    Perfect instructions, Thank you. Part of me says - Do it, but the other part says head over to your dim sum restaurant and just enjoy it. It’s not an expensive item for all the steps. However an inner voice is now calling me to try my hand based on your instructions.

    Finally, a person who actually knows how. This is the third recipe on line I tried.. I used simple syrup which I had on hand for cocktails, added the soy sauce. It worked.

    Hey this is so cool, I was just binge-watching chinese street food videos and trying to veganise the recipes myself, but there you go, quality vegan channel covering asian food. These rice noodles look amazing!

    Omg all three kinds look so delicious!! Actually, it is possible to make these in a microwave too by pouring a thin layer of dough on to a slightly greased plate. I know this is definitely not authentic (and I really appreciate it that you show the authentic method ;)) but it's an option if you don't have the equipment to steam. A friend from Guangdong showed me how to make them that way :)

    2:30 If you remove the rack with holes and THEN put the steamer cloth on, then you won't burn your hands.

    If you were to fry the plain rice rolls, how would you recommend that one would go about it?

    • @itslizmiu
      @itslizmiu  Před 5 lety +2

      Falleg0Livse after steaming just pan fry the plain noodle rolls until lightly golden brown and crispy! Generally you’d only fry the tops and bottoms and frying doesn’t really work with the big rolls :)

    • @LygarZeroX
      @LygarZeroX Před 4 lety

      Approximately 5 and a half cups of water for a 16 oz bag of rice flour or one of the 16 oz dedicated flours for this dish. The Baisha brand Flour for Wet Rice Paper is a good one to use. that one contains instructions on the back if needed.
