    We built this DIY Arrow Yardsaver Shed in 8 hours. We picked it up from Lowes for $290. We needed cheap extra storage for all of our tools that are currently in the garage. This project was thought to be simple, but ended up almost being more than we could chew for 1 day!
    ** We apologize for the audio bugs, we're working with new sound gear and will have it fixed by the next video :) **

    An excellent how-to-video, congratulations! My quandary are the cross members for the doors; they are positioned X-d over each other atop that door latch frame, so i guess I have to squish them down to comply with the directions.? I agree with the comments about the metal being flimsy as the screws strip out so very fast; I have pop-riveted (so far) 2 of the X members, and will most probably do the same with others. Thank you. Harry :0)

    We put together the 4x10 shed over 2 days and it was a PIA. Nothing really difficult, but a millions screws, sometimes stuff didnt line up perfectly which cost us time. Many times after you insert screws you then have to back them out to add another piece, I had to drill my own holes on the center roof panel support beam. I am 100% sure we did everything correctly, but those holes were not close to lining up. Definitely need to wear gloves for some of the stuff as that sheet metal will slice your hands up. It is not possible for 1 person to assemble the 4x10 shed, so dont even try.

    The CDX board you used for the bottom. Did you just use 1 full sheet or did you cut 2 of them to length. I cant find it bigger than 4x8 and it needs to be 51" wide right?

    • @BrocAndAimee
      @BrocAndAimee  Před 3 lety +1

      We actually cut 2 strips at 7.5" off the short (4') end (so we had two 48"x7.5") and used those to make up the extra couple of inches. We could do this since the board is 96" long and we only needed it 81" long. Hope this helps! (And makes sense, we can email a photo if you need! tramopolis@gmail.com)

    I have the 4x10 shed coming in a day or 2 and it is going into a space that is 5ft wide. I would have to take down part of a fence to put the shed together where it will permanently stay. Is it possible to build it and then carry it 10 ft to its final spot? or would it be too heavy?

    • @BrocAndAimee
      @BrocAndAimee  Před 3 lety

      Two people could definitely move it no problem. It's actually pretty lightweight in comparison to other sheds. We don't live in a windy area but if you do it's recommended to get shed anchors (long ground screws you attach to the shed so it doesn't move) or at least drill it to whatever base you use.

    Your shed isn't aluminium, it's very thin mild steel which has been galvanised before being epoxy coated, except for the frame which is galvanised but not coated with epoxy afterwards.
    These structures can suffer from condensation, which can drip onto and damage contents.
