  • According to many sources, China expects to address this issue with its type 004 carrier by launching it with a nuclear propulsion system. This will surely help the Chinese naval forces carry out diverse maritime operations, such as strike missions, air defense, surveillance, and amphibious warfare, on a global scale.

    Any carrier that has a ramp to launch planes has 2 restrictions, you are limited to fuel and weapons load. Do they know about how use their fighters in air combat where did they get the experience also how do they know how to fight a ship? Rookies

    There are questions regarding the available power for the catapult given the limited engine power output, also the boat can’t maintain the speed required for aircraft takeoff…. At the moment……

    China will need four or five decades to catch up with the US. 80 plus years of development and experience is why the US navy is always going to be far ahead of the Chinese.

    The titanium alloy propeller has been completed and revealed. It is 10 metres tall, twice the size of the USS Gerald R Ford Aircraft Carrier class propellers. The 110,000 Ton Aircraft Carrier is not a mere theoretical speculation. Theyre building it now section by section.

    It's a shame they don't talk about the scrapping of the two British aircraft carriers, since they have experience since at least the Second World War, and even so, they still cause problems...
    And is not copy. If it is everybody copies everybody, or would
    the detractors want them to wait another 50 years to make some thing just to be original, lined with Peking duck to have stealth capabilities, or to be submersible at the same time and fly.

    10 Nimitz carriers, 1 Ford class vs 1 real Chinese carrier
    with a bunch of Tonka toy aircraft. America is shaking in its boots.

  • @johnsilver9338
    @johnsilver9338 Před měsícem +1

    If Type 004 still has 2 aircraft elevators and 3 catapults like Type 003 it will still have a slower sortie rate than either a Ford or a Nimitz class supercarrier. On the other hand J-15 is the largest naval aircraft. So by footprint for every 2 J-15, 3 - 4 F-18E/F can be carried instead; or for every 3 J-15s, an equivalent of 5 - 6 F-18C/D or F-35C can be carried. Ergo the total number of aircraft carried are NOT the same.

      The front cover of carrier 004 #19 is wrong, it has 1x more aircraft lift then carrier 003 #18 Fujian. Channel strangely edit the image perhaps to instigate, cause arguments
      Other channels early in year, display the supposed link info with too deck design, quite few of them
      004 total of 3x aircraft lifts
      It is similar tonnage conventional powered basically suppose to be same as carrier 003
      But fully designed suite for EMALS
      Carrier 003 #18 Fujian was designed for a steam catapult but change mid way through construction paused for 1/2 year
      China EMALS runway is longer then steam catapult
      Because of that, carrier 003 its nose is shorter, deck is compressed, smaller with a longer EMALS runway unplanned initially
      Carrier 004 will have a longer nose to cater for EMALS basically the two are of same class /type

    • @james_l4337
      @james_l4337 Před měsícem

      Yes, carrier 003 will certainly be hampered due to her design to have less lift, Millennium channel already said it is just so strange why?
      If China is making it why hamper the carrier with less lifts?
      Only those silly top brass will know also, their indetermination, of safe, slow vs upgrade to suddenly bot on EMALS although it is clear already EMALS is usable & still the head tell build carrier made for steam catapult
      Carrier 004 supposedly to correct those top brass hesitation & convulted decision
      Carrier 005 #20 is nuclear-powered but it will be beyond 2030 to start see any parts
      That will be Thorium nuclear-powered, she already mastered & have this mineral deposit in China
      China will not go with Uranium

    Their launch system is a total failure. Maybe too much Tofu Technology. Same thing could be said with their aircraft. Failing mega dam, sky scrapers and cheesy computer chips.

  • @anthonyware4033
    @anthonyware4033 Před 27 dny

    How can it be the most dangerous when it does not work properly and has many failing components. They are trying to use a magnetic catapult system, it is lucky if it can launch 1 aircraft without breaking. Most of the system fail in a short amount of time and the hull is made out of inferior metals.

    They've got one decent carrier, and it's a straight knock-off!, with pilots who have very limited carrier operations experience and a flight deck crew with the same drawbacks, they have limited underway replenishment experience, damage control experience, etc., The U.S. Has 10 active supercarriers in service with an 11th ( U.S.S. JOHN F. KENNEDY CVN 80) that is projected to be in the fleet by next year, plus The U.S. has more carrier operations experience, more experienced squadrons and flight deck crews, not to mention ships operations crews than any other Country on Earth, so how exactly is China's half baked, knock-off carrier a threat?
