite e stream anche oltreoceano oltre che nel proprio paese e continente.
@@lindacucciniello8582 sono perfettamente d'accordo con te, i voti delle giurie sembrano guidati da strane logiche (a parte Cipro-Grecia, Russia-Moldavia per i quali ombre di dubbio non ce ne sono 😅🤷🏼♀️), però bisogna anche dire che sul voto del pubblico ha un peso molto importante la performance.
Ricordo l'anno in cui andò Francesco Gabbani ed era dato per vincente, le giurie fecero un disastro spingendo al massimo il portoghese (forse temendo il televoto?), ma purtroppo per lui anche il televoto andò male e non come si sperava, televoto facilmente condizionato da una performance televisiva non proprio brillante.
I Måneskin quest'anno sono riusciti a coniugare canzone, voce live e performance stratosferica, Damiano è riuscito veramente a "bucare" il video 😆........alla faccia di un Sobral che è riuscito a commentare che "la canzone non deve essere fuochi d'artificio"....i Måneskin hanno dimostrato il contrario 😁
Mi fa piacere sapere che questa versione piaceva di più anche ad altri. Credevo di essere l'unica. Quei violini ti danno i brividi.
Ma a parte le giurie, visto che il pubblico ancora ha delle buone taste, si merita di sentire l'orchestra.

verissimo! Incredibile la bellezza e la potenza degli strumenti classici (gli archi, soprattutto) che "sostengono" una canzone rock. Fa venire la pelle d'oca. Avessero potuto portare questa versione, metà del pubblico avrebbe pianto per l'emozione. (i violini durante l'assolo di basso e subito dopo, che sembrano prendere il volo per conto loro ma nello stesso tempo isi intrecciano perfettamente con il cantato, sono di una bellezza infinita. Un pensiero anche a chi ha fatto questo arrangiamento sublime. Ora la sparo grossa, ma... mi emoziona e lo sento potente e di una bellezza enorme e travolgente quasi come l'altissimo "O Fortuna" dei Carmina Burana)

Its actually 3 different performances put together(i think)! The first night performance (them wearing black), the 5th night performance (w/o confetti and them wearing see through) and the winners performance (orchestra dancing with them and Thomas climbing on top of Damiano with confetti)
Thank you, everyone! I knew the format of San Remo (my hubby's been watching for years) but wasn't thinking about that when I watched. Now it makes perfect sense. So was this edited version what they were judged on? Was one of them live (like in the sheer outfits they were in when they announced the winner)?
