I mean to be fair when you think about the amount of women trying to be comedians that wear a hijab in the uk it's very slim so that would explain it.
@Cian MacGana I do not think you can match the ones I usually watch ( Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams…etc), the starters have to start somehow.

Such a refreshing comedian, making light of situations, such as being a Muslim, airport security etc. Alot of comedians these days shy away from controversial subjects as they don't want to be classed as 'racist' or because they don't want to offend 'snowflakes', well we definitely need more people like her, that openly speak their mind.
Or, y'know, it's actually safe to joke about your own ethnic group's struggles because then you're not just being a dick to minorities
She's not doing it because she dislikes Islam she's making fun of the people who are racist towards her. She's allowed to poke fun at her struggles. I wouldn't be allowed to make some of the jokes because I'm not a hijabi.
The best cultural jokes come from the people within the culture. The best Irish jokes come from the Irish, the best Scottish jokes from the Scots, etc. Mind you, there are people everywhere who can't laugh at themselves.
She is safe to do that because she's a Muslim. Everyone else has to shut their mouths or get cancelled.
@@chrissiesparrow3550 your not a 'hijabi'. First off it's hijab, secondly a hijab is a head scarf used by women of the Muslim faith. So the comedian is a Muslim NOT a hijabi. Maybe educate yourself about other faiths/cultures etc that way you won't come across as an uneducated racist

Imagine the guts it takes to be a Muslim woman who observes Islamic body covering and maintains relations with her family and Islamic community and yet be able to do a stand-up in a public platform, use some profanity and talk about uncomfortable subjects, with wit, humor and intellect!!! A woman like this deserves praise just for the boundaries and barriers aline she has managed to break and still persevere and be able to practise what she believes in.
So big-hearted and open-minded of all the westerners and others who've commented here supporting a funny and intelligent Muslim woman, who to hundreds and thousands of unevolved Muslim men is just an object with 3 roles : sex - when he wants it, bearing and looking-after his children and most important of all having to fully looking after him - a grown adult - and his home with zero input from him.
So glad that Fatiha has managed to break this cycle and live an honourable life for herself, YOU GO GIRL and hope you go far!!!

What a relaxed, natural and strong character Fatiha is. The set was polished, unique and contained some real belters. It wasn't hilarious, it was better than that, under a tight reign and full of meaningful substance dressed up perfectly as comedy.
Being a Hijabi girl she is perfectly placed and will never run short of material.
It takes talent to put a performance like that together and she has bundles of that in hand. And has the punchlines to boot.

Yes ,I agree ...I know a muslims are not bad ..in fact only a few are extreme ...but I was getting ground down about all the bad treatment of women ....nice to see a free one and learn more about the women as people

She was pretty good. Some fine tuning for some jokes ( more than inbetween) and would have had me rolling with laughter over the chuckle and smile I gave. But I could watch more.
